Helpful App. I was able to view my reservations, explore the ship, the various restaurants. It would be nice to have a calendar view (with the date/time displayed in the main screen instead of at the details level).

The experience of the ship is 1st class. The app could use some work. The print descriptions are too large for a typical cell phone screen. No way to adjust it to view easily.

It I s helpful to see tour information and local weather. Many typos and some of our paid tours were not listed. Made us worry that we were charged incorrectly. But, all our tickets showed up despite what the app said.

Perfect voyage! We had such a great time. The app makes it very easy to book things and check our schedule. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love being able to look at all the options and menus at any time whether I'm on or off the ship. And it's great for double checking times for an event that you would like to attend.

Nice to have all your information at your fingertips. Would be nice to be able to cancel a reservation using the app. The ship you are sailing on should be the one shown on deck plans. We were on an expedition ship and it showed an ocean ship..

Great way to stay up to date on all the activities available on the boat as well as all excursions and restaurant reservations!

Useful for quick reminder of excursions booked, and other events schedule.

Viking is the best cruise line we have experienced throughout many years of cruising. They make is easy, the food is outstanding and the excursion are informative and enjoyable.

Do not understand why I have to wait to get on board to activate this app. Why does viking want this app to only work on their WIF? I'll be using my phones browser to connect to the myvikingjournry site.

Very useful but doesn't seem to have the daily programme on it.

A bit fiddly getting going but it has everything and then some.

Really bad quality in comparison to the Apple app. The "View Menu" function doesn't work. On the IOS, guests can view all the different menus for the entire trip for all meals in each restaurant, and there isn't access to that anywhere else, including stateroom TVs. Please fix it - I'd like to see what my options are.

I downloaded this app in prep. of a Viking ocean cruise. When on the cruise I opened it, but found it to be useless. It did list the excursions I signed up for and it did have a calendar but the functionality was not there. The calendar was a list of events with the time of day but no day info. You can't modify the calendar. Other parts of the app directed you out of the app for info. I found I didn't use it although it does have great potential if redesigned.

It worked well most of the time. Sometimes the information in the calendar and Viking Daily wasn't updated, was missing altogether, or was incorrect, especially after a delay which caused some schedule changes. It also would have been nice to see where we were - not included in the app.

It doesn't appear to be good for anything. I told it I already had a cruise booked and then it said I couldn't do anything until I was on the ship and connected to its WiFi. I thought a big point of this app was to allow contactless and more efficient check in. Wouldn't that have to happen *before* I get on the ship? And terminating the app normally doesn't work. The 7/30/'21 update is still junk.

This is an informative app that's easy to use. Love the daily list of events. And making restaurant reservations was a breeze!

Keeps your schedule for you. Easy access to ship, itinerary, account and port information.

Decent onboard app, just needs to provide results from all the covid tests.

Worked great when I was on board the ship. Easy to book restaurant choices.

My Android phone could not fully view the Viking Daily and other things that required scrolling. My iPad and a fellow traveler's iPhone had no such issues. It was nice to be able to check things while out and about. I was using the most current version of the app.

Exceptional service and the excursions are amazing!

The app allows you to get all the information to help when you are on the cruise, what's going on on the ship, your excursions, entertainment, restaurants, even your on board account, it's very useful.

Crummy app. (Note most of the 5 star reviews are for the CRUISE, not there app!) Slow, never actually updated, cannot log on from off the ship. Must be connected to ship's wifi to connect to profile, no nightly menu information. There are numerous electronic interactive touch screen message boards around ship that ARE useful. App should essentially give same info. Needed to be able to log in off ship to see what's on for later. Overall poor app. (Cruise was fine however.)

The app is very informative and works well. For other cruise lines, you can add an activity from the daily bulletin (e.g., trivia at 2 PM) to your personal calendar with a click, but that is not possible on the Viking app. All the other features are great, though!

I had great difficulty getting the app to work. Very frustrating and upsetting. The staff finally got it to work, though they also had trouble with it initially. I had hoped that it would show my daily excursions and my dinner reservations but no such luck. So far, the app is a bust.
