Really good emulator, definitely recommend. But to my knowledge, there isn't a way to customize the UI, in other emulators I've been able to re-arrange button placement, and button size. Also, being able to change how the speed up feature speeds up the game would be fantastic. Otherwise, pretty amazing!
You won't find a better free GB/GBA emulator anywhere. It freezes sometimes when you reset a game, BUT all you have to do is load another game, save it, load the game that froze before and reset it, then it doesn't freeze anymore, so that's not a problem at all. The controls are big and make it easy to play a game. It's very good :3
So far the most easiest & simple GBA emulator. It has necessary features like save states & cheat support. Downside was the lack of customization like moving & scaling the buttons & also support for external gamepad. So far just 1 issue & it was the persistent rom searching box. It's not that bad, it's just that it always pop-up whenever you open the app despite all roms were already listed. Overall, I can say it's a low end device friendly but I hope in the future it will have gamepad support.
This emulator does everything well. It handles .sav files correctly and saves states in .sgm format. It even has a speed function! The control scheme is almost perfect, the menu can hide the state buttons which makes the view more enjoyable. If I could add anything it would be a horizontal lock option and a 2nd speed key to hold down instead of toggle above the start or a and b keys.
Works really well in comparison to all the other emulators I've tried! Only issue is that on some of my games it takes me into the middle of the map sometimes and the only thing I can do to get out of it is to reset the game. I've tried loading it, restarting my phone, etc, but nothing has worked. Another thing is that I can't find any cheat that work with it (I want me the infinite rare candies cheat lmao)
Amazing. not only no ads, but its so clear. If i had to complain about anything, it would be increasing the screen size slightly more, but overall great. I thought there would be some roms already in it, but youd have to find and download it yourself. Not a problem though. Easy enough to find. Thanks!
Ever since my boy free got off the play store, ive been trying to find an alternative gba emulator, I didnt realise theres so many that arent that great, this one is one exception-so far-. The only problem I have is that I use touch screen controls and it would be nice to have them viberate or atleast be more visible. But so far it isnt bad at all. Okay so j just got my first problem, in around 20 minutes the game froze. It was a good thing I saved last, i see how this can become annoying.
Really amazing emulator. The save featur allowing you to left whenever is really convinient. I remember using the sleep fonction in Golden Sun all the time but this is way better. Really stable to. Only problem, I can't for the life of me get the cheat to work and when I plug a wireless keyboard evry button work exept the D-pad. Wireless controllers dose not work. Not a deal breaker tho.
Works very well with graphics and sound emulation. Controls are okay, but I guess touching glass is different than pressing a button. The only game that had slowdown was Mario Kart Super Circuit, but no other games had that issue. Works offline too.
The emulator works fine except it freezes when I try and reset the game. It's still the only android gba emulator I could find with no intrusive ads and working save states, just make sure to save a save state from the start of your game in place of the reset button.
Pretty decent free emulator with no ads on screen, but only on the menu. The only problem is customisation of the buttons and layout isn't present. Hope we can get updates for those features in the future.
No customization and the layout is really awkward and uncomfortable, especially when playing on a tablet. Only menu choices are to find a game in your device, or download NES or N64 emulators and crashes when switching between games.
Easy to use and reliable. Just wish there was customization for button placement; action games that rely on the shoulder buttons and movement are harder to play because of the default layout.
Great emulator. It runs both GBA and GB/GBC roms and doesn't stutter. My only real issue is that there is zero controller support.. And you can't edit the button layout to suit your own comfort.
awesome emulator with minimal ads. Given it 4* purely based on the fact there is no search feature. When you have a large catalogue of games it can be tedious searching through all your roms to find the one you want. If it had this would definitely be a 5* app for me.
It works great except that I can't save with the save slots. I can use the in game save feature, but when i try to use the save/load slots, nothing happens.
This is like having a Gameboy Advance on a phone yet because it is also a phone, better. This is really great. They even added a fast forward button so while you're playing Pokémon, you can do everything faster because sometimes it is just too slow. There is only Pokémon FireRed, Pokémon LeafGreen and Pokémon Ruby. You can add more yet those are the three that come with this app. ***IT NEVER HAS CRASHED.***
Its amazing the ROMs run smoothly and great! and the layout it the best for me, idk why people hate on this! Plus the saving feature is soo eeasy!! One tap then it saves!!! I love this emulator, this one is better than your guy's other emulator tbh
Double touch controls are glitchy. Needs auto rotate, hassle to always turn it on. Always tapping the fast forward button by mistake. Plays ROMs well though
I love this emulator first it saves your progress next the fast forward is not too fast and not too slow its quality is great and I give you the person who made this emulator a 10 out of 10
Very good. The only problem ive had is the reset button. It may frezze but if you just close the application and try it again it will work. So if you want a GBA EMU this is the one you should get (I was NOT paid to say this its just good).
A decent emulator BUT, one absolutely tragic issue is that you can't change the positions of the buttons, they're way too low and after 5 minutes of pressing A/B you've got an uncomfortable pain in your thumb. Doesn't make sense, why is it so low?
Honestly, this emulator is pretty okay in my standards. I have no problems with it, other than the fact that I cannot customize the size or placement of buttons. Not a big deal though.
every once in a while inwould try to add a new game and all previous games would be removed and id have to furiously dig around my sd card to try and recover some gameplay. this happened multiple times. it worked great in the beginning though
this is a good emulator. it has an easy saving feature and a fast foward button. the only thing i will i could due is connect controllers to it.
no ads. it played games ok. trash controls. I failed so many times because one of the direction pads would just decide not to work.
I like this app because you can play gbc and gba games but there's a small issue, there are random messages that pop up when I'm trying to use the app. They're distracting is there anything I can do to make them stop? One of the messages says write battery or something like that.
seems like a decent emulator, but I can't find any option to pair a controller through Bluetooth, which is how I like to play. sorry, but until that's a feature I'll have to look elsewhere.
Of the emulators I've tried this is absolutly 1 of the best. If a few things could be fixed it would be perfect! 1. be able to adjust the screen and button sizes and placment (this alone would be huge!) 2. be able to flip screen between portrait & landscape without using phones auto rotation. 3. be able to control the brightness of the game (while my phone is as low as it can go its still pretty bright & give me a headache rather quickly this feature would be very helpful. Then 100** XD
