Vine - video entertainment

I remember watching alot of funny vine shorts on youtube in the past whenever I feel down, or bored, but I never actually used the app. I'm a little saddened to see it not being supported anymore. It feels like I'm walking to the grave of what once was a great short videos maker that died too young, but I guess it's for the best. Thank you Vine for making alot of people's childhood, including mine.

Greatest app of all time app when it comes to humor and fun around social media, especially well known people such as Thomas Sanders, Zach King, Hardstop Lucas and more. Always missed it and loved it still but if it were by any means to bring back vine, it would only get worse because the same people wouldn't go back to it, TikTok of this generation nowadays would kill it because of the editing, humor and overall of how TikTok feels would just ruin it. A golden trophy for us back in the days.

I downloaded this out of curiosity. The blurb gives the impression that, although folks can no longer upload/download etc, we can still watch the old videos... But no, as others have stated, all you get is a load of information explaining that all the videos have been archived - and you don't even need to download the app to get that info - the exact same page can be found on the Vine website. So, this app is a very strong contender for the 'Most Useless App Of All Time' award! 😁

The people want vine back, it's platform was incredible, cute, funny and actually not as cringey as things today. People had to rely on actual creativity, not being given the option to use music in the background and just lipsync it. Hopefully this app can rise back up and become great again.

I opened the app thinking that I would be able to see the old videos that was there before vine quit. Sadly that doesn't happen, but the memories of vine is in our heart as it will always be better than tiktok. I wish I would be able to figure out how vine worked but it won't happen. Vine deserves a million stars. Best app to ever be there. Rip vine.

I loved Vine. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use it. Just wasn't in that incredible generation... I am positive it was just as amazing as everybody says it was. I still love watching old Vine Compilations on YouTube, because that's as close as I'll get. Thank you for the years and years of laughs and jokes, Vine. Forever alive in our memories. 💚

Vine's always had a special place in my heart. It represents an era, an era where life was good. I only turned old enough to have social media this year, but I remember Vine dearly. It was my childhood. Seeing it archived really makes my heart ache, but I know it will come back one day. Twitter really missed an opportunity in 2020 to bring it back though. I would do anything just to see that icon green again and have a feed of funny 6 second loops. We miss you vine. <3

When the app was still up. I remember after school going on my phone and watching vines for a while. It helped me escape from school and relax. Always made me laugh. It was really sad see this app die. I miss it so. I don't think I ever left a review on an app. But I'm glad to give this 5 stars for the laughs it gave me.

I love this, it obviously doesn't work since it was taken down in I think 2016 and even though I am just 11 so I never used it, I've seen complations on YouTube and it reminds me of when I lived in my home country with my family, we'd get down and dirty, we'd eat my grandma's food and just the raw I-don't-care-i'm-doing-this-for-fun vibes I get from some vines are just... ugh... I love it. Hopefully it'll come back one day but I don't want the tiktok kids getting their hands on it..

I love vine. Ever since I was four vine has been in my life. Im eleven now, almost 12. It's sad not being able to see much of it again, but vine really did a great job when they made it. Vine took a big part in some people's lives too! Like mine. Vine was a really great short comedy video app. The more I see the more I love it. It's still amazing to see that they didn't take the app off completely. I think that they might even bring it back. Just maybe! Just keep hoping it does!

It's so sad that vine has passed. I downloaded it when it was shut down. So sad that they had to shut down the app. I dont even know why they had shut it down, I had just read some reviews on the app. I am also rating it five stars just because I know vine was like tiktok and like the same and tiktok is amazing. Vine will always rest in our hearts and our minds. Maybe one day, the vine creators can reactivate the app. I would have loved to see the app, vine, in action. Too bad I was late. 💕💖😭

I'm 10 but I'm not like all the fricken 9 year olds saying "THIS DOESN'T WORK IT TAKES ME TO A PAGE THAT HAS 3 BUTTONS!!!!! I HATE IT!!!!!!" this app was shut down in like 2016 I was 6 then so I didn't use it but I would watch compilations of videos from it on YouTube and from what I saw it was a very funny and good app!!! I didn't see many people lip syncing unlike Tiktok which I do use but Vine looked better then Tiktok. I wish this app was never shut down-R.I.P Vine you'll never be forgotten-

Vine gave me so many good memories and cheered me up when I was sad. I love vine and it's sad that it's no longer a thing but we do have youtube to remind us of how amazing it was. Maybe one day in the future vine will come back and we can revisit our memories. The dreams will never die. They will loop on!

It was the best app ever. From 2013 to 2017 this app was golden. Most legendary memes came from here. But now it has been put to rest as a new app, TikTok has taken ove. I myself don't have TikTok so I can't say anything, but I know it can never be as good as vine. For making people's days and childhoods. Thank you, Vine.

I was on vine not so long ago and didn't think to start a channel at all... Now that I have a YT channel, I wanted to start Vine too... Suddenly, it was shut down, I now know why my fav. vines were disappearing, because as quickly as I got into vine I got sucked out, I am sorry but when I grow up I might even make an app that might run forever that's just like vine so people can enjoy videos... I just wish I could have enjoyed making videos as I did watching them, but that got revoked... No hate!

I love this app! I was upset when it got shut down but one day in the future I hope it comes back! Also for the people saying it"s a waste of time it only comes up with Terms And service and stuff like that just know that is because the app got shut down in 2017, and they keep the app up because if you were on the app before it shut down you could see your vines so you don't have to be upset if they're gone or something like that! It's sad that it isn't up anymore but I wish it was! 😊❤

You should make a video recorder app, clean and simple without community/posting options. With a vine style video recorder showing last frame makes it easy to get creative.

In the world of Tik Tok and Instagram reels, vines still live on. There was just something very wholesome about vines that no other app or video platform has. I hope someday vine comes back, now I look back at all the good memories. We miss you vine.

Obvioisly this doesnt work now but all the memories and laughs i got from this app are worth 5 stars! I feel sorry for the kids who didnt grow up with this amazing app. 2013-2016 truly were the best. I guess this is what our parents meant when they said "the good old times"

It was the best app ever! And I wish I could get on it at least one more time! It was so funny and addictive! If they brought vine back, I would DEFINITELY download it back immediately! This vine gave me so much joy! I miss it so much, and I feel like there's still hope for it!

Vine, always made me smile when I was younger. It is and will always be better than TikTok. It was fun and brang smiles to people faces. When I was a kid I always watch vine from youtube and the year is like 2011-2012 and all of them is good video...but sadly the app is shutdown. thankyou for make me the best childhood. But, I hope you can make vine is available again with all those old video.

I didn't have a phone myself when I was younger but I used to watch Soo many vibes on my mom's phone on YouTube. My favorite creators were Lele pons she was so funny and Daz black. They always made my day. And also, I still watch old Vines on yt. I wish I would actually had the app before it had been archived :(. I'm so sad it's gone now and will never come back. I wish things were like before before it got deleted in 2018. After vine got deleted Musically/TikTok became way popular too.

This app was the best. I had it for 2 year and then it got put to rest which I was disappointed about but I hope it comes back to work soon. For anyone for whom its not working and they want to have it, it stopped in 2017

I know Vine has been archived, I just tried opening the app and there is no using the app. Google Play you need to remove this app off your store, because it no longer works. I figured this would have been obvious when it was taken down and archived. The contact that came from this app was amazing, but now tick tock has taken over. Do not bring us pain by keeping this app in the store even though you can't even use the app.

I can't even use the app, when I downloaded and opened the app,all I could do was read. I only had access to 3 things, Learn more, Privacy policy, and Terms of Service. I read them all, but when I returned to the main page, I realized this was all a huge time waster, sadly. I hope this is fixed soon. - Sydney
