Constantly crashing or throwing errors like it isnt connected but will load after, on every single page. Usage is roughshod at best, anyway. You never know if you're going to accidentally calling someone or just logging a call note. Lacks a LOT of vital features for anyone except front facing sales, and even then it's difficult to access what you need.

Since the most recent update, this app seems to not want to do anything. Every single thing I click, I get an error message. I can't reply to emails, I can only occasionally respond to a text. Using Pixel 5 with all updates.

App has been very useful for me in streamlining the inputting of customer information and doing quick tasks away from the lot at home. The tech designer of the app reached out to help assist with a pretty big bug that caused me to not be able to open the app at all. Appreciate the assistance! Edit: have lost lead response times due to not getting notifications of new leads via the app or via sms text message. Also, need to be able to add and read attachments to email through the app.

Edit added on. The app has been down for a good part of the day. Wish it was working 5/16/22 I'm just going to leave this star rating as a 1 star. Too much downtime during busy hours. Update 2/25/2022....Guess what....down again. Come on VinSolutions.....start working!

Ya know..I was gonna rate this a 1 star. But since the latest update, it's been flawless. Works as it should. 4 stars because there's no application for for my Galaxy Tab S7, but there is for iPad. Which unfortunately leaves me left out when I watch Apple users scanning from their tablets...5 stars when you release an app for Galaxy Tab.

Empty promises for fixes and new features. No ability to send photos, zooming on email cuts off the top few lines, inability to reply all, no access to sent attachments. Can't even send attachments from my phone. The app is 95% useless and the web page on a PC is outdated. The funny thing is that this is a "brand new" version of the old useless app. This one is just as bad. If you are a dealer look elsewhere for a CRM.

App is ok. Lots of things you should be able to do that are not possible. No way to attach images/files to emails from my mobile image gallery is a huge problem. It could be easier to see communication with customers without opening their history. Finding incoming messages should be easier. I think that if a customer has sent communication that should be the first thing you see when you open the app. I hate having to search the customer an open their file for each notification.

A few nice additions from previous version, but also missing a lot. Cannot see vehicle cost in this version. Cannot add photos within the app. Cannot add vehicle color to trade-in. Cannot scan insurance card. Clunky to use. App will not close by hitting the Back button. Appears to be written by contracted interns, not on-staff professional programmers. Your clients deserve better.

Update to review below: This new version is much better and more user friendly. Having the ability to toggle between notifications in the dashboard is super helpful. Way easier to navigate now. Thank you! "Cant filter notification content. Tasks are all out of place chronologically. Does a decent job of recording phone calls."

This app sucks but I have to use it. The texting of videos makes it crash, the driver's license scan feature is spotty at best, and there are tons of little annoyances. Needs lots of work Update March 2020: still hard to use, spotty, and unreliable. Can't even text a customer unless I've started the chat on my PC.

The app is extremely helpful in keeping track of customers. I'm using Android 10 on a OnePlus 7 phone. The problem is, when I try to input the person using the driver's license it allows me to take a picture of the front but when taking a picture of the back it will never focus and never save the data or even allow me to tap and input the data from the back of the license. Thus I am back to doing it manually. Bummer. Ideas?

Most recent update broke the logged in sessions. Unable to stay logged in after closing the app. Was fine before the most recent update. Before I would have to log back in once every week or so. Now it is everytime I switch between apps multiple times every day. Decent app overall, but recent update broke Android version. iPhone does not have same problem at the moment. Will update review when it is fixed.

can't put notes in from app. SUPER limited. have to use your old app and new app combined. really slows me down. I have to use your actual program in my mobile browser to take a short credit app or any real info from customer. It could be so much better. I was super excited thinking it would me a major time savor to someone who sells as many cars as I do. PLEASE please work out the kinks. is the iPhone version any better?

Having so many problems with doing anything from the task menu. Completing the task will not clear the task but it seems to have performed the task. Always forgetting to use the check mark when scanning new licenses to accept them (should be a little easier to do). It was working fine before the last updates. Please get it fixed.

Problematic needs addressed NOW! It saved another customers driver's license scanned 1.5 earlier to a new lead. Unacceptable! I am happy to see they found that issue and resolved it. A few more bugs and we will be golden. Right now I am having an issue with having to re sign in all the time I want to use the app.

It has improved over time. Minor issues here and there. One being when you scan a license it pulls the full zip which won't allow you to save the scan unless you manually remove the last few numbers. Would be nice if that could get fixed.

Poorly executed. An app is designed to make data entry easier. The focus on tasks should not be a priority. That is what the desktop is designed for! Should have focused on the needs of salespeople. Client entry, vehicle choice, trade data!

Wish I could 0 star. Disgusting that a salesman has to login to this app every time it opens. Then it opens to the actual website to log in!! Absolutely disgusting. Its literally faster to just use the website on your phone to do everything. Cox automotive seems to eff this app up more and more on every update. The bridge ID is also pitiful and don't get me started on the desktop site. App has constant email bugs and others that won't fit in the review.

Bug fixes, but no upgrade yet. When you get notifications and you click to open, you have to manually search it anyway. Does not open... Also, I could never get it to scan the BACK of the driver licenses, only the front 🤔

This app is completely useless, everytime the developers update, it gets worse, cannot use it at all, cannot sign in, cannot view dashboard, cannot click on customer to enter their info, you might as well get rid of this app and build a new one from the beginning

After last update I can't claim any new leads, you hit the claim button and it pops up with a "there was an error performing this task" message. And it never stops saying that. Log out, Uninstall and reinstall, completely stop app and restart. Always says there's an error.

Never miss a lead again !! Load new customer info anytime, anywhere and shave some of the waiting time from the sales process. This app is extremely useful and instrumental to staying on top of every sales opportunity, and maintaining good customer relations to insure future opportunities. It's a game changer !!

App has connection issues, bugs like crazy, redundancy on things that don't make any sense, and even more connection issues. If I didn't have to use it I wouldn't. Their website isn't much better either.

It won't let me set an appointment on a "sold customer" I want to set an appointment to remind me to email them, call them, do something that I promised them. Just says error when I try to. Please fix and I will change my rating. Thank you! Update, got a call from one of the devolopers immediately after posting review. Very happy with quick response. Sounds like they are working on a fix. Thank you!

Doesn't load properly, has no inbox for emails. When you click a notification that a customer has emailed/contacted back and you click the notification it just opens the app instead of opening the actual notification.

I do not like vin. Simple things require more steps and it slows/freezes the computer.plus it puts you under a microscope and effectively you text invite looks like spam..if work didn't force me to get it,I wouldn't.

horrible app. never works with android phones and barely with any iPhone. confusing, slow, crashes. worst system on the market. my advice is stay away from vin solutions period! wish I could give it less than 1 star The finally had this app working perfectly but then in around the end of April they did something to the app to make it the worst app ever created. They even screwed up the co+a5mputer version and they have no idea to do to fix it. WELL WHY NOT GO BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE!

We need more search filters on the search section on the app. The limit of 250 characters on notes to be removed. Ability to lost or dead a lead to be added. Ability to attach files to emails to be added to the app
