Audio Issues!!! Claims to work with all devices!! I installed this app a few years ago. Their would be no audio on my vids. I uninstalled the app. Fast forward to the present and on a new phone, I installed the app again. The same issue continues. The app says, oops something went wrong, we'll send a report and fix the problem. Nothing has been fixed. I thought well maybe I need to pay for the upgrade to get the audio to work. Wrong! And not much of an upgrade! I just now (10/17/19 8:30 am) looked for a refund, and of course their is a 2 hour grace period to get a refund after the initial install! So they get to keep your money?! This is legal? So NO this does not work with ALL your devices! Save your time, frustration, and money!
Only giving three stars for now because on the Galaxy S9+, it notifies me that "something went wrong", and the video saved but without the audio. This does not do any good when trying to make a film with the vintage music. Come on app developers, get with the program and help us people out. Using it on my Galaxy S5, it seems to save video and audio with no issues. Let's get a fix for this or I will report this app to Google Play for being a scam. There should be no reason to continue to sell this app to the public if it's not going to be updated regularly and fixed.
Just got this and paid for the video feature. It doesn't work at all! Like not even a little bit! It says I can upload a video,but I upload it, it stretches the video out in a ridiculous way and all the features disappear. You can't save, you can apply the features to the video. The only button is the back button that says "load video" and that erases the video and takes you back to the home screen. I want my money back.
i thought i am the only one who has a problem on others Filters. I used to use it in back in the few months. It does work good at the start but later on the filter exactly went black (like for example vintage) srsyl i've been planning to purchase the full version of this one, but in this state I having a doubt.
I hope you can make this app better. I thought this app is really good but when I finished taking the video in turns out that there is no audio and it says that conversion can't run on my device. But other than that this would be a great app if they fix that problem with the audio.
Awesome app for taking retro video and pics except huge bug where most of the filters won't allow you to see what you're filming and may not work at all for still photos. Looks like it crashes but video still saves, audio never does. I'd give 5 stars if they'd fix those bugs.
I am not impressed. Some effects work on some when I finished with a photo where did the check mark go so I could save it. I tried adding music and the music wouldn't work. I'm very disappointed with this app. I was really excited about playing with this one. Disappointed.
I go to plug in a video into this application, and it just sits on a page that says 'Load Video', which only shows the video I want to put in, and a back button. As far as I'm concerned, there is no way to load a video in, so this thing is getting a bad vote until further notice.
My favorite vintage camera app! Lots of fun old style cameras to pick from which a bunch of different filters to mess around with. I like that you can take regular photos too, not just videos. They did a great job replicating the look of the original camera and the app file size is very small which is a big bonus! A must have 5-star favorite of mine.
I deleted the app a few months ago (after buying all the extra features mind you) because every time I record something, I saves it with no audio. I redownloaded the app, hoping that this bug had been fixed, but unfortunately, it's still occurring.
Can't save videos with sound, always comes up with an error message. I've also had trouble with not being able to load any of my own videos onto it, didn't try with photos as I uninstalled it before I could. It's decent range of filters giving it 2 stars.
I purchased the full version and am not able to record or edit any videos. An error message comes up saying: "whoops something went wrong. We were not able to configure ..." Please fix the problem or refund me for an app I am not able to use for videos at all.
Kind of annoyed that this does not record audio on a Pixel 3 in VHS and Super-8 mode after having paid for it but i guess i was too eager because the app looked cool. Hope this gets fixed soon. I would rate it 5 stars if it did.
i have several reasons for my one star review and i've used the app for less than a minute. here they are; (1) it works way worse on new phones because the version is so old. (2) if you can manage to use it, it requires collecting your contacts?? (3) it's very laggy when you join and the screen is too wide. (4) speaking of wide screens, on the page where you confirm using a certain video, it heavily widens it. (5) i uploaded an 11 second video and it denied me. i give up. please update it.
It has great filters but when I save a video from my gallery with the effect, it says "something went wrong". Please fix this. I'm not able to save any video and sometimes it squeezes the videos.
The filters in this app were actually cool. The down side is the video-audio joining is very poor, it takes almost forever to compress videos and it cuts of some parts of the audio...in essence, filters; awesome. Quality; needs work
I believe this app hasn't been updated since 2016 (4 years ago). I also couldn't hear any sound from my videos made with the so called "Yay"cam app. I've noticed I've been using this app before and noticed I know about the 1st vintage song and the 3rd vintage song in the app. So, I think it's safe to say that I would give this app half the rating.
I think this app has potential but when I try to save my clips, it says error and doesn't have a sound. When I like an app, I'm willing to pay, but this one needs more improvement. At least fix that error
I literally just downloaded this app and I tried to use it for one of my edits and it kept saying there was an error loading my video and I figured it was because it was probably too long so I tried to see if it would work on any of my other videos and literally EVERY video I tried, it was saying there was an error. No matter what length the video was. Uninstalled 😒😒
Hello there. I uplaoded this app yesterday and when I started using it I realized that everytime I shoot a video with one of the soundtracks in the app, it saves the video but without any sound which is strange and disappointing. 🤷🏻
There are problems in the process of turning your gallery videos to vintage in the app. It doesn't let me select them. Everything else works perfect. I have a Note 8.
I used to love this app bcuz of the static/film filters but now it won't let me load ANY of my videos in my gallery (tried multiple attempts, short 30sec to 1min vids, changing vid orientations, low quality vids- NONE would load) so there's absolutely no point in keeping this app anymore until it's updated and fixed.
I paid in hopes of getting all the features working, but instead it shows a black screen. It's incompatible with lots of new phones (I have an Honor 10) and this app hasn't been updated for 3 years. Don't expect they will now. It's an absolute waste of money. App can't import videos, the 8mm feature doesn't work, audio doesn't record, and the creators don't reply to issue complaints. Would recommend just downloading Vintage 8mm Video - VHS. I don't even understand how this got so many 5 stars.
