Using a color scale, you will know in which direction you need to adjust your finger positions. Using a high precision and efficient pitch detection algorithm, it shows you the detected note in real time!
If you prefer to tune your violin by ear, Violin Tools offers four different tones, one for each string, with which you can compare.
A handy metronome is also included. You can easily set the tempo for your practices by dragging the indicator in the needle. Also, you can listen to a drone note while you practice. Drone notes are great for ear training and pitch awareness.
A new experimental feature for recording your practice sessions was added. With this, you can record yourself and even share your audio files with your professor and friends.
The violin is a wonderful instrument, but is also one of the most difficult ones to learn, so let us help you get better and better with our app.

It is very helpful. Great app.
Good app, onky notes could also have their latin names, as the violine is a latin instrument and many people study with other names. Apart os that, i love it.
Unfortunately it only works about once out of every four tries. Often get a screen that says "loading" and nothing ever loads and none of the options work.
My favourite song and music is Humko hamise churalo, i love that song and the music. This violin gave me what i wanted. Thank u so much!
Wheres the option for different pitches

The settings bug isn't fixed for my Samsung S4. Can't change the BPM on metronome.

This app is amazing but the problem is it won't make a sound the only thing that works is the mic and the metronome can you please fix the issue. Please and thank you
