had to cancel my order as supplier couldnt confirm it works with app. I've read if you message viomi support via facebook theyll connect it for you...im not on facebook, and have messaged viomi on all emails i can find with a google translate of my message in chinese as well and havent had a single reply in the last 3 weeks. Edit: i did end up buying vacuum... works with mi home app not this one, vacuum is great, software needs updating! cant even do basic things like vacuuming at a set time?
"UNABLE TO CONNECT" prevents adding to Network. Result - *** unable to program cleaning ***. The vacuum cannot be instructed to Mop & wash. Close to 1 year Viomi has not resolved basic wireless connectivity function. App is updated to current version. The vacuum simply does not function as advertized. Having spent considerable money, I am extremely disappointed in both the company, Xiaomi Viomi(?) and their product Viomi V2 Pro. Other than basic sweep + vacuum, the Viomi V2 PRO 👎 useless
I use Samsung note 10. Here is how I connected to the robot. 1. Turn off data 2. Turn off auto connection to wife (both 2.4 and 5G) 3. Go to the app to enter password for 2.4 wifi password 4. You'll see cellphone being connected to Robot wifi. 5. Around 70~80 percent of configuration quickly switch back to wifi 2.4 with your cellphone. 6. Robot completes configuration up to 100%. (End)
Trying many times to connect phone with new Viomi robot but it can't connect to network.... Xiaomi shouldn't release this app if it doesn't work properly. My Phone is Samsung Note 20 with latest android version. Totally useless and have to uninstall the app.
Viomi v2 really cannot connect, can viomi do something about it. Wifi and device name is confused in manual to connect . How to connect? It does not work. Viomi please let us know so this consumer value is worth your brand to be improved not consumer disappointment in the development and brand. Please get back to us for the viomi v2.
unable to use the app to connect to the vacuum cleaner bought. suspect is because the vacuum cleaner is configured with a different product name compared to what is programmed in the app. unable to find a customer service number within the app nor online.

Could not get my Viomi v3 to connect through this app so used the Xiaomi Home app instead.
To make the Viomi V2 work with the Mijia APP (Mi home). Go to 'Viomi Tech' on Facebook and send them a message with your Xiaomi Mi Account user ID. They will help you out!

Can't connect to Viomi v3
The app works fine. I wish there was more functionality - at this moment it is impossible to save multiple maps, and edit the current map. However, once you start the app you can select multiple modes for my Viomi V2, select schedules etc. The biggest problem is the connectivity. It took me maybe 50 tries until I managed to pair this app with my robot. Nothing changed, I just tried and tried again until I was successful. I was about to give up and return the robot. Now it works as intended.
