Crashes every time you open. have reinstalled multiple times and still crashes every time. Update: app works sometimes but still crashes constantly (new phone) and slows the phone down. Also, available balance shown is NOT accurate at all! Whats the point of having an app if the balances shown are incorrect?!? Ditch this app.
This app is horrible. Not intuitive at all. Too many steps to check balances or to transfer money with Zelle. No biometrics and cannot opt to see password when logging in. Once logged in it either crashes or gets stuck in a loop. Doesn't always accept my password and keeps logging me out. Only having these issues since the switch from The Fauquier Bank to Virginia National Bank. Also noticing new maintenance fees on my statement now so I'll be looking for another bank.
Edit - 12/08/21: Took away a star due to the app being just shy of useless. If I could give it a negative rating, I would. If this continues into the new year, then I will certainly be looking for a new bank. Constantly requires me to redo my initial set-up. The old TFB app was much more stable. Bank seriously went downhill after the merger/acquisition.
The re-enrolling to log in every few hours/every day is infuriating. The only thing I use bank app for is to check balances. Personally would change to 5 stars if the login/enroll thing was fixed. But again, I literally only use it for checking balance.
if I could give 0 stars I would. I went from The Fauquier Bank app with fingerprint login and reliable experience to this VNB app that doesn't even hold on to my login for 5 minutes. I have to do full login and enroll cycle every day in order to view my account info or make transfers. Unacceptable. If you had not force me to switch I never would have switched. ADD FINGERPRINT LOGIN! FIX THE BUGS! or give back the reliable and more feature complete TFB app!
This app is so glitchy. How am I supposed to set up Zelle?? The buttons do not work and it crashes. I am a former TFB client. They just merged with VNB. Their app never crashed. I am really annoyed. I have not been able to get on any banking app since the merger.
It sucks! The merge from The Fauquier Bank to VA Natl. Bank is unacceptable. They did not have my correct phone number but The Fauquier Bank had it, you try to sign on finally & it always wants you to renter info & send you a text message to activate your account, did not work, tried to phone CS & after 7 hours & 13 minutes still no answer after trying for 2 days. As a senior, we can't just get out to go to the branch to have them answer & after 41 yrs govt service i never had trouble.
This is a terribly bad app. When I am able to log on it continues to ask me to verify my identity. Never had this issue with tfb . We're going to be looking for a different bank, something so trivial as a banking app that we use on a daily basis not working? Totally unacceptable.
The app won't even work, it keeps saying update app and I click the link and it says open, then it just says loading and never loads. Tfb was way better, very disappointed by the merge.
I'm sorry but this app is terrible. It took 2 days to finally get it to work halfway. Then it worked fairly well for 2 days. Now it won't even let me into my account unless I want to resubmit all my account information..crazy.
On top of the hideous app with 4 digit security I just tried to use Plaid. It connects to the bank and shows no accounts. Changing banks.
Awful. No biometric log in option. A text every time I try to log in? Unacceptable. I still have not found where I can pay one of my billers... Now researching other banks. Miss TFB.
I hate that TFB merged. Nothing but problems. Tried to open the app.. says the current version is no longer compatible and I need to update the app... i updated the app... now I just go around in a circle. If i select "open app" it says its not compatible and needs to be updated.. I select "update app" it takes my into google play store and my only option is to "open" the app bc I already updated it. If I select "open" it says "not compatible need to update" 👈🏻 see the vicious circle of b.s.?
Doesn't work. Keeps force closing on my brand new LG Stylo 5. Tech guy was no help at all. Said that they were having no issues with the app, yet here we are. Absolute bullsh**. You make the bank look bad. 🤬
Absoluteley unacceptable it continues to ask for updates when it is up to date merging these two banks was the dumbest thing that tfb could have done and I will be switching banks when I can this is ridiculous I shouldn't have to fight this stupid app to check my finances I'd rather just check in atms like I had been this app is trash and needs to be redone
Just doesn't work. Keeps telling me I need to update it even though it is up to date. The merge was a bad choice for TFB.
Horrible app! I've used online banking for years and this is the worst app and online experience I've ever had the misfortune of using.
App keeps showing loading screen. Tried mine and my husband's and can't get into the app.

This app doesn't work for us. Only one of us can have the app for our joint account, so only one of us can access the account.
Locked me out after only a couple password attempts with no warning.
Mediocre when it does work. TFB app was much better and easier to use.
Monkey's have designed apps that work better than this one. 2/10 feels bad.

This is the worst app that I've ever used. Probably going to change banks.
This app is really poorly designed. There is no card guard, so one cannot turn off their debit card in case of fraud. Every log in, you must do a two-factor authentication which contains about 5 steps. There is no section to edit one's personal details such as phone numbers. There is no ability to quickly see one's balance without fully logging in. The whole user interface is years outdated. It's just quite disappointing.
