Virtual City Playground®

I played Virtual City several years ago in Windows and lately I miss to play again. In Windows, everytime we upgrade our level, we'll move to other part of the city and focus to enhanced that part. I can't find those enjoyment with this version. I also find the "energy" irritating. I have to have energy just to move and rotate my buiding and it refill sooo slowly. Too much variable cost (money, diamond, energy) just to build a house

Basically, it's a good game. I love the bright colors, nice visuals. Thx! In Terms of gameplay, i have several recomm-ns. 1: player can't rotate screen. So, when u need to remove road, or trees behind a tall building - there's a problem. 2: it is not nice that a player don't know how many levels are left until each building's next upgrade. I would like to see this on the building label. Say "30 Diamond to unblock Or wait til level 50". 3: diamonds! Impossible to get, or to play w/o them. Luv u!

I love Virtual City games. This is a good version. I just don't like how I have to watch 10 ads in a row to get 1 diamond. It takes 20 diamonds to expand the land and there are about 100 expansions. Without paying cash, do the math on that. There needs to be easier ways to earn diamonds besides watching hundreds of ads with little payback. Also, we should be earning diamonds when building different major buildings and attractions at least. It would make the game more fun.

Great game but too hard to earn diamonds. I install about once a year, play for a few days and then quit when I can't do anything without buying diamonds. I really wish they'd make it easier to pay without spending money or watching 10 ads in a row for a single diamond. It takes 6 to 8 diamonds for the smallest of buildings.

Be sure to not spend any real money on this game. The game is just fine up until you get to a certain point where you have a large city then the game starts crashing during loading and won't open on any device so it's no longer playable and your only option is to delete and start over. Customer service is non existent, emails are never answered so problems remain unsolved.

Running on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, installed on this device 3 days. Glitchy, not running as well as on other devices. Buildings lost connection to vehicles. Had to clear all data and start over with new game, problems just shift to something different, i.e, locks up. I see there has not been an update since 2018. I take it this game is no longer supported.?

This is the best game I played so far, with the off-line system so you don't lose progress while it continues to always has me coming back every day and night playing the game any time I get. It's fun and exciting with the buildings and layout trying to build a empire tycoon. I recommend it for people who love empire building games

I thought this game was a wholesome game, until i realised that the game revolves around diamonds, trying to expand your city is hard since you run out of space fairly quickly, and you have to either watch ads or pay. I also noticed how the push notifications clickbait you into playing the game again, for example: "free chests! Come quickly before they run out!" You play, no sort of free chests anywhere. Also most of the game goals revolve around advertisising the game and stuff, not cool.

Virtual City Playground takes the fun of older versions and adds the in app purchases of what has basically taken over mobile games. That being said, so far at least, I can play without spending gobs of real money. I prefer gamers you pay for once and can just play, but those are hard to find.

Absolutely love this game. The nice thing about it is the fact that it is a mix between city building and a transport tycoon. I just wish it was possible to zoom in further so you could see the bigger, more closed up buildings. Could use some improvement in the graphics section.

The game is great when you have enough energy in it to do the things you need to do, you have made new ways to earn diamonds which is great, you cant excell in this game without them. the one star is because you have to watch 10 ads just to receive 1 diamond, now i know you rely on ads to keep the game free, to make better improvements etc. But 10 ads for just 1 diamond is ridiculous , sorry, but it is, i hope you can find a way to be able to improve this then it would be 5* all the way.

Just letting yall know, none of us are here for this game. We just really miss the other game you had with the actual level to level missions that actually provided challenges and not just a "pay to progress" simulator. Bring the old virtual city back!

Overall i enjoy the game. However, I do not like to play with others. And do not want to be forced to do so. Nor do i have a Facebook account and i don't want one. I don't mind so much having to work for the gems but it becomes a bit frustrating after a while. Videos don't necessarily gives you gems and its seems that too much emphasis is on it being a social media game. If that faded to an optional thing, it'd be awesome.

Overall a pretty good game. I do however wish there was a way to watch ads to earn energy. Editing my review from 5 stars to 1 star for now. The game keeps crashing and theres nothing I can do about it. I have spent time and actual money on this game and am disappointed that this seems to be a recurring problem. Will update my review if the issue gets resolved.

Cant watch ads, its say 10 second before can use but never change. Need better UI, need better Option make us watch ad and get something, its better than give us random ads, its just make me want go offline.

BEST CITY BUILDING GAME EVER. No need to collect money from each building. Automated transport system. Excellent graphics and animations. Lot of logic applied while developing unlike other city games. And many more features. All other city building games give you headache. Thanks a lot...reminded me of Social City by Playdom on Facebook, Disney discontinued it...but this game is even better than that.

A great game with realistic features. For example, bus, lorry and bin lorry's. Also, there needs to be something to generate diamonds without spending real money or watching 10 videos for 1 diamond. This makes expanding, clearing hills and doing certain missions impossible.

Good game but all the goals with Facebook, Twitter and others are annoying not everyone wants to connect to their accounts and you cannot skip them they just stay on the screen forever. ALSO the blue gems/diamonds could be easier to get especially if it's need to complete a goal

Going back here years after stopping playing on Mac. Still a good time-killer game, I recommend it to those who want a casual collection and city building game. Downside of course as it is an android game, you'll deal with energy and gem stuffs. P.S. The MacOS version keeps crashing upon starting the game, please take a look at that.

Just started playing this game. Game is good so far only the energy part is a bit annoying, have to wait quite alot for refilling the energy. There should be more option or ways for that. Overall seems quite good. Visual quality needs to be improved.

Played this game several years ago and my old phone couldn't handle it. With this new phone I will see how far I can go. Loved playing last time. Got as far as I could without buying gems. Less then half the city I built before. Don't remember needing so many gems to unlock land spaces. Couldn't do any more building without gems.

It's a really cool game. I've played a lot the original PC one, this one has all you would expect on a mobile game, some kind of "gems" you need to buy, energy to make things happen, a lot of time to make some advance, but it is still a wonderful game!

Not as fun as I remember. Energy and diamond system is unneeded, makes you wait or pay, making this more like an idle tycoon with little gameplay time. You have to spend diamonds for half of gameplay, and it's hard to get diamonds without paying. Building hitbox isn't tile-based, causing some buildings to be obstructed. Although game is no longer updated, a creative/sandbox/free-build mode would've been nice. Building removal should not cost diamonds. Expanding should cost money OR diamonds.

I played this game when it first came out and honestly it was one of the best games of my younger years, I missed it so much along with Starfall, now that I come back I see it has turned into a cash grab and it requires energy for everything, I understand that you want to make money but the game just isn't the same, if at most you could get rid of the energy I would put this rating to a 4 star

A really enjoyable game.I find it entertaining lots of fun and well designed. It is easy to play. I really enjoy these type of games.Building a virtual fun place. You can make up the name of your town build houses .I also love the sounds of a dog barking and cat meowing while I play. I do wish however that you could earn Crystal's more easily as it's extremely hard to get them without purchasing. Building your own virtual city is fun making it up as you go along very enjoyable indeed.very good.

It's an ok game for its city building...... but needs an option to skip missions as a lot are to do with social media etc.....which some players might not use. If you cant move forward in the game without that, then ita not worth playing as you cant really expand as everything need the damn diamonds (which are hard to earn)

Needs a lot of time and graft to play. The energy in the game takes too long to reload, and gems shouldn't be required for expansion areas. Blatantly, the developers have designed the game for in app purchases. A shame, as it has potential to be the BEST city builder
