I would like to use the nfc of the phone to automatically get the customers credit card number by just touching the credit card to the back of phone. The software exist. I know it works. But not with virtual merchant software.

I just tried to key in a transaction and told me I didnt have a wifi connection? I shouldn't need wifi to receive a payment, can you help?

Works when I need it, on the go.

Now my reader doesn't work I have had nothing but frustration with this .

I have seen plenty of people using virtual merchant on their iphones and the tip feature is now available. When can we expect this for androids?

Please add a tip function. Then I can rate at a 5

But without a tip function I'd lose a lot of money.

Makes selling easy! Installed not only on my phone, but the ipad as well. Very clean and professional look.

Works pretty good now most of the time. Still have some issues with different android devices at work.

Its worked great for 6 months

Works great. That new update though makes the app lock out when phone is turned. This needs to be fixed.

The App itself works great, as long as I am keying in transactions. The swipe leaves everything to be desired though. Bluetooth doesn't even properly see the Magtek BulleT device, instead listing it by it's MAC address. When you "Pair" it, the App just returns the error that the "Device is not paired". Not sure if this is an issue with the Magtek, or with the App... but since it paired properly on my former phone (Samsung Galaxy SIIX) yet still would not accept a card swipe, I think the problem may lay deeper than hardware. Hoping for a fix for this soon, as charging us extra for every time I have to key in a transaction seems hardly fair... the charge rates were the reason we left our former CC processor. The App holds great promise, and once they get the reader to communicate with it properly, will be worthy of 5 stars. Until then though, it's only performing at half it's potential. And to many, 50% ain't good enough. *edit to confirm that I have tested the Magtek with QuikPay and it reads the card data fine. So my issues do indeed appear to be related to the VM App itself. *EDIT 2* Update issued 01/12/13 fixes my issue with the BulleT not pairing - now works as advertised

The bluetooth pairing is still a little sketchy. It works, but very slow and I have to re-pair before every transaction. Also I would like to see a history of transactions in the app.

The current fix still does not work on the galaxy tab 2 10.1 version 4.0.4. The fix was only targeted for android version 4.2 or higher for the tablets. So now it's anybody's guess when either a software upgrade is going to happen or elavon does an across the board fix for the card reader (magtek or bullet). So not happy UPDATE 4-1-2013 still waiting for a fix for the galaxy tab 2 10.1 !!!!!!!!

Thought this was suppose to be more user friendly and fast.clients have to wait longer as it wont take the swipe and then have to manually enter all their personal info and key in card #.then i have to pay a higher rate per transaction because of keying in their info! What a racket.

Bullet does now pair with Samsung gs3. Yaaaa!!!!!Haven't done any transactions yet though. When pairing it shows mac address instead of magtek bullet. had to guess that it was the correct device. But progress is being made.

The app would be fine but the bank fees make this more expensive than square or paypal.

All Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union cards can't be read. Always need to key in and pay higher rate. In Tampa there are a lot of those cards.

User friendly and easy setup/process.

Updated to 4 stars as my gs3 now pairs properly with my magtek bullet. Not yet ready to give 5 stars until I work with it some more. Thanks for releasing a good fix!

Having Pin problems.

Its not working with the latest version of jelly bean 4.2

Still will not work with galaxy note 2. And the wont give me the swiped rate. This is after they sold me the magtek bullet. When I asked why they charged for a reader when square gives you one for free, they said cause there service was so much better. So they sold me a swipe reader I cant use till they fix and theyre taking there time fixing it. Why not I suppose, they make more money on keyed entry transactions so no rush to fix, right ?

This is ridiculous that this app does not work with the Best Android phone, The Samsung Galaxy S3 or my Asus Transformer Tablet. Costco should consider a new company to process their cards. I called customer no service and they said they do not have a solution, he basically said to manually input all transactions. If they are willing the give me the same rate fine, but the rate triples when imputed manually. We have been using Costco for over 8 years now. We will be looking elsewhere for our Credit Card Processing unless the immediately come up with a solution. We use this daily for our Electrical Contracting Company.

Have a brand new Samsung Galaxy S3 and it does not work, called Elavon and received no help and no assurance thi it will ever work, I also have a Asus Transformer tablet and its not supported. It used to work on old EVO. Fix or we are gone. We have up to 6 transactions a day for our business. Costco should consider a new company. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! NO SOLUTION. The guy says to key it in manually, If that's the case I would need their crappy app.

Works great once configured. When paired with swiped, it saves 1.5% on every transaction.

Does not work on Galaxy S3 with Magtek BulleT please fix!
