Works well and is the only app I use to control my trainer, Cycleops Hammer. It is very reliable as long as i have good wifi. It acts a little wonky when my internet connection is down or very slow, but that is rare for me. Seems to be designed and marketed at competitive cyclists but the are enough easy options to keep it interesting. I'm just trying to keep my weight down, not racing. I use it 5 or more days a week.

Contacted support, which had little to offer. The concept is really cool, good job on the UI. Now the feedback to my Tacx Vortex is weird. There's resistance even going downhill. They suggested lowering the bike weight in the app. It improved a little but lowering the "reality level" when in training mode kind of just evened out the resistance, which is not at all what I am looking for. There's also what I'm assuming is inertia when you start pedaling but it's more annoying than realistic. meh

I have installed this on an oldish tablet with Lollipop, and it works. But the video freezing is bugging the hell out of me. The route continues, but video stops, then races, stops again, skips, stops again etc. Not a very virtual experience. I also have the feeling that resistance on my trainer (Tacx Flux) is lighter with Rouvy than in the Tacx Trainer App, but not 100% sure. It also gave me the creeps when I could not retrieve the activity in the app, although later it showed up on the web portal. The video issue should really, really be fixed. How hard can it be to buffer 50 or 100 Mb worth of video in memory so it never stalls?

Fantastic app! Has worked flawlessly, plus quick setup and pairing even on a cheap 10" Android tablet. I recently switched from TrainerRoad which got boring after a while doing only structured workouts. I really like the Rouvy videos and have been able to do a few of my old favorite rides in my garage. The Augmented Reality rides are fun too and help to pass the time quicker. Plus you get the option of structured workouts as well. For the price its a good value.

I've tried all famous indoor trainer apps, but found Rouvy as the best one, hands down. Nice clean UI, tons of features, good integrations with others cloud services. A few minor bugs still can be found in app (sometimes it cannot "unpause" a ride after a stop even though it clearly receives data from the trainer) Keep up the good work, guys!

I love being able to choose my route every day and going to incredibly beautiful places. In the competing product, I felt like I was in the same video game each day. Establishing Bluetooth connections is annoying on most devices, but Rouvy's Ant+ interface with the USB receiver is wonderful. I have contacted Rouvy support by email many times and they have been very responsive considering we are 8 hours apart in time zones. The AR graphics have really improved but could be better

I would give this app 4 stars if I was not paying for it. It has a beta version feel to it with lots of rough edges Some UI elements in black unreadable, regular freeze of the video stream, flaky bluetooth pairing, all of which I can tolerate. The dealbreaker is strava synchronization which from my experience is totally broken must either be fixed or removed, i have tried sending manually on the website Send is successful, whatever that means because none have shown up on strava.

I've been using the app for 6 months on a Samsung Tab A. I use both the video augmented routes and the workouts with no problem. I've ridden exclusively in training mode so I can't comment on using it competitively. I notice other reviewers complain they can't connect to their smart trainer; I haven't found that a problem. I connect using my Wahoo utility app and then Rouvy connects without problem. The app works well for me as an Android user and has the edge over other apps I've tried.

This seems to be the only app that works with my CyclOps 400PRO, or at least the only one I can find that does. Works great, lots of virtual routes to choose from. Unfortunately, my new Samsung doesn't support ANT+, so currently looking for a workaround.

I wish the app worked well, the concept is amazing. The ride physics engine is flawed, a few activities have disappeared, the tells you to move to Rouvy AR which doesn't support Ant+, support tells you to move back to workouts, the updates are way behind schedule, the web login has given me problems and many other issues. In fact nearly everything kinda works but not really. I wish the app just did what it commits to, it doesn't have to be as flashy as some of its competition.

Last year it was working. I tried it again this lockdown, and 2 times my ride was lost(no strava problem, ride was not showing anywhere in my training diary). Contacted support, they were sorry and advised to try another platform. So for s10+ is one star, there is no point in paying if you can't see stats later. Cheers

I can't believe I left Zwift for this...the video is terrible, freezes and does not move the way a bike would. Also, when I attempt to calibrate or update the firmware on my trainer, the app crashes. I'm going to give this a few more tries. I've used both my phone and my laptop and it was terrible on both.

Been a paid member for a while now. Upgraded to premium plan and paired with kinetic rock and roll control. The experience has been terrible. Wattage jumps all the time for workouts and route simulation makes a 20 k ride more like a 40 k effort. Broken app. Tested other products and wattage and simulation run smoothly. Will terminate my subscription effectively if bugs aren't taken care in the next coming weeks.

I use it just for the trainer to see plots of my stats while I ride with Peloton. My one complaint: the scale of the plots is too high and I can't see how to adjust it. I don't need heart rate to go up to 220 or power output to go up to 500W (I wish!). Half the screen is just wasted.

Not good.. App couldn't remember what trainer and device I selected.. did this atleast 12 times for it to remember.. The app only works when the sensor is in 'Speed' not Candence which is what I wanted it for. I'd start a 'Free Ride' under Candence setting and the app would have a pop up showing 'Keep pedaling to resume work out'... but during Speed it worked fine.. from what I could tell.. Sensor came free with my trainer; I can see why it came free.. guess I'll keep searching. Glad it was free

App look a bit dated but it has all the functionality I need. Wish Rouvy merge this app with Rouvy AR quicker. I like the feature of allowing Google Street view for routes without a video. It would be good if Rouvy can improve on the workout display and allow to take snapshot to post to Strava. There are plenty of workout but a training plan feature would be ide to compete with other apps.

What's happened with this app? Long time user with no issues. Last month or so it began crashing while trying to access challenges. This app is better than Rouvy AR for those using an Android phone on the indoor trainer. While I can see a challenge in Rouvy AR you cannot pick the route from the challenge screen. Please support Android better and stay current with system updates that causes features to become broken.

I'm forced to use this to calibrate my Magnus and even that doesn't work half the time. Practically useless and you can't stop it from running in the background, where it constantly crashes and sends a notification. Absolute garbage.

Pat. A. Jan 28, 2020

Ok I like endurance riding and don't get that excited about racing, so this feels very close to an actual ride and I love it. If you want a video game feel, the competitor is more advanced but this is my pick. One tip is to lash out on Apple 4k it has processing speed that the phone can't match albeit you can't link all your sensors like you can here. If you do use the phone you'll need a premium phone my Tab A couldn't cope and SG7 was pretty choppy.

Jon. h. Jan 6, 2021

To be honest, this is me being generous. It's just dull and important metrics such as speed are very difficult to see. The two apps don't sync well and choosing routes is a nightmare. Great concept but poor execution.

Pet. S. May 22, 2020

Feels like one of those apps where developers are so focused on developing the main feature they forget users first have to get to use it. Tried to use my turbo trainer which is not listed - there is no guidance on what to do. Fine. Chose one from Tickr to make the app satisfied. Now it shows my speed sensor. Cool. But also loading spinner. And it spins... and spins... forever. No guidance on what to do either. Please come back when the app is ready to be used.

I love this app. it's taken my indoor training to another level. I've now installed it onto my Samsung s9+ phone so I can stream it to a larger TV but now the resistance isn't working. Is it my phone that doesn't support rouvy I've no idea but I'm very frustrated

Mar. T. Jan 13, 2020

This is day 2 of the 14 day free trial, The best app for indoor cycling training that I have tested so far. I rode in real life one off the alpine routes and the resemblance of the effort needed on the real claim is 99% accurate on the simulation, due to the missing resistance of real life wind and air. The only inconvenience is that few times during the session I lost connection with my Garmin Vector 3 power meter. I already canceled my subscription to Zwift because I like Rouvy more.

P. F. Apr 29, 2020

No option to subscribe through Google play anymore, spends 90% of time looking for trainer or worse powertap pedals so they can't be updated. Great when it works, but frustrating experience most of the time otherwise

Joe. V. Sep 15, 2020

Seldom connects to one of their own (Magnus) trainers, and when the app rarely detects it, it doesn't stay connected for more than a minute. ANT not supported even though it was supposed to be here by now.

Gru. T. Apr 1, 2020

Right, update since using it......I've done a few AR rides, and the visuals are impressive....but this app is a lot of faff on the pc, you need to download all route, so planning is crucial...the resistance feed back as only worked once although it always say controllable is connected....it never connects to my phone....also takes hours to upload activities....also there seems to be no social aspect to it like Zwift and RGT i.e. not chat function during rides .....

Eri. B. Oct 14, 2018

Will not stay connected to Bluetooth, also won't remember my Hammer once it's been connected. Super difficult to get the Bluetooth to connect and take. I have a Hammer w the latest firmware as well as a Pixel running the latest 9.0

Ben. S. Feb 11, 2021

Will not stay connected to my Kinetic rock and roll control on any of my phone's, iphone or Android. The AR routes works fine, but this app crashes and has constant calibrating errors. Use AR routes instead, its awesome.
