Virus War - Space Shooting Game

Simple and fun at first. Challenge level increases over time as expected. The game has a built in ad watching for rewards system like most free to play games these days. Gives you increased rewards so you can upgrade your ship a bit more. Problem is for the past week the ad system doesn't work. Also the ship upgrade levels is ridiculous. The max upgrade level is 27000+ and you HAVE to upgrade one at a time. So to hit max level you have to tap that upgrade button 27000+ times!?!?

Addicting but too many ads. Worth buying the full game if you like it. Wish it had different tiers for cheaper purchase Edit: Bought full version and nothing but the shooter was promised. Hate that there is only two daily coin frenzies a day. Should allow to buy the frenzies. Cancelled my purchase. I'm updated all the way and there is no ranking system in place.

A great time consumer and a very enjoyable experience, found the game a stellar gameplay looper and always has varied content. It also has a perfect balance with advertisements and gameplay, with explorable content to keep you playing for long periods of time, one could also remark the developer's genius.

Honestly, this game is great. I haven't spent one cent on this game, and it makes it so easy to level up without having to do so. Ads are not spammed, and you can skip after 5 seconds. I've played for over a year now, and there is a reason why. Mostly being, you don't have to pay to play. You can watch 30 sec. Ads to get energy, and they have the other lvls to play for extra coins to lvl up.

It seems like there is an issue with some of the ads. More specifically, the Tower Color ad doesn't seem to work correctly. Every time I try to revive myself or get diamonds, etc. and this ad is the required ad to watch, I watch it till the timer runs out and an "X" appears in the top right corner of my Google Pixel 3. However, after watching the ad and clicking the "X", I always get a "Please watch till the end" message, regardless of how much time I allow to lapse. Other than that, I really enjoy the game a lot. I am currently on Level 184.

Overall this is a good game, and worth the download. However, there are two problems for me that will likely get it uninstalled... 1) The levels are very short, often only 10-15 seconds long, so I spend a lot of time in rewards, menus and ads compared to gameplay 2) There are ads that play when you didn't choose to watch an ad. I understand the game needs ads, and I happily watch them for extra gold or diamonds, but every few levels it just forces an ad, even if you choose not to watch one.

The goal of most mobile games is to get as much screen time as possible. Most do it by quick dopamine hits. This one does it by being an actually good game! The ads aren't too intrusive to the gameplay, and the gameplay itself is challenging and engaging. The on-rails 2d shooter genre doesn't get enough service in modern times, and I'm glad to see that this one respects the long heritage of the genre!

Gameplay is actually quite fun and smooth but there is a HUGE problem with the game. This is the whole game, 1. Spend 10 seconds upgrading your ship. 2. Spend 15-20 seconds playing the next level. 3. Spend 30 seconds watching an add to get a usable amount of coins. 4. Spend 10 seconds upgrading your ship. 5. Rinse repeat. To top it off they want me to pay $7.99 per month for membership which wont even get rid of the adds, it just makes them have bigger bonuses. NO THANKS!

Game is fun. I'm currently on level 556. Upgrading everything. But I use ads to increase bonuses all the time. When it allows me too. Right now, I'm trying to click on the daily bonus and it says "please wait a sec". It's maxed out. Won't let me continue either. Almost like it's no signal but I'm on home wifi with stable connection and very fast internet. Makes no sense and it's frustrating. What makes it worse is that I can't see any ads. Worse, you ask? Yea. I don't get more coins.

Very enjoyable. No a lot to figure out just straight ahead shoot em up fun. Update Mar 6, 2020: I' m very annoyed with the new advertising method. Used to be I could choose to watch ads and get 3x the points at the end of a round or just accept the points without the multipler and not have to watch any ads. Now either way I end up having to watch an ad to get any points. Time to go play the other space-invader-type apps.

The game is COMPLETELY rigged. There are glitches that make you loose, and a rediculous amount of ads. Not to mention that I made it to level 180 on my previous phone, and there was absolutely NO WAY to save progress in the game to retrieve from new phone! I am so disappointed because the concept was really cool. Game would be more fun if it wasn't completed rigged to make you loose all your progress and make it impossible to win. Only way to make progress in game is to stop playing for a while

It was fun. Until they changed their ads policy. Some ads are enforced and I normally delete such apps from my phone, that enforced ads. I don't mind watching ads for bonuses or powerups but if it happens when I didn't opt for it, then this is a huge turn off for me. Edit: you guys need to fix the ads issue. Sometimes even after watching an ad, the bonus isn't even applied. 2nd edit: another forced AD when I didn't choose any bonus or revive. App deleted.

Game started out fun, but then became the worst app I have ever played. Game would always glitch and you would not get your rewards ever. As well, while playing in the advanced mode where you can only play twice, it would not give you the advanced rewards you earned. I played for 103 seconds one round and the next they would make it so hard that I could not make it past 15 seconds. And you had to watch an ad for every single reward you already earned. Save yourself and skip this app.

Fun game. This is my go to game to kill time or stress relief. I have the membership which is cheap and paid to get rid of the ads which was so worth it because I can just play straight through now without the ads. People complain about ads but all "free" games are going to have ads if you want to play for "free". U pay with your time. "Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't own it, but you can use it. You can't keep it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it you can never get it back".

I really like the concept of the game, i have had no technical issues however im not a fan of the energy system. You have to have so much energy to replay a level. The only time you get diamonds for energy is when you pass a level or a certain amount of time goes by and it recharges by itself. This is fine at first but once you get into the higher levels you have to wait awhile before energy recharges. IMO should be endless tries. Other than that great game.

Decent game but still needs work. A truly endless mode (unlimited plays daily) with progressive increases in difficulty would be great. Another issue is that if you're playing the stages it's hard to earn any money for upgrades despite the fact that I've bought the paid subscription and can multiply earnings 4X. I would also like to see the powerups last for the entire stage instead of only like 30 seconds.

Uninstalled, it kept freezing right at the start, before I got to do anything. It said "Swipe to Play" or something similar but, ehh, no, I couldn't swipe anything, it just froze up. Tried to force closed but when I try to play it again it's still freezing. Good news is that I can play it when I open another game and it shows a playable ad for this game.
