Stopped working in early 2020. "An error occurred", will calculate based on the exchange rate of that date. Does not find ATMs anymore. Tapping refresh results in the same error. Deleting all data now left me stuck at the TOS screen. Was fine, now useless & uninstalled.
visa has an atm locator webpage, but when it comes to the atm locator within this app, it's useless and worthless. it gives an error before i even bother trying to search. and i figure i would just scroll as needed through map view. nope. no atms showing at the map at all. tried list view. nope. still nothing there. what a waste.
Doesn't Work. It installed fine, but everything I try just comes up with an unknown error. So much potential and would have been handy abroad, but rendered useless. For reference, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and have no single or service issues.
It appears that Android 10 breaks the app. It has been unable to update the exchange rate since I installed Android 10 in the summer of 2019. Still true as of Oct 7 2019. Getting the Visa exchange rate use to work well, but the find ATMs was always useless. Now, it's all useless.
How can I write a review when I can't even install the app. I clicked install and it came up with the usual App will be installed. The app page says it is installed. However, My Apps doen't include it and it never arrived on my phone, so I can't uninstall and try again. If I try, it says I have no device since it insists that it is installed on my phone.
App is completely useless, but isn't taken down. Incomprehensible and amateurish. ATM locator stopped working a while ago, the Currency exchanger is stuck somewhere in May '19 with its exchange rate and refuses to update. However there is no notification about this. Absolute disgrace for a company this size.
Used to find the currency converter useful when travelling to know the actual card rate but these days the app just keeps crashing or reporting errors. Uninstall /reinstall does not help.
Doesn't work. Have tried to use on 2 devices and both fail to work. Currency converter and ATM locator just error out with 'unknown error'. Dont waste your time installing.
Will not show currency exchange rates, keeps saying unknown error. Uninstalled and reinstalled but still same errors, such a waste could be really useful if sorted out
Permanently showing unknown error. Have uninstalled until this is fixed as it struggles to change between currencies. Should be better! ATM map not great.
After taking forever to make at least some parts of the app usable, the ATM Locator refuses to work. But at least the Currency Converter works, which is the main reason I wanted this app.
This app has huge potential should be 5 stars!! I always get Unknown Error!! Update 4th May 2020 still not working Please fix this it is a great idea I love the currency converter and atm locator for when overseas.
Exchange rates in currency convertor are way out, error message always seen unknown error!! needs fixing for real time rates, useless as it is now.
Impossible to customize favorite currency: if you are not interested in GBP or USD but a country in the middle of the list you have to scroll down again and again every time you open the app.
From the get go the app isn't working! Refresh refresh refresh! Sorry but within 3 minutes of downloading the app I'm about to delete!
Broken since the 29th June - cannot retrieve exchange rates. Also no one seems to give a toss as developers havent resolved or been in touch. Reported and still broken - clearly they dont give a toss
The app doesn't work at all on OnePlus 6T. Asks for the access permissions even after access had been granted. Useless!
This app used to be really helpful but since I have tried to reinstall it on new device the app will not work it just comes up with an error message. Now useless
The main functions do not work at all on lg g6 / android 8.0 : cannot fetch data, unknown error. the offers and travel guide work though...
It was working great until recently. Visa seems to prevent people to know its exchange rates easily. They have much wider bid-ask spread now.
this app use to be great for seeing what rate yoy would get from your VISA ATM card, but it seems like they stopped supporting the app a year ago and now its broken.
Visa should remove this app. It simply doesn't work, it just gives an error. I wish I'd read the reviews first as this problem seems to have been there quite a while.
Unknown error when it tries to load anything in the app and thus completely useless. Using a Nokia 7 Plus with Android 9.
The App has stopped updating, so I'm getting the exchange rate for three months ago, which makes the app useless.

"Unknown error" means the app just won't work. Very annoying

This app needs sorting big time. Unreliable and inaccurate. Not worth having really.
Useless. Error message displayed every time I try to use it. It was useful in the past but I'm now uninstalling. I have again tried to install this, but after six months of waiting for a solution, the app still doesn't work. I would thus give zero stars if it were possible.
