Unless you're sure you want to pay for the full version save yourself the time and frustration and don't bother with this app. The free version only gives you about a quarter of your reading, just a short overview - a teaser - with instructions to upgrade to the paid version to learn the challenges and to see the future hexagram. Then there appears to be no way to close the app short of restarting your phone. A waste of time.
I paid for this app on my Kindle tablet which I don't have anymore and I don't want to pay again and there isn't an option to sign into my Amazon account on here! So frustrating! The app is not worth the money to begin with. There's not enough of an explanation and it's kinda confusing. I might as well do my coins and my actual book.
I really like this app. I paid for the better version and its way better, goes in depth more on the readings. The wording is kind of tricky to understand and i have to reread paragraphs to fully understand it completely sometimes, but maybe thats good because it gets a person thinking and deeper into thought. But i love Iching, and this version is a favorite of the Iching apps, if you get the paid version!
The app is nice and the cards are lovely. Downside is I would like to toss the coins myself and input the line that was tossed in the Hexagram personally rather than a computer generated one for me. If you could do that then it would be amazing. Because you can't it's just ok
I find it quite accurate at addressing things I'm going through not necessarily answering the question but maybe showing me what I need. it would be good if after reading you could add personal notes, as then I can add what aspect of my life it was talking about and not the question. also if you can star them as important.
Super helpful and interpretations are well thought out. I do dig deeper with my own books, but this is very convenient when I find myself in need of guidance on the go.
Paul O'Brien has done an awesome job of updating the I Ching! I used to use the old version many years ago but stopped because it was too difficult to work through the stuff patriarchal language. Now it feels like a good friend has returned to me and I'm thrilled.
Very intelligently designed to include an interface between the seeker and the hexagrams. The clear and concise explanations of the hexagrams make it easy for one to interpret the meanings. Thanks for an awesome app!
Most excellent way to 'toss the coins' and helpful for travel when you don't want to take the entire rig for readings. Beautiful pictures for each hexagram enhance their meaning and impact.
I liked this App and bought full version. However since upgrading phone it has reverted back to basic free version and requests to pay again! Still can't transfer to new phone - or repurchase it either
By far the best app available for divination. Accurate readings that are helpful and give indepth guidance. App allows readings to be saved. No annoying ads.
App puts my mind partially at ease; and partially at odds with itself.onlin I-Ching provides comfort & clarity. Predominatly offering the positive side (of sometimes painful unquestionable truths), there's an unmistakable balance of yin and yang at work. Hgh intellect (combined w/ excellent writing) opens up decision making blocks & simplifies life's challenges. Always encouraging deeper thought, it provides alternate perspectives. A guiide to appreciate. I'd be a much lesser person w/o it.
I enjoy playing with this app! Artistic and practical! Even I use the free version. Because it's all about what's happening now and Visionary I Ching has been giving me helpful insights! Have fun with it.
The paintings add depth and the poetic phrasing strikes the right chords at their proper time. Definitely worth paying for the full version.

Good translation of actual I ching verses in the i ching. I used to do the actual throwing of the coins. It was sometimes difficult to translate the poetry. This was accurate for me today and answered my needs well. Perfectly answered my needs. Very good app. Thanks.

Although I iove the art work and interpretations, I am having difficulty sharing it via email, as it tells me to check my connection which works fine. Do hope developer will correct this. The accompanying book is available as an ebook too.
The pictures are outstanding and the hexagram interpretations are new and fresh. Wilhelm's translations are good... They're also dry and academic.

It was confusing in the beginning to understand the meaning of the cards in regards to the question and took a fair amount of pondering. But as I grew accustomed to them they have given me many deeply thoughtful insights.
every time I open the app it asks for me to rate it, despite the fact i have repeatedly clicked the "do not ask again" option. the app is nice but i dislike being coerced thru belligerent disregard.

Nicely designed app. I wish the lookup table had active links to the hexagrams rather than having to flip through them all to find a particular one. The serious user may still want to refer to a good book for the original judgments and statements, etc. The approach here seems to be semi-interpretive, which may be helpful, but could also be misleading. The artwork is inspiring.
