I think it's a great app..but the visuals are not clear when the story is automated..I wish the text could be smaller and the images could be bigger..since the children on the spectrum are great visual learners..clear images will really help them a lot.
downloaded to try so could recommend to parents. unfortunately all the potentially useful features are locked a short trial period of a week or fortnight would help to be able decide if its useful but as it is the free features are very American and not appropriate for the children I work with.
Great at making visual social stories, adding photos and voice cues. Downfall is that you cant login and share your stories on multiple devices. I have installed on my phone for on the go use, and on my sons tablet for home use, but have to create stories twice as they dont sync together.
I began using this, and I stopped after 5 minutes. Most of the photos I added had their colors distorted when I added them. Worse yet, the app made that photo override the original in my gallery somehow, so I ended up losing several photos in the process.
Give 0 stars, limited to edit, useless for free version since not much you can do, good concept but since you very limited on fixing a schedule wouldn't even be worth a buy. Pretty much a waste of time and effort, practically useless, do yourself and download a diffrent app, can find better ones for free.
Cluttered with schedules that are irrelevant and locked behind a paywall, and you have to pay to be able to even delete them. I get having functionality behind a paywall, but this makes the free version unusable for clients who get distracted/frustrated by the locked stories.
This app has potential. It is limited. Parents need access to pictures of a variety of individual task. You can upload your own picture which for some tasks like putting on shoes a child would recognize and maybe even relate better, howerever having the caricatures shoes would be more universally effective. If there were options and acess to unlimited art (different foods, clothes, places) for the variety of topics autism has. I would pay for it in a heartbeat. It has potential.
For my son with Down Syndrome this is amazing. The first then makes transitions smoother. I can create my own schedules and help break down steps that are challenging. I love how you can create your own social stories too!!
I really like the app and have purchased the premium version but I'm having issues with the limited characters allowed in the Title when creating customised social stories. Please help / fix. TIA
I was able to access parent/teacher mode after my upgrade kicked in. I created a schedule for my student who likes it very much. It is turning out to be very helpful.
Dont waste your time. App should be free to help people with Autism and those who support them. Only two school related stories are free, the rest you have to buy. If the creators cared about people, they would sell ads instead of extorting parents of special needs children
The App is so much Interesting ... Love the concept and ability to customize Stories and Schedules. (y)
Not happy with this app at all very limited even on the full version would not recommend requested a refund to the app developer waiting for a response
They promise that app has print option for schedules and stories but i cannot find it.
Won't open, crashes at app home screen.
It seems to me that you only want to make money, not help people.
This app is expensive and is not very user friendly. When you "create your own" schedules or stories you can ONLY use videos. No pictures. They don't have their own gallery of photos to choose from either. So you have to find your own. But again, photos don't work. Only videos. I wish I could get my money back.
I am 13 and I work with a family who has two special needs children, and the girl I can understand but the boy it is a little more difficult at times. It is hard for him to talk so I got this and it works great. It also helps me at times with my severe ADHD. THANK YOU. The one thing I wish was better is the money.
It only gave me two social stories and two schedules the rest were locked that is the worst Autism apps that I've ever had
It's the only pic sched app I could find for my not autistic 2 y/o to help with transitions. I bought the full version and liked that i could make my own sched using real pics. No instructions on features, no faq or help and as we go through the routine it ends inappropriately or we have to start from scratch every time my phone falls asleep between steps. Feel there's a lot of common sense missing from a good idea.
Its good app! but you have to buy most of them And it won't tell me how much it is to buy the whole thing?
Excellent App!! Recommend for any Autistic child 😍👍👍👍👍
Learn with fun , spectacular app for childrens. Highly appericiated and recommended for all parents. Looking forward for more apps . My best wishes with you. Once again thanks alot .
This is great way to educate children (specially the ones with autism), they love the look and feel and also didn’t get bored as it’s like a game, Wonderful App.
Lovely App ... Highly recommend
Bought it and after 15mins with the full version deleted and refund requested. I attempted to make my own schedule using photos I took myself while adding steps. Most wouldn't save :( Next I tried to change an image using one of the stock images, saved. That one kept reverting also. Recorded audio, but where does that play? Lastly, I couldn't rearrange the order of the steps for a schedule. 15 mins of trying and failing I realized I can probably do the same thing with PowerPoint.
