Visual Voice-mail is down, same everyone else detected new Sims card. I've had same Sims and number since 2016. Call 611 to get help with this voice-mail issue. They lady was sweet but wanted me to Uninstall and reinstall app them remove and insert Sims card again. Nothing has worked. Update did not fix a bug, IT CAUSED A BUG! Please fix this issue. People don't always have the time to pick up phone and call voice-mail, but are able to look real quick and read a voice-mail. Do better Metro!
What happened? This has worked fine on my phone for a few years now. I have the same phone, same sim card etc as I did over the last several years. I go into the app to "see" my voicemail and it won't let me saying that it detected a new sim card & they're trying to verify it & I can do nothing but close out the app. I haven't changed my phone OR sim card in years so why is this doing this? It's a bug because nothing on my end has changed. Please fix this asap. I pay extra for this & need it.
Since the 5/13/22 update the program is useless. Opens up with an error msg that can only be fixed by reinstalling it and/or deleting cache, however, once reopened it errors again. Very frustrating. Support is no help.
App used to work fine now I'm getting a stupid error message just saying we found a new SIM card!?!! Is going on here I've had this app for 9 years now I can't use visual voicemail like what are we doing here trying to force me to go to 5G like this is crazy man! Not cool as I run a business and need to answer my voicemails and on top of that! I'm so used to using visual voicemail that when I go to login and hear my passwords like it's 1987 again and my pages went off smfh it says error wPW!?
not working! every time I open it it says we have detected new SIM card we are activating we will let you know when it's ready. this is after using it for 2 years with no problem.
Strange notice about new sim card detected. I've had the same sim card for over 2 years. This notice makes visual voicemail unusable. Please fix this bug.
Every time I go to check my VV it tells me "to check back" and that it has detected a new SIM card. That last part is incorrect BTW. I just noticed there was a new update so, I'm assuming that is what's causing this error. How do I fix this?
The May 2022 Update broke app. It now thinks I have a new sim card, and never get past that message. I don't have new sim card. Tried uninstall/reinstall, but still get message about new sim card. NEEDS FIXING!
It normally is a good app but today all it does is say that it's detecting a new sim and needs to verify it to activate my service...I've been using the same sim for 5 years on 3 phones and didn't change it overnight!
I have updated, uninstalled and reinstalled and ny voicemail keeps syaing it detected a new sim card. This sim card is the same card I had before. I'm not able to access this when I should be able to.

The latest update to this app 100% broke it. No longer works at all! It worked fine until now...
Ever since the update I can't view the app. It says new sim card detected and we are confirming your account. Please check back soon. Idk 🤷🏻♂️
Usually works great and I love it right now I can't get in cuz it says it's detecting a new SIM card I don't know what I mean and then it closes out
New update is horrible!!! Why?!!! You can't share, forward a voice-mail! The app is useless 😒
Same issue as Melissa Grant \l/ was great before the update... it's useless now I'm just going to delete this app
Convenient in some ways because you can delete VM without calling. On down side We can't hear anything when we play a message through this app and the volume is at max. The only thing I use it for is deleting junk messages without having to call voice mail. ADDITION Volume issue was fixed by an upgrade a while ago.
I wish that you had a dark mode for ease of reading not only because of vision issues I had developed but the print that is supposed to look black looks medium to light gray. But the fact that people with dyslexia have an easier time with white on black. And I do have it. And I have found that I have an easier time with it. Plus I also with that you also allowed for to adjust text size and font style that to best meet easy of reading. I have found that It is also harder to read small print.
Does anyone else have problems with this nonsense app? It's labeled a "Visual Voicemail", but all it does is behave like regular voicemail, no "visual" at all. And the person leaving the message their voice is so low and muted even with the volume up and the external speaker on? This is a "mandatory app" with MetroPCS phones, but can I install something that works? I have my enhanced settings turned on in this app including the "visual voicemail", but all it does is record a voicemail.
App was working flawlessly then they so called fixed bugs with the update but it only messed everything up
It does not show the messages, i have to call in to hear my messages
Fails to sync after I read & delete voicemails IF I'm connected via wifi, which results in those deleted messages popping up later as unread. However, if I disable wifi and only rely on my data connection, there is no error and the app works fine. It's a hassle having to disable wifi just to have this single app work properly. I've never had this problem with previous carriers and their voicemail apps. Please fix this annoying bug.
I have been a Metro PCS customer for many years, and have used Visual Voicemail. it has been fine. Suddenly this week each time I tried to update my voicemails, I kept getting a "cannot connect" message. I knew I had new voicemails, since there were incoming call records. i uninstalled, then reinstalled the app. I was able to update my VMs. But now there is a "new voicemail" notification on my phone. I cannot get rid of it. Even restarted the phone.
I am unable to access my visual voice. It states "we detected a new SIM card, checking your account status". I have had the same SIM card for years. I did speak with a sweet helpful woman. I did everything "uninstall & install" app; removed SIM card and re-inserted, but Visual voice mail, is still not working and still getting the error window. Very frustrating, because I need it to view/hear voice messages from my Medical team. Metro Please fix the problem!!!
