Visual Voicemail Plus

I purchased an unlocked phone and ATT would not allow the use of their Visual Voicemail on unlocked phones. I really wanted a phone without all the bloatware so I did it anyway. This app is the cure! Installation and setup is really easy as long as you read the popups and go through all of the settings as the developers recommend. So far so good and I would definitely pay for some of the advanced features. You could run your small business through this! FYI... I am using an S9+. GREAT JOB!

Works remarkably well, feature rich, and customizable to boot! Even managed to use less than 6 MB of my phone's storage. Bravo! UPDATE: I have since discovered that there seems to be no way for me to get the forwarded calls to access the service without the caller re-entering my phone number. (Only calls made from my own phone get in automatically. I would try changing the Voicemail number shown in my phone app settings, but it's SIM locked to my carrier's VM number; and they seem to know nothing about changing it.) Still, I know I would be using this app if I could, so it will remain at 5 stars for me.

i absolutely love this app. I live in a rural area with poor phone service. it used to be that someone would have to call and leave a message for me to know that they called, otherwise, that call was just lost. But with this app, it lets me know all my missed calls, plus voicemails. I haven't experienced any glitches in the 2-3 years of using it. I switched from youmail to this app and it was the best decision I made.

Love the service, and it's superior privacy policy. But not the app design. Chaotic GUI, overly complicated layout and harsh colors. Dark mode is a great idea, but too high contrast. Only problem I have with functionality is lack of ability to hide voicemails from blocked callers without deleting them. This would be useful in situations where a known caller (such as an ex-) is harrassing you, and you want to end the interaction temporarily without losing the ability to review the messages later.

After lots of inconsistencies, I deactivated the app. I found I was having missed calls without even being notified or my mailbox had messages in sometimes that I wasn't aware of. Then at times, I would get a stream of backdated notifications. Since deleting the app, I'm still receiving email notifications which I cannot deactivate as I cannot log in and the password recovery 'Fails' when I try it. Avoid this app.

Frustrated, but resolved. When I uninstalled this app (due to high expense of voice to text when i have so few each month.), I tried to follow instructions, but missed that I needed to FIRST deactivate call forwarding. I voiced the concern here, over lack of directions to deactivate. Within an hour or two i received messages allowing me, in a click, to deactivate. Wow. that was fast and awesome response. This app doesnt meet my need, but if it did, I'd be confident with tech support! Thank you.

Ive switched over from an iphone to an android (oneplus 6t) that ATT doesnt carry so this third party app does what I was looking for which was voicemail I can hear without needing to call the number. My biggest problem is the visual design and user interface/experience. Its horribly stuck in the past and its confusing of what Im looking at/for. Please consider bringing a product designer onto the team as this app desparately needs one. Other than that, it does what it needs to do.

i have been using Visual Voicemail Plus since 2014. not being an iPhone user, Verizon did not have visual voicemail included by default within my calling plan. I found Visual Voicemail Plus 4 years ago and it has changed my experience drastically on the Android platform. this service has provided better features and user experience the equivelent VM offerings in iOS or carrier based visual voicemail packages. Horrible I've tried to uninstall the app, still receiving txt messages from the call forwarding. I reinstall the app to only learn that you can not just uninstall it, there is a process you have to go through to completely stop the services. I go through the correct steps to manually remove their services to only get to the end and they tell me they need my credit card to place a one dollar hold on it. That's crazy, I didn't give them my credit card information when I 1st installed service🤬

This was such a frustrating app to use. It made sure I knew HOW to CANCEL before I ever finished signing up. I thought this was strange....but proceeded anyways! Then I couldn't finish registering completely. I signed up, but forwarding my messages never worked after so many failed attempt, and error messages I decided to cancel....but now it won't let me!!!!!! It also warned me if I don't completely cancel correctly my messages will be locked up with them and I won't receive any at all!!!!! I am so flustered I want to cry. I wrote the developer, and got a stock email back ...a basic trouble shooting email. Errrrrr. Beware! What a headache!

Decided to uninstall. Was going to pay for it. Too many monthly fees and too few one time fees turned me off- period. If you have a business, or are a VIP and have lots of money, this may be an attractive VVm solution with its many options. If you were looking to pay a reasonable one-time fee to get the most useful features, forget about it.

Although I wasn't able to use this app due to my carrier, I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to cancel service. A lot of companies make it difficult because they want you to keep their service. PhoneFusion makes it clear right from the getgo and even provide step-by-step instructions. I wish my carrier allowed call forwarding, but thank you nonetheless for your honesty.

great until I needed to change payment forms. I cannot get into the website to change payments. now I've got no voicemail. I tried to contact them multiple times and haven't heard anything back from them. it was great until I had a problem. I'd like to use it again. no such luck for me... still cant log in

This app didn't transcribe voicemails without charging fees.. I canceled it according to the directions (the second time) now whatever junk it left behind has completely shut out my options to get any other app to work... no others can connect correctly... I'm still getting these numerical incomplete texts for all my missed calls, but no data or phone numbers... It ruined my phone!... here are instructions to remove.. Contact your carrier if you are unable to remove call forwarding yourself

i don't like leaving apps running in the background on my phone, it kills the battery that much faster. When you clear this app from the background unless you open it and refresh, you don't get any voicemails or notifications which defeats the whole purpose. uninstalled.

I've been using this app for years. I don't actually use the visual voicemail part of it, so I can't speak about that feature. I've mainly used it to expand the size of my voicemail box, and it works perfectly for that purpose. It was easy to set up and I've never encountered any bugs or issues.

Hands down best voicemail app out there. l tried many and this is number one. The only drawback is l wish it would give more storage..I'd pay for the extra but it's confusing where to go to pay for it in its entirety...otherwise l love the app you won't be disappointed. John

obnoxious. way too many notifications. i just want voicemails, i already get notified for missed calls. now my voicemails are buried among the missed calls and i get emails every time i get a missed call. you can't turn any of this off. i do NOT recommend this app. it is overly complicated

Thus far it works very well. I do not use the transcription service. I may at some point if app continues to work as well as it does for voicemails. 4stars because I am not using all features.

Very happy with the app. But I'm going to uninstall and instead cancel all voice mail services. My phone is very busy and I'm thinking of giving the phone up all together.. heads fried!! But great app all the same

so far so good. I have Cricket. I have their Unlimited high speed plan which includes call forwarding. Im going to call myself and test a few VM. make sure its all good. but as far as set up it told me it was successful. and I do know I have call forwarding.

This is the best voicemail app I've ever used. It allows you to upload your own voicemail greeting; I created a greeting that starts off with the Special Information Tones (those three rising notes/beeps you hear when calling a number that's been disconnected) and using that as my default greeting, the number of spam, scam, and telemarketer calls I get has plummeted. I was getting five or more of these calls per day, despite being on the National DNC list, but not anymore.

This app notified me of, and allowed me to access, voice mail for 3 days and then nothing despite all my efforts with support. I ended up having to cancel having no idea how many voice mails I lost. Very scary app.

I have a Samsung S9. this app would not connect to it with Boost Mobile. the app says to cancel the amount before uninstalling the app, but it works not key me do that. I went to the online website and it didn't recognize my phone number or my password so I could not cancel before I uninstalled so I went ahead and uninstalled anyway. I hope that is all I need to do because it never worked. please advise anything else I need to do at this point.

This company is amazing! So convenient and easy to use. No more wasting time listening to telemarketing voicemails. The customer service is definitely 5 star - courteous, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to help me.

in order to deactivate I have to enter my password which the app refuses to let you do...screams scam,,,,take your invasion off of my phone,,,, so now I tried to send a message to the developer, it sends me an email for lost password.it simply gives you no space to enter it. so then another effort and the help message gets interepereted by a computer, knows I want to cancel and brings me back to the same screen where no password can be entered....its time to report this app!!! get it off my phon

This app is garbage!! I signed up to see if I liked it better. I didn't so I canceled sucessfully. Now when my phone goes to voicemail it says, "This phone number is no longer in service." According to my carrier everything is just fine on their end.
