Vitacost

Poorest functionality I've ever witnessed. I tried for 30 minutes to place an order. I've used the app for years, I simply changed phones. Pixel 6 and your app do not get along at all...

Frustrating first order. The app has no border at the top of the screen making certain entries challenging and aesthetics poor. Discount from keyword was inaccurate in the cart. On final screen, full discount took effect. Shipping was no longer free. No button to go back to modify order. After paying, "unexpected error completing." No receipt but cc charges went thru. Called customer service. She said since I ordered as a guest, she couldn't verify the order or help at all. Very, very sad.

This app keeps malfunctioning. I have to log in through a browser instead and that is almost just as bad. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times. It's just awful now. UPDATE 4/22: THE APP IS WORKING GREAT AGAIN! THANK YOU VITACOST!

Pretty easy to use, shop, filter and find promos and coupons. Big variety and info on each item.

The app is more difficult to find items. I prefer the website. It would be a nice feature if I could import my shopping cart from the website. It would give me the ability to use both sites.

The app is terrible! I like Vitacost, but hate the app. Update 04/2022 The app is 100% unusable!!! I just lost my entire shopping cart & I was logged in! Nothing more annoying than searching all the things you want, finally getting ready to place the order and nothing is in the cart! 😫

The app doesn't sync well with the desktop site, so I can't build carts or lists across devices. Other than that, it's a good app.

Vitacost is my number 1 to shop. I usually use the website but the app need serious upgrade and work, it is embarrassing to tell people I know they have amazing products but to use website because app is completely useless. I don't say this to get an apology from them as soon as this is read and they keep doing nothing to fix it. I truly enjoy shopping please it would be helpful to shop and buy through the app.

Loved the app! Been shopping here for many years. The app is trouble-free, clean, easy to use.

I managed to put in an order for a few things, but searching for what I wanted was a bit of a pain. On one query, the results list went absolutely nuts, shrinking then blowing up. On most other queries, the app would start to struggle to the point of not being able to display thumbnails, because the app is essentially a poorly optimized web browser. It did remember who I was, which is convenient but not secure.

Stumbled across and I am happy because my favorite hair shampoo and conditioner is cheaper here than anywhere even from the manufacturer. Plus I can find all my organic, sugar free, high protein and low carb staples at a lower cost than my nearest natural grocery store which is 45 miles. App worked great if you know what you are looking for. So lower prices, no drive, and 4 day free shipping is hands down a win, win!!

Glitchy. Its harder to look for things. Applying filters often starts an unending load process. Searching for things I know are available come up with nothing. And I'm unable to order through the app. I moved and every time I try to change address it takes me back to cart. It's basically unusable. Looks good, though. I'm going back to browser. I have no choice if I want to order.

Very frustrating experience with the App. Not user friendly. Pictures are missing the necessary nutritional panel. Some have it in details but many don't. Every time after a loooong search if I accidentally touch something, instead of backing just one screen, it kicks me all the way to the beginning and I have to start all over again. Very frustrating. Caused me not to order a thing even if initially planned to do so.

Not as good as the browser version of the website. I've been shopping on vitacost a few years. I used the browser because my old phone didn't have the memory for the app. In the app I can't browse a general category like all food without selecting a brand or special feature. Also the thumbnail photos don't load more often than they do, no matter if I'm on data or WiFi with high speed internet. The check out seems easier to edit and adjust quantity and add or remove items.

At least, I was able to do one order with the App. The reason I give it 3 starts is because. It is very difficult to find a product. That I know it is sold in Vitacost. But, the when I did a search with the name of the product. It did not appear. I wish that searching for things were easier. When I was trying to look by category. I pushed one and it stayed thinking forever. Never pulled any foods in that specific category. I tried a different category and same. It is difficult.

It was a bit tough, in the beginning, to get my new credit card entered, as the app kept wanting to use my old CC, and telling me I needed to enter the c code for it. I kept trying to tell it to use the new card, but the app kept going back to the existing card. Since there isn't a way to delete cards or update them, I had a heck of a time, but it finally took the new card info. Administrators, you might want to fix that problem. Other than that minor annoyance, the app was easy to use.

Great easy checkout and access to my list and promo codes. Only problem was that i always order from my list first, then logor new items, and every time I added an item from my list, it went back to the top of my list and I have to scroll down and up and down and attempt to find where I left off on the list. It took much longer, and I doubled ordered things and had to fix the cart several times. I ran out of time and had to time to search for a new thing I was wanting.

Well designed, very intuitive. Great company with a vast inventory of excellent products at very competitive prices. This app produces incorrect searches. It doesn't sync well with the web site. It doesn't execute a REORDER the proper way. I should have just placed orders via the web site. This app has screwed up everything. Have to downgrade the Vitacost experience to just 3-stars. SORRY!

I absolutely love Vitacost, but this app makes it so hard to shop. It is extremely glitchy and slow to respond. It has been that way for such a long time. I don't know if they are trying to improve it. Overall, Vitacost is a great store. I love their variety and how fast they ship. Like really fast! I just hope they make improvements to the app, to make the experience complete.

Terrible app with almost no functionality. Not sure if it is a phone issue (I use a Google Pixel) or an app issue but I will be uninstalling this app shortly. In the More screen of options, I cannot get to my account or order info. In fact the only click option that took me anywhere on that page was Feedback. I placed an order and I could not tell if it was competed or if I was logged in. I will stick with the browser version of this website.

The website and the app are not user friendly Tried shopping from my phone and it jumps around. Went to the laptop, there I have to scroll through everything, can't really get down to a customized list to look at. So I download the app, it's worse! Type in gluten-free I get a blank screen, click on gluten-free I get a blank screen.

It is slow loading but you can find what you need. I prefer the desktop tab

I've had this app for several years but unfortunately over the past year I've had a problem with it not recognizing my email and or password. Keeps telling me: "Invalid email address and/ or password". Enter same info on my desktop with no problem recognizing either one and it works great. Bummer for android usage. App has been deleted. ☹
