Vital ICE In Case of Emergency
EMS and First Responders play a critical role in any life-threatening emergency situation. Any medical information for the patient that can be provided to them upon their arrival increases the odds of a more favorable outcome. Time saves lives, and Vital ICE saves time.
Your confidential medical information is stored only locally on your mobile device, and is not able to be viewed or stored by our company or it's affiliates. Your information will never be shared with any third party organization! (backup to your own Dropbox account is available as a PRO feature)
Vital ICE provides a platform on which to list your (and your dependent's, if applicable) vital medical information, such as blood type, allergies, medications, medial history, ICE contacts, and much more. This information will then be readily available to EMS and other First Responders when they need it most.
Standard features include, but are not limited to:
• Vital medical information and photos for you and up to 8 dependents
• Email your information to any email address (hospital, physician, or other recipient)
• List of emergency (ICE) contacts
• List of physician contacts (as well as pediatricians and OBGYN when applicable)
• First aid protocol for 16 medical emergencies, when medical help is unavailable
• Record and save a voice overview of your medical information, which can further assist EMS
• Call 911 directly within app, saving time in emergency situations
• Sound an audible alarm to alert first responders to your location
• Receive alerts and notices from local first responders (if a participating organization's key code is entered)

Vital ICE has a customized feature that allows first responders and other organizations to link their organization with app users in the area. A unique, 4-digit key code is provided to them, and if entered either during initial setup, (or later via the 'Manage Key Code' section) will allow for valuable local emergency alerts and other important communications to be sent from the participating organization via push notifications. No one will be able to access your information, unless they are actually viewing the app on your device, or in the event you have activated the 'Email My Information' feature and listed their email address as a recipient. The Email My Information feature uses 128-bit SSL encryption when sending your information to any recipient, all behind Amazon's firewalls, so rest assured your information is safe!

I've liked having this app, it's pretty decent but a few recommendations as a Medic myself... Adding a DNR/Full Code option so 1st responders can be aware to look for it would be helpful. Also, not seeing it possible to have this app in view on the lock screen which is pointless especially asking for the phones passcode if you can even access it if someone's phone is locked with a pass, pin, etc. End of the day most ain't looking at your phone for info but gives some peace of mind in a pinch.
TOS requires that phone not be locked so that EMS personnel can access app. That's a no go, so I uninstalled app.
it appeared that this app would be a good obe for me but i couldn't get past the enter code part. if theres a code maybe you shiuld put it in the instructions.

Not satisfied with the function
So you can only use this if you have a sponsor code lol. I'll continue to use my MEDICAL ID (FREE). It works great and dont need a sponsor code
Can't get past "enter key code" since I don't have one. Where are we supposed to get it??? Uninstalling.

Why should anyone need a "sponsor code" to use your app?
It asked for a code, where do I get that????
This the BEST AND MOST ACCURATE APP TO HAVE DURING AN EMERGENCY !!!!! IF YOU HAVE SERIOUS MEDICAL CONDITIONS , SUCH AS MYSELF, THIS IS THE BEST MOST IMPORTANT APP YOU WOULD WANT TO HAVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For people who can't add multiple emergency contacts just use the Emergency group function as well
Inputting birthdates for yourself and dependents is horrible! Instead of being able to type a date, you only have a Calendar picker and must scroll through months and months and months to get to your actual birth year. I'm unistalling as soon as I'm done typing this review.
This is an all-inclusive app that can actually connect to local services when needed the most.
Can only enter two contacts and one ph number for each. I was only able to enter my wife's mobile number and my wife's office number. Not good enough!
I thought I was going to like this app until I reached the point of putting in my meds. If you're meds aren't on the drop down list, you can't add them. Deal breaker for me.
On the TOS agreement I keep getting an error server message.

This App is extremely beneficial and i intend to make my friends and family aware of it's capabilities!
As a diabetic, it gives me piece of mind to have available all my meds, allergies, and health history for access to any first responder in the event of an emergency....
This app will come in useful to anyone in an emergency situation. It's first aid section is quite informative but it can be more helpful if diagrams were to be included in the first aid section. Diagrams showing the "recovery position" for example, would make it easy for anyone trying to move the patient into the recovery position. Will keep this app on me, just incase.

Great life-saving app
Useful and gives piece of mind!
Installed the app due to several health issues. Didn't get to enter any information because they insist on getting permission to access my entire list of contacts. In my opinion, they only need access to my ICE contacts. The app won't let you get past the permission pop-up unless you állow then access to your entire list. Uninstalling & l looking for something less intrusive.
