The platform has interesting shows same as other OTT platforms. Negative thing is, when I use the app on my laptop, even with my account, it doesn't seem to recognize where I stopped watching a show therefore I had to find it manually. It's really a nuisance. This doesn't happened when I use the phone. But then you can't expect us to always use phones. Also it doesn't synchronise with the account on the phone. Please make it more convenient. Thank you for your time.
By far the worst app I've ever downloaded, when I tried to pair it for my smart tv, they give me an unclear direction, there's no pairing option in the mobile app. Also when I tried to cast it, it's connected but unable to play any video. Such a very inconvenience app ever.

The "did you know" part must be removed, it's annoying. Video player must be improved by putting a lot of functions, and it's about time now for the completely new user interface. Beside that, Viu has good content of shows, let's not take that away from you guys.
I swear to god this app it super annoying. It really push user to use the premium. Sorry i know it business but the ads are super annoying, repetitive and many times. It better to use other apps or web unless you got no issue with money. I rarely watch drama so it's quite waste of money to me.
Worst app ever.. Remind me why I never ever found of this app not changing even after years. Slow lagging apps. Both website and android. Also on apps I have premium acc suddenly on website state no premium. Waste more than one hour trying to cast to smart TV and solve login problems. So stupid
I always have problems finding episodes of 7de laan, I pay my bill every month, and still they aren't available ever night when I want to watch them, I email the problems but they don't get resolved, this is ridiculous, you pay for something that you can't even watch.
Absolutely bad, the amount of ads is bad yes, but the fact that the ads can bug out and prevent you from watching is stupid. This app gave me 20 ads in a quarter of a video because it bugged some ads. And all of the ads are 30 seconds long. Dont download this app. It wasted my time and it will waste yours.
The ads is too much! I've seen other apps with ads but no apps have this much of ads for 1 video!!! Watching 1 drama actually took to 3 hours because the ads is so many. I don't have any choice but to watch from viu since there's no other places I could find older running man's episode. It's a bit too much, I don't mind paying but for those who can't afford paying for premium it's just too much. The ads mostly is unskippable.
[1 May 2022] History/Status of whatever I watched/watching are not synchronised across devices I use (unlike VIU's competitors out there!). Not user-friendly. Same goes to VIU on my LG smart TV, totally unstable and not user-friendly.
I had subscribed viu. Unfortunately, the video kept on hang although the Internet connection is good. I have no issue watching Netflix n YouTube but I don't understand why viu is so complicated. Although you are having good drama and movie but the problem still consist what is the point of subscribe it. 😒. I wish I don't need to give one star too. Unfortunately, I can't post my comment if I don't rated it.
I hate your app so much truly. There's always loading issues . I do not appreciate this app to be honest. They have an unnecessary amount of ads in one episode. They replay the ads if you accidentally went out and back into the show. 99% of the ads cannot be skipped. This is just a marketing strategy to pay for premium. But what other choice do I have? All of the soapies that use to appear on YouTube a few minutes after its been on TV, is now on this app.
too many ads. I hate advertising. please remove the ads in these apps. stories are all the best but due to advertisements, the mood to see the story disappears. please remove ads in these apps. pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Is this app will remove 100% of the ads when subs? Coz for some "free app movie stream", their trial only shows 1 or 2 ads before and after each eps. this one is kinda ads infested, 2 ads (15 secs each) and every 10 minutes for the rest of the film durations. also 2 ads at the end of the episode and ads shown by down-scaling the video and shows ads. So i kinda pesimist if by monthly subs will remove all the ads? I have accounts (monthly subs) on Disney+, iQiyi and WeTV, tested their free too.
This app is good. I like it but at the same time i hate it so much. They put 3 ad and all of the ad are really long and keep appearing when i watch a story. I dont mind if it had ad before the video but its always... ALWAYS appear when i wath the video. I understand it want to promote, but disturbing our watching time... Is something that a lot of people hate. its start to have more and more ad in every episode. Please put less ad or at least give skip ad button for the long video.
why is the app doesn't give respond? everytime i try to scroll, or back to the previous page, the screen would freeze, and suddenly close the tab, but when i open the other app there's no problem like this, please fix this asap
pls change the fast forward/backward button to double click so it will be easier to fast forward/backward. other than that, so good so far.
This app doesn't allow you to watch anything. What it does is to make you watch ads, then after goes back to main menu as soon as the ads are done playing
Please let know when new episodes will come out. (for each drama). For example, every Tuesday and Wednesday, so it’s easy for the audiences to know. And after each new episode comes out, inform the audiences that the subtitles that have been selected are available.
Waste of data, never ending ads before each show.ever since I downloaded it,I have never seen one show because it plays 2 long videos & bounce back to the home menu.
Not recommended application. Well, it has a lot of good dramas, but often when I want to watch a downloaded episode, it cannot be opened, it's loading! Why did it still loading when the episode is already downloaded? Weird! What the fuction of downloaded episode if I still need to use internet data to watch it😅
Good and nice application to enjoy watching movies/dramas and other TV shows. Previously, I had a problem in terms of paying the subscription fee, but with the help of the Viu Customer Happiness Officer, the problem was resolved well👍🏻😊
The contents is good but IT'S NOT USER FRIENDLY. It's hard to skip 10s and it can't automatically play the next episode. I have to search for the next episode. Can't skip intro. There are so many complaints on these problems in the reviews. I hope the developers can add these features.
Getting annoyed with this app. Keep crashing. Auto shut down. I am going to Cancel my paid subscription if the minimal service is not available , ie app can open and work as it should! Update TWO YEARS LATER : TEN ADD every 12 to 13 minutes , thereafter auto black out screen and auto restart is simply ridiculous.
This 'not available in your country' issue had been reported by many for months and it is still not resolved. I have premium membership and tried to install the app in a new device but am not allowed to use it. By the way, we are told to 'contact them' via the app - how can we do that when we can't even get past the error screen?
After updating to a new version, the performance is not good. Now no more updates for daily episodes. I've uninstalled and re-installed twice, but the updates for daily episodes always stop for episodes on the day before I open the app. Very annoying you know😤
I don't know if it's just me, I try to watch the older episodes of running man and same life unlike dream, but when I scroll down till the end I can't find some episode that I looking for.. I need go to the website via google and looking for the episode I want and then click it so the episode can show up in the app. I already submit this error via email few times in the past, but until the recent update this issue not solved yet.
Edit: You deleted other options to purchase premium package with no detailed context/info on the app. Long story short, I had to lose money because of that. Already emailed CS for details but nothing can be done. I'm vr dissapointed but what can I do. I hope my critique on the email can be somehow considered for improvement. -- I love to watch movie here but I wish the phone app, browser/desktop app, and the TV app can sync user's history to each other (like the other streaming service apps).
