VIVE remote
If you have trouble connecting your VIVE device to your Android Mobile Phone, please check the following issues;
- Make sure you have the latest version of both the app and android.
- Please check that your Bluetooth is active and the toy is switched on.
- Make sure you give the app permission to use your location, you can do this by following these steps:
1. Go to settings on your android device2. Go to application manager3. Press on the VIVE app4. Press on permissions5. Activate location
- Please make sure the cache memory of your Mobile Device isn’t full. Clear your cache by following these steps:
1. Press on the bottom left of your phone to open the menu.2. Press on the circle diagram.3. The menu "active applications" will open. Here you press the "stop all" button at the bottom.

Worked great the first time I paired it. Now it finds device and app freezes. Pretty much a waste of money. I expected better....
I sell these...wont even sync to app...cant even use without the app...what a garbage company...last updated 2016...stay away from shots toys... they're shotty.
Have to pretty much put the phone in with the device to maintain a connection... What a gip

Just bought 2 vive toys - thought itd be cool to customise with phone. App cant find them to pair. Followed all the connection info in the app store. Disappointed.
First of all this App is not necessary and you all need to change the operating instructions...I had to go to YouTube to learn how to turn this massager on using the buttons....Now that I know, I am not sure why this App even exists
Will not connect to toy. Deleted and reinstalled twice. No luck. Not happy at all as toys were not cheap!
Very disappointing. Tried to pair device to app numerous times and couldn't even discover it. Cool concept, but you really need to update and fix these issues.
This app doesn't work, it installs and asks you to connect your device to your phone, says it's found a device but the "Connect device" button doesn't work, VIVE get it working, you charge enough for this product, so spent some money on getting the app to work correctly and yes I have the NEA.
Says in packaging that the app works with the product i purchased. But now I'm informed the app does not work with the aki?
Bluetooth fail even with full permissions
I installed the app. It asked for access to contacts, phone, email, camera. I said no to all and it would not connect to the ViVE AKI. I went back and allowed access to all requested applications, but it still never connected to the VIVE. The VIVE Aki never appears in a list of Bluetooth devices. That appears to be the core issue with this application.
This app is bogus. You can't pair it to your device. There are no instructions to do so and the manufacturer just hangs up when you try to call
The instruction book that came with my product states that this app is supposed to work with my toy and it doesn't. At all. It won't connect. Pointless app. Especially considering what I paid. Not happy.

App cannot find the device/does not pair via bluetooth. Using a Samsung Galaxy S8 (android smartphone) to connect with the Vive Shiatsu. Enable Bluetooth on cellular device > Turn on Vive Shiatsu > Open the Vive App > tap "Remote" > no device detected.. ALMOST LIKE THERE IS NOTHING TO CONNECT TO? My phone does not detect the device in it's bluetooth settings so.. Vive needs to work on this product more because as it stands now, this looks like false advertising to me.
