VMPK for Android Free

VMPK (Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard) is a MIDI Controller emulated by software. It produces MIDI events, which can be received by other compatible devices like MIDI Synthesizers to produce sound. This application already includes a MIDI Synthesizer, in addition to a mechanism for transmitting MIDI events by the network that can be received by computers connected to your local network, using either Ethernet or Wireless interfaces.

It doesn't support USB midi devices attached to the USB otg port

I'm reading this will send midi information, but I'm guessing only through Wi-Fi. I have my phone hooked to my PC via a USB cable, but I can not control my PC synthesizer software with it.

It's an excellent app. I use it everyday to identify the scale of the songs I am listening to. Wish that the Android version of Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard, had the "Transpose" function of the Windows 10 version, and showed the transposed key names on the keys.

Porting VMPK from Linux to Android is probably the coolest and most useful music app I've seen yet for the platform. Unlike the many apps I've looked at for less than five minutes, I will actually use this, or at least play with this seriously.
