Awesome, I don't need anymore to jump onto RDP session or via browser to manage vCenter. The console works like a charm. This app is a must on the VMware Sysadmin smartphone. Cons, are missing many configuration items for virtual machines.
Like others said it's graphics interface is ugly as hell but all the functions works ok: migrate, edit cpu/ram/hdd/cdrom/etc, snapshot, vm console. if they will recreate the interface it will definitely be 5+ must have tool.
after phone factory reset, this app is not working after install. prompting licence check error. I have emailed for this issue for support but not getting any help.. Even after your troubleshooting recommendations, I am getting license error Still your support team is not anle to help me.
Very useful app but please add the ability to scale the display - I have a 6" display on my phone but still can't fit hardly anything on it with those huge fonts!
Great idea, but the vm console doesn't work on my Note 10+ . It was very disappointing because the rest of the app works well, but this may be the most critical part of the app and it doesn't work 😬
It seems ok, but I mainly wanted it to clone vms from templates... which you cant do. If that is ever added I would totaly buy this again. It just doesn't have what I need at this time. Still a nice app though.
Used to be good. You cant type properly on VMs anymore which makes it useless. Tried on phone and tablet with same results.
add ability to put host in standby mode and to wakeup host from standby mode?
Great app! PS: can anyone confirm if vm console is working?
Not pretty, but it works with vSphere 6.5.
Simply amazing, thanks!
Life saver! love it!!
Still after many years - basically the only app that can do what I need it to do.👍 Fixed now: The license check is very intrusive. Every time I start the app the license verification fails and I have to retry. For an 1$ app (which is btw worth it) its a bit annoying.
Don't work, this connect to host but commands fails, shutdown host, view vm console
It can connect to my esxi server and list the VM's but can power them on
Feels like a tablet app on a phone. On my Note7, it is barely usable in terms of UX. It will do minor tasks like reboots, snapshots, etc. But remote console never works.
Everything works great except vm console doesn't work on either of our vCenters "VM console connection error. Please rety".
Impressed by boss and almost never use my laptop now for ESXi managent!
Turning off or restarting esxi vm's dies not work
Would be 5 stars if the service could be closed, didn't require internet to load and support for Microsoft rep app
It mainly does what I need it to do but two issues are apparent. First, as mentioned by other reviewers, the app does not close properly. Requires force closing to avoid it running in the background. Second, the console never seem to open, just sits there at loading. Any suggestions?
Great features, horrible design. Needs FC to close application.
Like the app, connects to my dedicated and works as expected. Problem is when your done and disconnect from your server and exit out of the app the app is still running and listed in notifications on my moto-x gen2 xt1096 on android 4.4.4 ..Appears the only way to get it to fully turn off is to restart my phone.. :( ..I will increase rating to 5 stars if you fix it!
The app works well. I can connect to my esxi 5.5 vcenter. The only problem i have is that the notification will not go away. I don't think the app is still running, because it's not in my task manager, but it is annoying to have to reboot to remove the notification.
Stays running even when you exit the app. I guess it's better than nothing, but I really dislike it taking up memory and can if I don't need it running.
Connects and shows status but can't add new vm's to the inventory. When browsing a data store you can't copy/paste files only move. So no cloning on the free esxi.
Possibly the best Android App for managing VMware platform currently. Does not work running under the ART runtime which may be a problem when Android L is launched soon.
I was hoping for a few more features. I was a little disappointed that one cannot create a VM. UI is a bit cramped for a phone, even the Note 3. Perhaps better suited for a tablet.
Waste of money no options no vm console view too much limited
This app may not be the prettiest thing on Android, but it is currently the ONLY app on Android that will do vSphere administration, and it does it very well, especially for the price. Highly recommended for any vSphere admin that hates the web UI and wants a simple to use app that just works.
