Nice app, but you get ads every time you press a button. You can train over the words you've already learned. The words don't get very hard. I've seen all of them before and I was hoping for some I hadn't seen before. Still, it had a nice interface and was easy to use. Free. Good for a younger kid that maybe hasn't breached college level words yet.
It's fun because it's simple to use and asthetically pleasing. I enjoy language/vocabulary apps and continue to use them when they are built like this. Another app I continue to use is Drops, for the same asthetic and ease of use. Free version does have ads, but I wouldn't describe them as disruptive because they occur at the emd of a session.
It's a good app but - I wish I could practice the words I've alredy learned together. - The definition is the same, it could be great to write the same meaning with different words like that you can't say "oh! I remember this definition but not the other, so it's this one" - I'm also disturb about the prononciation. the world is separate by dots for each syllable. I think it is better if only the accentuate syllable is written. As an English learner it's something hard to know.
This app is literally the best thing that happened to me. I'd love to recommend this app on ELA. Also, I happen to be a beginner's teacher on a English Learning Community. And this app gave me a lot of ideas to help my students out. So, thank you very much. I'm learning a lot! Edit; I noticed that it's hard to recognize some of those robotic pronounciations. Can you use real human voice instead? It'll be helpful
Very-well designed app. It deserves distinction regarding the usage of high-quality pictures matching the word definitions sharply. By the way the definitions are clear and easy to understand. I've seen reviews complaining about ads, but there is the paid version with no ads.
Beautiful interface . what an extraordinary application! It's so easy way to fullfill your need along with included features. I can learn and revise all words back of any level. First time i have realised an application a part of my plan and the credit goes to this and only this application. Thanx for your support. :)
I havent played it much yet but so far i enjoy the idea of the app helping people get a larger vocabulary. Ive used both the beginner and advanced sections and I would say there is a decent difference between the two. However I do suggest making the advance words a bit harder, by my personal opinion only. I give my thanks to any app thats educational and not media.
Could use some tiny adjustments, have sent some feedback. Also: What does the low/medium/high mean on the pictures? I try to change it to low/high but nothing seemingly change. Would be beneficial to add an info button of what it really does.
An amazing app but can you please allow us to set the word repetitions to 0 in settings and allow automatic playback of the pronounciation of the words upon display as then someone who knows the words can use it as an excellent app for revision, getting the correct pronunciation every single time with fewer number of taps.
I love it! Its helping me to build my vocabulary a lot. I failed to find a better application that repeats the words, contains picture, built by the assistace of experts, contains daily usable words and has a beautiful layout. I have learnt alot already from it so far, maybe more than 100 words. Thank you FortitudeDevs🌹
This app is helpful at it's best.Not only that it help me to strengthen my vocabulary,it also help me to use certain word in a sentence.Moreover,I am truly satisfied with this app since it is free and really easy to use.However the developers still need to improve certain parts of the app especially the underwhelmingly tons of ads.By the way,this app is really fascinating!
I understand that this app would be helpful for those that have a lower English ability than I do, but I expected better of this app and I haven't learnt a single new word. Please consider adding more advanced vocabulary to this app. Despite this, the app may still be great for other people, just not for me.
Very intuitive design, great methods used for helping one remember words. This app receives a good 4 stars from me. The ads are the issue... although I have 7.49, I'm not prepared to spend that much JUST to remove the ads.
Remarkable! i can't describe how this app helps me in vocab. I have a suggestions, why not add an option to review learned words like a flashcard. This could really help since recalling what you learned will helps retain that memory for longer. Also, maybe adding some more words?
3 stars because ads and etymology missing. It'd be great to know the origin and history of the word too and how it came into being. Ads are okay but the world would love to have no ads. Why not let the users pay to purchase a full as free version?
Really helpful app. I hope there was just an option to increase the words learned rather that just being 5. It was great though. Developers should add some more words to learn every update and some more learning exercises. There is still a room for improvement. :)
Thank You for making this app ! Well, I'm totally not a WESTERNER , and not that fluent in English . But , I hope you can add more features on the explanation on some words . Well , your explanations were simple , and understandable . What I mean is , some words like " EXHIBIT " at Beginner Level , had only the meaning on its VERB FORM . I wish you can add there different meanings like : EXHIBIT Verb : Blablablablabla Noun : Blablablabla . But, you had a great job ! I'm giving 5star!
This app helps me alot but i think you guys should add like a dictionary where we can search a word and get its meaning, like i read books and newspapers and sometimes i don't know a word so it would be great if i could search that word and even add it to favourites so i can revise later.
Excellent and clean UI app among the equivalent junk apps found on the Google Play store. Few suggestions: ▫️ Highlight multiple meanings with examples wherever applicable ▫️Allow to copy/share the vocabulary words at least because it will allow me independent dictionary lookup.
I can see how this would be great for any level of current vocabulary skills. Starts off quite simple but drills the meanings in. It amazes me how often people use words they've heard others use without knowing the actual meaning, or will use a similar sounding word that has a completely different meaning. I'd be terribly embarrased to find out I did that.
Excellent, I use this App for Homeschooling and It's Wonderful. I would recommend giving out the Information to people about the Word Origin and so on. I like the Way you Guys Designed the app to be colorful and minimalistic looking. Good Job Guys and keep up the good work.
I chose advanced vocabulary. The words were not challenging at all, they were words people commonly used. I could not go on to the next word when I wanted to because I had to wait for the timer to expire. It was time wasted with words I knew and used already.
the best part of this app is that meaning of each word is expressed in visuals so that retaining it in the memory is not difficult. examples are also presented in a lucid manner.
i really like the app but would like to recommend something if possible. when you put some words into the "favourites" section there is an option to practice these words right? well can you make this practice to skip the explanations of the words and going straight to connecting word with it's definition?
Instead of using a robot to tell the pronunciation, just use a real human voice to do that. Other words pronunciation of the robot voice are wrong. Please consider this in the future. The flow also, and more words should be added in the future. Thank you. But nice Job.
A great app for improving your vocabulary. i was worried about the ads but they are not as disturbing as i presumed it would be. well built, well done!
Very good app. One thing that is problematic is we have to revise the words every time before taking test. Please omit this or add option to bypass that. Kind Regards
Gud vocab builder but it lacking synonym.I learns faster wth synonym. Moreova,there shld b a way it was programed so as to make it av stages,stages in the sense that it would av daily quizzes,weekly test 2 proved u remember what u learned,and monthly test 2 ensure u av certainly mastered a particular or set of words.Then once all these are done,all masterd words are 2 transfer 2 archived library.if a user choose incorrect word as an answer in any stages,that word should b send back 2 daily quiz.
This is a great app to learn some new words to help boast your vocabulary for whatever the reason you are looking for. 2 suggestions: 1) that the review section for words also have like a quiz section. Instead of reviewing all the words before practicing, just see what you mind can recall. 2) the timer for each word is a bit annoying why not just give the user the ability to flip back and forth between words. Then on the last word they can decide to move onto the repetition to help you remember.
