Vocal Lessons & karaoke singing teacher Vocaberry

I sing very out of tune and this app allows me to give visual feedback to correct me. This is exactly what I needed, and this app has shown me that singing in tune can be learned. I really enjoy singing with this app (which is less the case for my neighbors). Point of improvement : having new music is cool. I would be willing to pay to find news music. I imagine a voting system by putting a few euros on the new music i would like, and as soon as a budget is sufficient, it allows you to create it. A business model to consider.

No experience when starting with this app, and a casual month in I feel like I'm getting there with my first song. The exercises break up the difficulty into bite-size chunks. It adapts to my vocal range and doesn't strain me, even though the original song would. Some bugs/glitches need to be worked out and more songs added (maybe metal? :D ), but there's lots of potential here and I intend to continue my subscription.

Well. I've been really troubled singing any of the for me suggested songs, as they mostly went into more of a bassy voice range, which I definitely could not reach. Other than that it has taught me anything it was rather frustrating to say so, as it was clear, that I couldn't reach 100% at any song I knew (and what is the point in singing a song you don't know?).

It's a great app and would be amazing, but it's just full of bugs. Update: The more I use it the more problems I find. When following the courses, using the auto-next function doesn't save course progress, you have to redo every lesson if you don't open up each lesson individually. From day 3 all the lesson videos have broken links so don't work. Plus lots more problems. Would recommend only after the many bugs are fixed.

The vocal exercises are good and the few songs available cover a few genres and time periods while still being well known songs which makes them interesting and easier to learn. But the app lags and glitches almost constantly and I have not been able to complete all of a song's exercises without the app crashing. The sound is also uncalibrated with the visual and I haven't found an option for manual callibration in the settings.

In the beginning, I recorded my voice but I couldnt get it to save, so all the songs were super low pitched! And, the game takes FOREVER to load. So when I finally accept it is not going to load, I exit off the app, and play a different game. I play for about 30 seconds and it glitchs and somehow my screen is presenting me with this app, after its fully loaded!

Does not pick up pick up pitches correctly, on the songs it kept telling me that I only got 30% of the notes right, to check to make sure I wasn't just a really bad singer. I went and played the song through with my keyboard using the notes and the tempo (which is too slow even when it said it was normal pace) and it only gave the keyboard a 70%. I also ran it through with the original vocals of the singing, the singer only got 60% on his own song.

It looks like it would be pretty great if it picked up my voice at all Edit: I figured out that the app guessed my vocal range completely wrong. It put me way up in the soprano range, but I'm actually in the contralto range. I don't know if that's why, but after I fixed it, it picked my voice up slightly better, but it still only picks it up if I'm singing in falsetto???

Great app! The interface is very clean and you can see a line in which pitch you are singing and boxes of where you should be singing. The videos of her explaining each part are really simple and concise! A suggestion of improvement: make the videos play automatically when the page is loaded! Keep up the good work!

I think it was a good idea, but it was not correctly displayed. First off, it tried to tell me I was a mezzo-soprano based on my speaking voice, so I had to change it manually. Second, the key it picked for all of the songs caused strain on me because it used my speaking voice to determine the pitch I should be, when my voice is a lot lower when I speak. Third, it randomly started my notes lower or higher like I was building and then in the middle make it like I shot up 6 notes then came back.

Really helpful!! Havent found an app as helpful in teaching me to sing. The visuals REALLY help me learn!! Thats the most helpful for me especially since I'm such a visual learner. The training sections are SO helpful. They build you up to the song!Not sure about what all the notes are on the side. Such as, what is note 'H'. I played paino and remember no such note. I got a little confused so I stopped paying attention to them. But I'd love to understand so I can match sound with notes better.

Every time I traspose a song the app stops giving me real time feedback and I need to restart it! Moreover, it keeps crushing! I can't sing three songs in a row without the app stops working! Definitely not worth the money I paid for it, I wish I didn't buy the premium version Update (July 7th 2020): I'm still experiencing the same problems, which of course are not related with the app update!!!!

I don't feel comfortable with this. First lessons should have been about how to protect your voice. Not about being able to sing certain tones. I can get more with some YouTube tutorials than this. It's an important point since if you damage your vocal chords it's for life. I have now an ache in my throat and that never happened with good tutorials on YouTube. Trust me it's not a good idea to download this app.

Freaking incredible. I live to sing but could carry a tune life depended on it. Until now. Just in a day this has been wonderful and satisfying! I'm hitting and hold my notes to some of my favorite songs! Thank you so much! I went for the subscription and will be have some of the best practices and fun! Again, this is truly a life changing app!

Have 3 queries/issues..1. in the learning to sing a song once we move to the next element of the song verse it does not allow us to return to a previous sub exercise 2. In the learning to sing the excercise does not get updated when completed.. have to complete atleast 2 times for the progress to show(by design ?) 3. Learning to sing course the instructor could at least show how to perform the next excercise.. or am I missing something ? Very nice app tho. Better place for bug/feat req ?

I really liked the first lesson, it seemed like it was a really good teacher, there was an issue with one song that I tried "idon'twannabeyouanymore" the lyrics were off a bit on the final product, but other than that it seems to be entertaining, and helpful. Especially if you're looking to train your voice.

I did a few of the lessons i noticed how my voice sounded better BUT i ran out of songs way to easily. The fact that i have to pay is quite annoying but overall this app is ok i would like more newer song selections. This app is very fun and easy to improve your vocal skills. It didnt catch my voice alot but it was good please try to improve that.

I like the app, but 2 ads at the same time is really annoying, specially as you're using earphones for the app, you mute one ad the other keeps playing beneath it, no way to mute the other ad until the top ad finishes playing. Wouldn't mind so much if the 2nd ad played after the 1st one, why do they have to be on top of each other?

I really enjoy it so far, but sometimes the lyrics in songs are on the wrong note in a few songs and the app crashes intensely frequently (approximately every other song, or it would be totally unuseable... right now it just requires a lot of dogged persistence to use).

Amazing!! It really does teach the basics and to a complete begginner, in such an easy smooth way, the first time, after some tries, hitting the right notes its shocking. The ads are super short, not annoying and fair.

Completely changed my view, you now have a larger variety of songs and they aren't all limited to pro users. You are still pushed to buy it because you need the pro to sing the very hard songs. The lessons really do help.

I can't even try the app out because it crashes immediately when I open it. I even uninstalled and re-downloaded it with the same result. I can't even get past the preliminary loading screen with just the Vocaberry logo on it.

Ranges in a vioce make a lot of changes throught out a song , and in this it is expected to be the same in a phrase of the song and that just makes it confusing and when u make ur voices range that low it just sound wrong i mean the whole trying to make ur voice stay in one not makes it look like a game and u just sing to target that and that doesnt rly sound gud but the videos of the songs are good

Whenever I would do my vibrato, it would put it out of the square and said I did it bad. So by doing these lessons to help improve myself, I'm actually going backwards. Also, sometimes the line would cut off randomly or go WAY up or WAY down when I am staying steady.

I love this! I wanted to take lessons but having to sing in front of someone is a bit scary so this takes that part away. It's instant feedback so you'll know when you're making mistakes. This makes learning this skill so easy and fun.
