Voice Changer Mic: Cosplay - use lapel Mic/Speaker
You CANNOT use with apps running on the SAME device (Discord, Skype or game apps). Reason: Android does not allow two apps to use mic at same time - and doesn't allow one app to send audio to another app.
High quality 14-voice voice changer can run in the background, and with screen off:
- Use as low-cost low-latency Noise Gate filter (remove low volume breathing sounds from live Podcasting/Broadcast with/without voice changing). Some voices benefit from Noise Gate as well (Venomous, Exterminator).
- Use with gaming headset with detachable mic, unplug mic and plug AUX to Android device
- PC gaming: Plug AUX from Android to PC line-in port
- PS4 gaming controller: use Android as USB mic (only up to Oreo 8.1), or use Y-splitter/AUX cable
- XBox gaming controller: need Y-splitter/AUX cable
- Cosplay: external speaker, or lapel mic/ext speaker (need Y-splitter)
- Mobile Gaming, Discord, Skype: output to another phone that runs game etc. (need Y-splitter)
- Phone Calls: output to another smart/dumb phone (need Y-splitter)
NOTE: Y-splitter is needed to convert TRS stereo output on AUX from Android headset port to mono input on headset port on PS4/XBox controllers or another phone. For PC line-in port, can just connect AUX cable directly from Android.

Usage
Plug in earphones and click Record (red buttton). Creates file AND outputs on earphones.
Click Live button (mic icon) to only output to earphones (NOT save to file).
Settings - Output Settings - Listen to Recording (Headset) setting is On by default. If headset/earphones are plugged in, it mirrors audio to that (make sure you plug in BEFORE you click Record/Live).
Force output: Sometimes Y-splitter/AUX cable are not recognized as "headset" - so click Settings - Output Settings - Listen to Recording (Always) and turn it On (it is off by default). Now audio will be played even if no headset is plugged in (there will be audio feedback/screeching sound!).

We disavow any and all affiliation with these character voices. They are the property of their respective owners. Using Dark Father, with some voice acting effort, you can mimic a voice that sounds like Darth Vader.
Each voice is individually customizable: You can create entirely new voices by simply adjusting the Pitch and Modulator settings for each voice! For example, you can use the Venomous voice to make a Lion's roar type voice.
Click Reset to reset settings for that voice, or click Settings - Reset Settings to reset everything back to default settings.
Press Speak button to listen to samples that were created with the app. No copyrighted audio samples have been used.

Had some issues getting it activated, but the response to my emails was very prompt and issue got resolved. This is the only app for voice changing I've found that actually works. I needed one for Dark Lord cosplay, so the Dark Father voice changer will work fine for this. Only wish it had a little more nuance in the pitch settings to dial in the tone with more precision.
It's a good start, but the feedback is so bad!, I've even separated the mic and speaker about 10 ft apart and it still echos and feeds back so bad it has to be disconnected to make it stop. Please help if you can.
Not a free app as stated. It's okay, but then they want you to pay for longer clips. I donated, got nothing. Where do i get a free use one. I don't mind ads, I'd just like to be able to use it for cosplay, yet if i have it now the "free trial" only lasts so long.
Really cool app, surprised it doesn't have higher ratings. The instructions and tips for using this with cosplay are super helpful and the voices sound pretty good. Only thing I would suggest is more female voices or a basic pitch adjuster
Pretty cool, I just wish there was more variety. I basically wanted something that functions just like those little toy microphones that make you sound like either a robot or a chipmunk or a grown man or a little girl, but this app is limited to more deep voices. I'm going to try and use this with my dnd group.
Need to go through the instructions. App also requires external devices otherwise it causes a feedback loop. Does suit my needs. Note: App developer is quite responsive. Let me know if you install a feature that kills the feedback loop.
For some reason the app keeps using the built-in microphone on my phone even though i plugged in a microphone via an aux splitter. And there is a weird echo making this unusable for cosplay for me
The app itself is good. But I don't understand how to use the voice changer for discord or anything like that, if you could tell me how it works that would be appreciated thank you.
Can only use for a few days then they ask for money .. then its 10 bucks for there cheapest pay and goes up from there. Low raiting for me because this should be said up front wast of a download.
It's amazing and fun to use I know it's hard to apply new voices in this app so pls add new ones once every month or 2 cause this is really fun thank you🙂
One of the few apps that does live voice modulation well. Obviously this was a labor of love by an avid cosplayer.
This is what happens You record your voice then press speak it doesn't even say what you have recorded. If your gonna do an app like this please make it an actual app where it's not a ripoff
Bad, Make the voices actually sound similar. They are all the same just different tone
I had donated to unlock all paid features and it went through but nothing changed I love the app but kinda feel ripped off
@david anderson. if thats the case maybe try using earbuds so that the speakers are in your ears which dimins up the echo.
Doesnt work it say real time but when it says real time it means record something and even then it does not let you record
the voice changer was good just need more voices and little bit of audio
More voices plz I want to not have to get another app that needs aux and y splitter cause I love to prank pepole like with a glados soundboard ok

Read the other reviews. You'll know why I rated this 1 star. I know, this isn't helpful. In a short version, this is just a scam and trash app.
These voice effects are not in the neighborhood of being accurate which takes the fun out of it.
Great app but i have a question, will i able to use this for cosplaying as Darth Vader? I want to use this for my voice when wearing my helmet and suit, do i need a mini microphone or voice amplifier plugged in to use it?

Not bad, really not bad. The only thing that really gets me with this app is that the majority of voices feel and sound the same, each sounding no different from the last. Now there are a few exceptions with for instance the Venemous voice works well, as well as Rylo Ken if you match your voice to the necessary levels and harshness. So all said, not bad, just a bit bland and little variety.
