Voice to MIDI

This is fun to use, but if you are a serious musician who knows your notes it probably isn't for you. The app picks up extra noise and is not very accurate, leading to funny results. Still, the output is something you could drop into a midi editor and if you are a songwriter, even if the content isn't what you had in mind, you could be inspired by what you have to work with, and it is technically your creation. There are other apps to edit notes anyway. Great app.

Wasn't really accurate enough to use. Any advice on sensitivity settings would be helpful it seemed more accurate when I had a tissue over the microphone! I suspect it's picking up too many external frequencies. Have you dropped this project or is it still ongoing. BRILL IDEA!!!

Not ready for prime time, this app simply doesn't WORK in any sense of the word. I tried humming and whistling several times. They were not even remotely recognisable. Sad really when we can convert speech into text for over 10 years, but can't do this!

I mean, sure I did hear the notes that I sang or whistled, but there were also a ton of other notes that were definitely not sung or whistled. Programs on the PC work fine, was really hoping for a mobile version. Needs more work.

A good idea but I found, after trying it a number if times, that the results sounded far too different from the original sound I put in. Will try again if the app is updated and produces better results. 3 stars.

Ok. Second review and attempt to use it..Do not use VLC to play it. VLC not equipped for midi. However a few more instruments would be great. It's simple and easy to use. Sample use seems to lack extra notes. Maybe if I was a singer it would sound better.

I've tried quite a few audio to midi converters and this is the worst. It seems to just select random notes to convert, no matter what kind of audio you use. Worthless

i LOVE The idea, but the notes just don't work well. I hooked it up with synthesia, and it sounded like a cat hitting random notes on a keyboard, not even remotely close to what I wanted.

It's not very good at recognizing sounds. If you just want to mess around then this app is alright, but it can't be used for actual music creation. I'd say that it has great potential, but the app hasn't been updated since 2016.

It works! I selected piano as an output but the output is guitar. Fix this. And also please add scales so that we dont become out of tune 😅.

says it converts any audio to midi. However, it must not be direct conversion because it only a microphone recorder. Of no value.

This is the one of the best app to make your own music although you don't know how to play any musical instrument. It's like convert your head voice into sound of professional instruments like guitar and many more. Thank you creators of this app. I just love your creation.

Very hit and miss detection while adding random notes for no reason, so unusable for me. It's a pity because I was hoping to promote this app.

Does not work on Chromebook. You can play the MIDI files created with with app using Synthesia, but this app being for phone causes Synthesia to malfunction.

I sang, 3 different melodys, and not one was detected correctly, not even the rythm, this is useless

Not usable, bad note detection, bad bpm detection, constant missing notes.

Created a midi that I couldn't use for the purpose so as of now.. not a fan unfortunately. Have uninstalled.
