VoiceBud by ZVOX app

This app has limited functionality but is sufficient to control the small number of Voice Bud features. Don't pair the voice buds directly to your phone using bluetooth. If you do the app does not recognize them. You must pair them through the app. The battery indicator doesn't seem to be accurate, but over time you will learn how long a battery lasts. Those who complain about the limited functionality of the simple volume and mode controls need to get a life. They are easy and quick to use.

These are the least expensive hearing aids that come with a Bluetooth controller. It works great and everything functions well except the battery level always shows the battery High even though it's not. Additionally the hearing aids have a memory. When you open the battery door at night it remembers all the settings when you close the door in the morning. I $1600 Kirkland's had to be reset each time. On the negative side to takes a while for it to find the Bluetooth earbuds but it always does.

I've used this App with two VoiceBuds for the past six weeks. I have it on a Moto G6 with Android 8.0. To save VoiceBud batteries, the App only connects by blue tooth when I open the App to make adjustments to the VoiceBuds. It usually connects promply and lets me quickly adjust the hearing volume or sound profile. Occasionally it is slow to connect, and I close and restart. I consider the VoiceBuds amazingly effective at their low price. The App is satisfactory.

I have one voice bud for each ear. I downloaded the app and it would only allow me to pick the left ear or the right, not both. Also the app kept crashing. I uninstalled and reinstalled and then it wasn't even recognizing the voice buds. Disappointed in the app but love the aids themselves. Would just be easier if the app worked!

Works OK. I've worn hearing aids for over 15 years. These are my first not dispensed by an audiologist. I love having more control over volume and tone. However, the one missing feature is the ability to tailor the sound with an equalizer. The addition of an equalizer to this app would earn it five stars.

Initially had trouble getting app to connect but an email to the company was answered in a couple of minutes. Two critical pieces of instruction: do not pair with your android bluetooth device, just go straight to the app to connect; and you must allow location access when installing. Hooked right up after that.

I've only used the app for a little while, but so far it works great. I don't know why some people feel it's only good if you can keep continuously connected, because you only need it when you make an adjustment. It's great that such an inexpensive hearing aid can be adjusted without taking it out of your ear. I wonder if some people have trouble with the app because they simply are not that comfortable with the technology.

Buggy app. Frequently does not connect with both ear buds. It would be better if the app indicated which sound mode it was set to and indicated a numerical volume setting. Currently the Voice Bud just beeps when you change a setting.

App USED to work, but no longer. My Bluetooth is connected to the hearing buds, but the app doesn't recognize them. Now the app is useless.

Inconsistent. Sometimes connects to both units, but rarely. Very basic, but would be helpful if it worked.

The app sucks. It plain doesn't work. Soon as it tries to connect it drops them soon as it sees the buds. Probably going to return them because of this. Others complained but yet company doesn't fix the problem. What's this say about the company?

Sucks...no volume level and no mode indicators. Poor presentation. Functions are hard to work with.

Horrible. Maybe... just MAYBE mind you...I can connect to both voicebuds. Like one time out of a hundred. That's not useful folks!

this app continuously drops. It would be useful if it would remain connected. Considering returning the device is because of this crappy app

The Bluetooth app is Abit fiesty. Overall the app and hearing aids are big help and great value.

We got a ZVOX sound bar for my 91 year old dad who has a hearing aid. Apparently this only works for something called ZVOX BUDS?

Finds the earpiece about half the time.
