The website is good but app is bad, I can't upload my voice sample from here, I have to go to the site itself, then what is the meaning of this app. And also for premium it says $500, which is beyond affordable, especially in India where $500 means more than ₹35000 and it is way more, I mean I can get 2 mobile phones or a small voice acting set up. So please reduce it to about $10/$50 and also add a feature to add voice samples from the app itself, then I think you will get lots of +ve reviews.
Voices is a professional platform although this app doesn't help at all. The hiring page is not as current as what you have online, which makes it difficult to stay up to date with jobs on the website. Also, the payment system needs an upgrade, especially since the platform offers services globally and has clients from all around the world — In 2021, PayPal and Cheques are no longer adequate.
app won't even load lol feb19, '20 edit: I re-installed the app with the hopes that your reply about the update would finally let me use it but still, app won't even load. It won't open no matter how many times I click it. It keeps saying "Voices has stopped" lol
I don't understand why my screen goes blank when I try to view a job. If you guys want people to pay for your premium upgrade,why not let them do a few jobs first and then when they have money they can subscribe for your premium upgrade. If it's not free just say so, than put its free for people to register and then face them with an upgrade out the gate. Do better and I will increase the stars
The staff thats supposed to pick the jobs that you would be a really good match for don't seem to really pay attention to what you get graded highly on. I kept getting recommended jobs that weren't a good fit with maybe one or two 60% or higher matches thrown in and I paid for the $499.00 premium a year. I did as much as I could with what I was given, but preference is given to certain talent on this platform no matter how well you do on a demo or how well you match a job. Be known before hand.
I have been a voiceover artist for many years, and while Voices isn't my primary source of business, it is a incredible platform and access is 24/7. It takes patience as there is a lot of very good talent on Voices, but some of the biggest accounts in our market are available for you to audition. This platform is well run and responsive when questions arise.
App stopped allowing me to upload my demos last week. It allows me to record. When I hit confirm, nothing happens. This was a fantastic feature now the app is useless. I am a preimum member.
Website is better than your app and due to unable to contact the client it seems it is such a waste for me. I keeps loosing jobs just because I don't have an option to contact the client. Just for the sake of a BUTTON then now I'm going to uninstall this app for the waste of time and data.
Ridiculously high price options to upgrade to premium. It's extremely hard to even find a job on here without upgrading the account to premium. I wouldn't mind upgrading but not for that price!
The app seems like a good idea, but I don't see any way to apply for jobs. It's just job listings with info on each gig, but there's no apply button. And I don't see any general info on how to apply for jobs. Leaves you hanging.
Only applicable if you are in the US or have a North American accent. Outside of this there are extremely few opportunities. British accents may find more opportunities but as a native Irish person I have yet to land a job after 6 months and over 60 auditions. Will definitely not be renewing my membership after 12 months. I hope this helps others avoid this platform.
Not the best. Downloaded it and registered but only 3 jobs available for me which also requires me to upgrade to premium. So basically it's not free jobs, you have to pay. Whatever is mentioned on YouTube about this app is false advertising.
I want to use this app, but things either don't function or are non-existent. Please make Push Notifications (for matched jobs & msgs.) a priority for the next upgrade. Sorry, but as is, I find no reason to use this app. It could be really helpful if you'd do at least that, thx.
i would love to earn an income from so i could be closer to my family but the save button freezes your system and i cant finish the application. Please help before Thanksgiving! i havent seen them since July and really miss them because they live in a different country and i all want to do is be with my family! i will change my star when app is on par
Too much incomplete app! 1) I cant send message to client in messages section. 2) In job section, all tabs aren't accessible, like files tab is not accessible. 3) Many options are required in app like your web version.
It doesn't let you add your saved files, you have to record with phone mic and that isn't good, put in a feature that lets us add our audio files
No way to edit information on the Google play app. Not very useful for on the go because obviously you need your laptop to do anything. So it's almost completely useless.
Empowering idea, but app definitely needs more functions / interactions. As for business model, may I suggest the app takes a % cut of what we may be potentially paid for because no way am I paying a such a premium to subscribe without a guarantee, and perhaps the premium can be for folks who would like to appear more frequently at the top/ featured vs free members?
All the procedure can be done well but when I press the submit button for mail verification it doesn't submitting it's just showing the same page! Really fed up with it I think it is not applicable in india
App is getting there. The filter function is not working on the app and it needs the sort options that the website has. Please fix this as its been an issue
Great app, absolutely fabulous. But then, we should be able to do something without upgrading to PREMIUM. Maybe through our little, we might eventually upgrade to the PREMIUM.
Hello there, I want to work in this app, but my demos are nit getting uploaded, don't know why? Even, app is not responding well in my Android mobile. As I want to work only through my mobile. Plz help, I tried the helping number, but couldn't connected.
I'm just wondering why there isn't an upload option? I appreciate that there's a record button, but without editing options for that, I don't see myself ever using it. I would love to be able to upload clips I've made on the go.
Could not sign up even tried several times even followed all instructions.first it was showing password must have 8 charaters one uppercase, one lower case, 1 number,one special charater Showing sign up failed : wrong action. Kindly solve my problem.
This just doesn't work. I am not even able to record voices and app stops everytime i try to search for jobs.
Great if you like throwing away 400 dollars to use a job board. If you get lucky enough to get a gig, voices takes at least 20% of that and really isn't transparent about the client's actual budget at all. The app itself is buggy and extremely prone to erasing an audition you just recorded (particularly going from portrait mode to landscape, because the Send button is not visible in portrait; so just when you are ready to send, the whole thing clears). Not worth a dime.
