Service is terrible once you arrive to the airport for your flight. Now they are in forcing covid test to borad a flight when Mexico nor the US are requiring it. Claims its specified on the web page when checked it states not require to travel.
This app is ridiculous. I am unable to check-in online and generate a boarding pass. I continually receive an error message. This has happened in the past, also. Update: After force-stopping the app I was then able to check-in properly and create my boarding pass.
I hate the fact that it forces you to update and the new version is yet worse than the previous one. March 3 update, worse indeed. It does not find your reservations nor does it let you log in claiming "an unexpected error".
I'm trying to add a pet on board on my flight back and they said it's not possible because I already took the first flight. They never answer my phone calls either, horrible customer service. Never traveling with them ever again
I hate that it updated & somehow started charging me TUA on my flights. I used to get away w/o paying those fees lol. For every1 who can't check-in due to error, it usually means that ur flight is overbooked & there aren't seats available. One way to tell is choosing to select your flights just so you see how many seats are available. This happened to me & it's cuz my flights get overbooked so they'll change my flight for fee. The app works fine. Volaris not gr8 like it used to be. 7yr customer
Everything, from design to ease of use is bad with this app. I've logged on infinite times, entered my reservation details, and every time I close and reopen the app it forgot my itineraries and have to enter them again. Useless app imo.
I bought 2 tickets through the app after multiple attempts I finally was able to. Got to the airport at midnight for our flight only to realize it was for the following year. It is so glitchy and unreliable, just like the airline itself.
It logs me out with every update. Fix that UX team,. Also my payment options expired and there is no option to delete or update them. So I dropped my rating to a 2. Horrible app.
Bunch of crooks. Bought a ticket and this app never let me check in. Went to the airport expecting a simple fix and encountered bad customer service rejecting me and accusing me of not using the app properly. This was after 5 hours. Of sitting in line watching my plane depart without me. Once I did get to fly my luggage showed up missing Christmas gifts. NEVER AGAIN WILL I FLY WITH THEM. CHEAP COMES WITH A PRICE
Poor app..broken links when checking in. Had to use a laptop. Lack of information and clarity when things go wrong. My Volaris flight was delayed 7 hours and no compensation. It's a cheap airline in every way .
personally i completely desagree with people with not patience at all as a customer it really upsets me volaris personal can't answer a simple question to elderly people. very very unpleasant feeling
Terrible lay out. Clicking on something works half the time. The site was set up to get every last penny from you. The app crashes or just stops working on my phone everytime. I usually have to call the airline to complete a ticket purchase. Why can't you list the days flights are available to your destination instead of us having to check each day until we find an available flight. So aggravating trying to use this app. Worst airline app I've ever used.
It's bad. It's really really terrible. it's a bug, masquerading as an application. Not useful, nor is it user friendly. Entering information is difficult, searching information to input doesn't work. With it being so obviously terrible, it's a wonder to me why they even have an app. Would be better if they didn't have it, now I'm doubting the quality of my trip if they are willing to make a public application this bad. Not a good sign. Please fix. Customer service on the phone is good, however!
Downloaded it to check in- each time I tried to submit the info for my boarding pass, it went back to the home screen and cleared out all the information I had typed in. Tried it five times total on different flights and different times. Never got it to work. My friend's iPhone version of this app was able to check has both in without issues.
Have to have the app to TRY to get your ticket or they charge you (cash only) to print your boarding pass. I wouldn't mind if it actually worked and didn't error out EVERY time I attempted to use it. Didn't work for my departure, didn't work for my return. They do print them for free if you take a screenshot of the error so there is that. As an app, trash.
Ridiculous dont ever book with this company total scam No customer service, they will put you on hold forever with the same loop message, i kept my call for 20h, there is no one at the other end You cant do anything about your flight once its booked
Really bad experience, on the app and on the website. I tried on both, to book a flight, 7x to be exact, every single one restart the search, didn't let me pay or log in, the app keep dropping and a lot of BS. i would rather travel on frontier or AA, whatever airline is coming to my city. Really really bad experience, if it even give me a hard time booking, cant imagine its costumer service or airline staff.
Couldn't check-in through the app after several attempts. I was forced to use the website.
Dumb app won't let you use it if it has an update, and until is updated.

I have never had a problem before but now the app keeps getting my birth date wrong by a day and I don't want to buy it since I can't even get to talk to someone to ask if it can get changed if I buy it. The only real person I was able to talk to said its my problem figure it out.
Wont let me sign in even after 15 attempts to change password . Only reason I used this company was for an emergency and they totally took advantage of my situation. Work airline I've experienced to date.
App looks good, but does not update flight info. Even when boarding a flight, it said the gate was unknown. When going on a connecting flight in an international flight, it never updated delayed flight times not provided new gate information. Almost missed our flight because of this.
How does this app have a 4 star rating??The Volaris App is terrible. Can't check-in without errors. Can't pay for baggage through the application as expected. Almost intentional so you have to pay additional fees at check-in because you didn't do it through the app. Then you add the service the airline provides, which is absolutely terrible. There is a reason they are cheap. Terrible service and you have to pay fees for everything.
