Easy to use, even for a less than techie human like me! As a former Quicken user who no longer wanted my bank connected to anything, I appreciate the simplicity and organization, and how I can even plan ahead and see where my budget is going the way I did with Quicken. Alternating between my laptop and phone works beautifully, and I'm no longer frustrated as I was with Quicken, because my bank had such ridiculous (though yes, I understand necessary, security measures). So thankful for this app!

Exactly what I needed and a a near perfect replacement for checkbook pro of which I've used for 6 or 8 years. One thing I don't like is that each time I open the app it takes me to the bottom of the page instead of where the most recent check cleard is. I schedule months in advance and would like to see current first. One other newly discovered issue is that if an account has a negative future ballance the app doesn't highlight it for easy recognition. Just a very small - for indication.

So far so good with the paid version. App seems to work well. No ads...thank you. Love the crisp look and responsiveness. 3 stars given due to a few needed missing features including no ability to split transactions to different categories and unable set recurring payments to every 6 months. It jumps from 4 months to 1 year. Would also love to import csv transactions from another app I used to use to have them archived here. Will update my review as needed.

This is the best app ever! Just a very straightforward app that you can customize to your heart's content, without it trying to bully you into doing things someone else's way. You can set up a bunch of accounts, transfer money into them so you can save up for something, then uncheck the accout box so that you can see a total of what you have to actually spend for the month. I love this app. I can't overemphasize enough how big a deal its uncluttered interface is to me.

Functional. But, I am looking for a TRUE shared ledger. It would be nice if it would open and auto download (sync) from Dropbox when it opens or maybe a timed auto sync when opened so that 2 people could use it without having to go in and restore every time they open it. This would keep the 2 people synced, making it a shared ledger!

Still use this app on a daily basis, still love it! **UPDATE 12/5/19** had to turn off high contrast text under my settings and now I can see the green and red perfect! Awesome developer and awesome app! Absolutely love this app, does exactly what I need. The only thing that could make it better is if the deposits were green or something that I could glance at quickly and make sure I didn't put a withdrawal in as a deposit by mistake. But that's just me, the app is great the way it is!

Alright, this is a well designed app, like it alot that I paid the $3.99 within first day of trail, ppl who know me, were like "wait, what, you?" Yup bought even though with it's biggest issue.....NO DARK MODE, once it has that it'll be the perfect app but until then only 4 stars. It's a very good just enough checkbook app, reminds of how in school they teach you to do your checkbook register but it's automated. Really do love the ease of setup. College/Beginner level indeed.

EXCELLENT - A little confusing at first but I eventually figured it out. I don't like seeing the "verified" on the home screen, I would prefer to just see balances (and therefore more accounts). Easily show transfers from one account to another (ie checking to credit card). Would love it if I could get the same program on my PC and sync them. All in all after looking at dozens of apps this one seems to be the best for me. Going for the premium version once I find out the cost of it.

This is a great app! It is logically set up and flexible. One of the things I like best is that negative balances (like credit card charges) show up in red so they're easy to discern. The "balances" page gives you an overview of all your accounts so you can see exactly where you stand with your finances. The individual accounts allow for specific identifying categories (like "7-Eleven," "snacks," "Snickers bar"), which makes budgeting easier. There is also an option to enter recurring charges.👍

I've used a different checkbook app for several years and it has followed me across different Android phones. But, it didn't work with Android 10. Since I have a Pixel I got Android 10 right when it came out. So I had to go searching for a new checkbook app. This one is perfect. I got the paid version fairly quickly so I could back it up to my Google drive. I had a few questions and the app developers got back to me almost immediately. My only wish is that I could archive old transactions.

Great alternative to writing on a paper register. All the math is done for you and it' easy to correct wrong entries. I wish there was a setting that didn't allow changes to verified entries. If verified, why would you need to change it? If you're going to allow this, at least change the color so we can easily tell when something has been altered. Access from another device so others could also use it is really a must have for joint accounts.

I'm looking to get away from a big name program that's more than i need or want. This app seems to fit the bill for me and the only things i would change about it are 1) the ability for scheduled transactions to appear in the register a certain number of days ahead of time and 2) if it would stay unlocked for maybe 5 minutes at a time (otherwise I'm having to put the pin back in each time i go back and forth between apps to mark them "verified").

It does what it suppose to do, I would like it if the verified amount was a different color than the balance. like green for positive balance and red for negative (which it does) with black for verified. almost perfect. I find it a bit annoying that certain regularly enter "names" are not always saved like others that don't require me to type in the whole name.

This is a pretty good free application. Some capabilities are not readily apparent. For example, I can't tell if there is an account reconciliation function yet, which would be good to have. Yet, if you just want to manage your checkbook, this is an entirely sufficient application. For me, it was a good alternative to Quicken, which charges an annual fee of $35 per year at least. I did not want to pay that amount since all I used Quicken for was to manage my cheking account and print checks

The only major flaw is that entries with the same date are arranged by order of entry, so if I enter a debit before a credit with the same date the debit stays first. Something minor, the app opens at the bottom of the ledger instead of the top so I have to scroll up everytime I open the ledger. For free it's a very good app. I'm even willing to work around the entry arrangement thing I mentioned; though I wouldn't for a paid version.

I have been looking for this type of app for a long time. It is simple and streamlined, but with important features, such as being able to schedule recurring bill. It goes very well with other financial applications such as Mint and or Tru bill. It honestly shocks me that there aren't many apps for this solution. Mint and Tru Bill only recognized spending after it cleared your bank. That is just half a**Ed. You and I need to plan ahead to stay on top of our finances.

Excellent for simple household bookkeeping. I tend to get into trouble with paper registers because I am lazy and often fail to find it, dig it out, and record tranactions on the spot . My phone is with me all the time, and it's just a few taps to record a transaction. With my bank's online service, I reconcile in seconds daily. I also love the repeat transaction feature. I will be purchasing the premium version!!!

A little basic, but does exactly what i need it to do. Some updates to the UI and app icon would be nice. If it had nicer graphics, I'd guarantee it would be close to the top selling app in the store. I'd pay for an upgrade. Easy, clean, bright, and attractive is what draws the eye. Check out an app for iOS called Money by Jumsoft. That's what i was using before i switched to Android.

Would give 6 stars if it was an option. I had an issue after an update and the developer was lightning fast to communicate with me and fix it. This is an excellent app and I use it daily. It's perfect for keeping up with your finances without packing around a check register. I would highly recommend the $3.99 paid premium version so you can back everything up. Well done!!!

For the premium price, other apps give you more for free. Simple things would be nice if you could change colores for backgrounds and letters, and even accounts. just more customize options to justify paying for this app. If I could do it over, id use a different non pay app. But, does it do the job? 100%!!! Just the value needed for the use vs cost needs a revaluation.

The app is excellent. I upgraded to the premium service and have not been disappointed. My bank's app doesn't show pending transactions in much detail so I often felt anxiety about knowing exactly how much money I had available. With one click I get accurate information about each of my four accounts. The one suggestion I have for developers to make this my one stop financial tracker would be to add an option for credit cards.
