Volume Booster GOODEV

Absolutely great app. Nothing comes close to ease of use and effectiveness, at least in my opinion. The app does nag you about giving a rating, but in this case I suppose it is justified as you get a great service that is free. It has some built in protection that helps you minimise the risk to your speakers, which is a great addition, plus there is a non uniform boost option to help with distortion. Highly rated 👍

Quite nice actually. Performed much better than expected. I'd love to see some equilizer controls though inside the app. Alot of time when you boost any speaker of any phone more than about 20%, it becomes necessary to turn down the bass a little or you get distortion every bass drum hit. It's prevalent in this app as well. A equilizer would fix this.

It actually works pretty well as advertised. Volume can be much increased over factory scores. Might not support every version or ROM but I can confirm it works on note 20 ultra stock unrooted android 12. Also the volume values on every phone or ROM may vary and these settings which are usually inaccessible to the average user, should be high enough to allow this modification be as effective otherwise it would produce a compressor effect.

The app really works! It does raise my volume, which is great. I like being able to close it out of the active apps window, and allow it to work in the background. However, it must remain in the drop-down window, and because it generates ads in the background, it uses data unnecessarily, and battery. Also, I have to frequently reopen the app from the minimized state in the pulldown window, because the amplifier will occasionally stop amplifying my music.

An absolute must. It is a little buggy from time to time, but I blame my other apps. Simple and effective. I find anything over 30% causes a little distortion to a maximum of speaker destruction. My only suggestion would be to ensure your volume isn't cranked all the way, boost until you hear a little distortion, scale it back a notch, then adjust your volume. Cheers to GOODEV

This is by far my go to app for volume adjustments on the rush. When you really just need to get the volume to a reasonable level this makes it super easy and fast. All app no adds and intuitive UI make it an all around smooth ride. I know it sounds too good to be true but it is goodev! Thanks so much for all you've done and done well. To anyone who wants a really good "cut to the chase" volume app, minus the hype and redundant adds. This is the one you need. No ifs and or buts, period!

Exactly what I was looking for: easy to use, as advertised. Saves me the hassle of earphones on and off while indoors. I set my phone's volume to 50%; then set my VBEV's sound to 30%, where the combined sound is just right (with A/C noise, etc.) That way, I can always raise or lower volume from my phone only. I wish someone had told me a year ago that there was such an app for volume. (2d review) Works as advertised, but unreliably. Turns itself on & off; requires refreshing.

Very happy with this app. Easy-to-use and works as described. Careful with the boost... it really can trash speakers! Note: different sound sources can be very different as to playback. Going from Netflix to Amazon can have totally different volume. I suggest turning volume down low whenever switching audio sources. I did destroy a Bluetooth speaker not paying attention to this. No biggie I don't even think I paid 20 bucks for it.😜

I just started using today , tried others before most of them drains my battery. It's does boost the volume but the sound comes out distorted but I can live with it for now. I will check back in a week. If this app drains my battery..so for I give it a star. Oh yeah one thing I can't adjust the volume from your app I mean , I can but it's not easily assemble .I like the volume boost. It's free so , can't really complain

This is a very good app. I have downloaded others, but this is the best I've Come across. I try to keep it less than 45% or it really does rattle on your phone, like For ex: a candy wrapper, You could hear every bit of unravel of the cellophane, it will make you want to cringe so beware. It's an awesome app and works great. My phone came brand new with very low volume and it is a samsung, kind of disappointing, but this fixed the problem. 30% is good to set at for mine.

Phenomenal absolutely phenomenal ! I installed it one evening just before I went to bed so I waited until the next morning to take a look at it, I plugged my phone into my external speakers and well yeah lol I had my ears ripped out. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to boost their volume output, also great app for anyone who is hearing impaired. Be careful how you set it up though it's loud!!! Five stars it's definitely a volume booster alright, Wow !! 👍👍😃

Great - just what i needed, plain and simple! It's like just amping up the gain on the output. Yes, it can rupture your phone's loudspeaker if you exceed certain values, so be careful! For me it's perfect, because i made myself the simplest homemade amplifier, feeding a 6 inch subwoofer and two smaller speakers. The circuit is simplicity itself, so it gets loud only if the input is strong enough... My Moto X4 just couldn't give it enough juice, so i use this tool, and it works like a charm!

Update, had to take a star away.. I got a new phone,, app doesn't work as well.. I'm not sure if it's a phone issue or if an update has caused intermittent app issues.. I still use it. Simple, works great. Love it! Update: it's Christmas morning December 2021 and I'm still loving this app! Thank you developers. I'm partially deaf in one ear so this app is big help and allows me to enjoy much more auditory content. I love its ease of use and the easily identifiable icon is a plus too.

You know your chromebook or smart phone can play loudly, but sometimes a source on the internet is just too quiet to hear even with the volume turned all the way up. This Volume Booster GOODEV is the perfect fix for audio that is too quiet. It provides more than enough boost to make your device more useful. I set mine on a boost of 10 out of 100 and it is very loud and clean. I installed on several devices and it works great without issue.

Works in background. No adds popped up while in background. Amplifies the entire system. Ads only when you want to change the boost level, but how often is that anyways, I set mine and haven't messed with it since. Works good, but, amplifies the whole system which I would like to exclude the Google assistant for one and mostly amplify the music stream. Works good, no pop-ups, simple, Recomended.

Forgot to take my Bluetooth speaker to work so I had to settle for listening to music through my phone speaker. On a building site this is less than ideal, so I thought I'd look for a volume boosting app. Added about 30% extra volume through the app settings, put my phone inside a traffic cone to amplify it a bit more, music came through loud and clear even heard it over the forklift. Ads are in no way disruptive. Credit to the developer(s) for making this and making it free to use. 👍

It didn't work (on a Chromebook). I came across a YouTube video the sound of it was barely audible even with the volume up to max. So I turned to this app. But it made absolutely no difference despite turning both the system's volume plus this app's volume up to max. I'm hoping for a response from its developer or whoever to tell what I did incorrectly, if anything at all.

Potentially, a must have, - if stable. Pros- simply a volume booster, as stated- for anything. Powerful! (No joke). I believe no ads, or pop ups. (Whew!) Minimal settings- very simple when working correctly . Cons, minimal settings-, when unstable, the settings offer no help. Main issue, suddenly volume will increase or decrease and it will respond to manual decreasing but not increasing. Many re-boots, and new settings but still can't figure out correctly.

Since the first time I used this app it's been great. Sometimes there's a little lag time. But I can change that in it's setting so it turns on when you open ur music app. And it gets very loud for me 30% higher than your phones max 8s perfect. But it all depends on the type of phone you're using thank you for this great app

It let's me better hear some podcasts, especially when they, ( the podcasts ) have low-production values. I always use the Speakerphone option, as I'm wary of electronic pollution. VOLUMEBOOST application helps me, a, " hearing-challenged-person ", to adjust, and enjoy better my audio experiences on my android smartphone, ( TCL ). I feel the only improvements to your app would be: an option of a, " drop-down change option ", as I now have to go all-of -the way-back to app to make percentage chan

The only volume booster I've used that has usually no distortion whatsoever even at maximum level (60%). You will hear distortio while moving the volume slider as you're setting it up for yourself but that's it. I use this thing every day and it's free too! Sound. Cheers!

One of the most real sites I've seen. What I mean is u get exactly what this app is for, and it does work, sounds good, with my music as well as my movies. It is smart yet simple. I would recommend this app in a heartbeat! Pt Feb, 4, 22. This is not a bad review, but it seems to work most excellent with my devices except 1. Useful app. There is a learning curve involved, but worth it once you get the hang of it. Was using a different one for a long time and during an update it became corrupted. Hope that doesn't happen to this one. Edit on 01/2022 All of a sudden, this app starting throwing me an error message when updating. May have to find something else to use. 02/2022 I just contacted the developer via email, hoping to find a solution. I've even completely uninstalled it and reinstalled it -- still happening

I bought some Sony over ear headphones & their not as loud as my Sony earbuds I had w/ this phone, so I dl'd this app to boost my volume. It works as advertised, doesn't distort the volume too much when used at higher volume. (I like my volume loud). Would be nice to see a 'bass' booster if possible. Other than that, interface is def very simple. Highly recommend.

It's nice to acquire an app that actually does what it says it does. If you have a volume issue I assure you this is your answer! You have renewed my faith perhaps alleviated some of my skepticism. Back to edit my review. You guys should really think about broadening your horizons and making other apps. If you do it the same way as volume booster. The only single app I have ever downloaded that I'm a 100% satisfied with. Thank you.

Not 5-star material. It's impossible 2 get decent sound out of this ap. 4 each type of audio continually requires trying 2 adjust it. I expected CLEAR AUDIO but no matter where I set this aps settings, audio only, as well as video file audio is constantly "distorted" & staticy. I used another ap about a year ago & it worked great until it got updated, then it no longer was any better than this one. I have yet 2 find a decent audio enhancement that has clear, clean audio. Uninstalling. :(

It works well, does what it says. My only issue is it seems to stop increasing volume past a certain point so it just sounds the same at the high end. Not significant enough for me to dock a star. No intrusive ads, simple to use.

It boosts the sound A LOT!!! However, even though it supposedly has the Service Running, it keeps letting the sound drop back down. Especially when using YouTube. Pause the video, then tap Play again and the sound is down again. You have to open this app again and the sound goes right back up again. Tried it on 3 different brand phones (LG, Motorola, Samsung), with 3 different versions of Android (7, 10, 11) with the same results. FIX THIS and 5 Stars!
