Volume Control

Actually does its job. Older reviews say that there are popup ads but the dev removed that it seems. The only ads are at the bottom of the screen which aren't as annoying. This really helps when my volume button is broken. The annoying part is that it sometimes won't cooperate and I have to go back to the app to change the volume. But otherwise it's good and I've been using it for a while.

Gets the job done. My physical keys are damaged and unusable. This app is just what I need, and pretty close to what I want. I would like to be able to lock the volume level for certain sounds, like alarms, notifications, and system sounds. Also, other options to change volume would be nice; such as a floating bubble or gestures.

Same issue as everyone else. I used to like it, but what made anyone think it was a good idea to put video ads, with sound, in a volume control app, BEFORE you even get to the controls screen? It takes forever to open because its loading an ad. Then said ad blasts sound, which I'm trying to turn off but can't...because of the ad. Or have to go digging through system settings. MAYBE inserting an ad 30 seconds after opening would be acceptable. MAYBE. But the sound ads have to go. Uninstalling.

I have used this app for a long time and found it very useful and simple to operate. It is been ad-free up until now. However, after this last update (earlier today) I am getting pop up ads that I never had before. This delays access to the apps function, and wastes my time. If the pop-up ads continue, I will be forced to delete this app and find another to do the same thing. Rating drop from 5-star to 2-star.

It works well for what it does. Free & no adware! First, I am not an Android guru, but am decent with Win (back to DOS days). What I wanted was an app that allowed me to turn off certain individual Volume controls (e.g., System, Notifications), without having to dive into Settings > Sounds > Etc. This sort of does that. On my S9+, Pie, the main icon opens five different sound sliders: Media, Alarm, Notification, Ringtone, and Call. So that is a faster way to access those options. Curiously, System is not available, and I saw no way to add it (nor Bixby sound, if relevant). Those are the Developer's screenshots 1 & 2. The app also adds an option to the top-pull-down menu (whatever it's called, sorry, Screenshot 3). That's another way to access the five settings, one at a time; again, no System. There are also three static icons beneath the five, which disable and enable certain of the five settings. Those icons apparently cannot be modified : they change what they change, period. Left-to-right : All on (volumes based on previous settings) ; only Media, with Ringtone vibration ; only Media, no vibration. And that's it, near as I can tell. Like I said, it does what it does well, if that's all you need. Not many options, unless I missed something.

Causes unwanted, intrusive, full screen adverts, even when you are not using the app. Uninstalling now. Suggest you don't install or remove it from your own phone. Very annoyed. Also, it tries to hide this from you by closing the ad window down before you can see what app is causing the ads to appear. So, it is both sneaky and annoying.

The app does exactly what I wanted: to simply replace the awkward side buttons which now require a second tap to show all volume controls. I was not looking for profiles or anything complicated, so this app does the trick. I wish there was a ad-free option available to purchase.

Already upgraded for Ad-free!) 12-07-19 App did exactly what I needed until last update and now full screen ads interfere with accessing control panel. I'd purchase a paid version, but one is not available. Going to look for a different app now.

I love this app. However I have a request... Ever since I got updated to Android 12, in dark mode, the widget displayed in the pull down drawer has poor contrast. It's hard to see whether, for example, ring or vibration is enabled.

Does what I need it to do. Could be a little more simple; Like adding system, and bixby volume in the pull down menu aside all the other volume options. Maybe crashes once every 3 months but not a big deal.

Simple and clean. The only thing that could make it better would be either the ability to select the increment, or Step, size for increase/decrease of the sliders (especially the Media slider), or better yet, make them purely Analog - - - 0 to 100%. Do That and you'll get 5 stars.

Provides every volume control needed with a simple down-swipe from the notification area. Unfortunately I've just discovered that THIS was the app causing the intrusive pop-up ads OUTSIDE the app that occurred at times when tapping another app or folder. This constitutes a violation of Google Play policy and has been reported. Select the three dots top right and report, I'd really rather direct purchase this handy app than have this Adware. The programmers are not forthcoming with this info.

Was exactly what I needed until recently started getting full page foreign language ads that lock up the screen. This is contrary to the app description which states no ads. Going elsewhere for now. Update: Appears to be abandonware.

My volume up key is already broken, so I have to intall an up who can help me control my vloume. I saw this app and used it for almost 2 weeks. This is super lag. Every time I open and adjust the media volume it just won't budge and then sometimes I adjust it up but when I want to adjust it lower it just stuck up. I had to uninstall this app (I'm sorry) but your app just won't work the way it should be.

Worked just fine for several months but I recently started to get pop-up ads that would take over the entire screen at random times. Traced it to THIS app. The popups were AdChoice marketing ads. Look for the little blue triangle in one corner of the pop-up. Uninstalled this app and they went away. Shame on the author for doing this!

Updated on 25/07/2020 : I came back to try this app again, and saw great improvements in it..! Which means the Dev did put in hard work improving the app. 👍 But I also noticed it has full page ads now, which is why the low ratings. Perhaps the Dev could have a Pro version, I believe people would not mind paying for a great app like this to get rid of the ads. Keep up the good work Dev..! 🙂👍 And also it seems there is a very identical app (Volume Button) in the store. Same but no ads..

I really appreciated the simplicity of quick access to audio settings. However, the recent upgrade has it slow to open and contains obtrusive adds. I would pay for an option to revert back to what it was.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP! This app shows full screen ads whenever it is activated (e.g. right after screen unlock or just after charging). I had to hunt down the culprit, and it was this app that caused those annoying ads. If you have this app on your phone, there are tons of alternatives, so do yourself a favour and uninstall this piece of cr*ppy app.

Can't control it. Ads kept popping up in front of you and ads won't let you do anything, can't even understand what it's saying. I was looking for an option to purchase the full version just to get rid of the ads but no such option found.

Really useful app, but the only 2 bugs I hate is that it keeps freezing whenever I open it and also the notification control also keeps appearing, even when I have it off from the settings. Please Fix It!

Great app, very simple, lightweight and no annoying ads! Sadly it doesn't solve the problem of changing volume of Notifications and Ringtone separately so it doesn't seem possible to solve this problem until phone update is released where they finally make those two separate.

I used to really love this app, it was literally perfect as my volume buttons are broken and it doesn't stay on the screen like other apps. Recently it's been unresponsive and I have to open the full app every time I want to change my volume.

I recently switched to a Samsung phone after years of owning LG, and one thing that I miss is having a volume slider in the quick settings. This appears to be a very good alternative. Four stars because the notification needs a dark mode.

Ads now appear at the start and take a long time to load. I can't use the app until all the ads load. Worse is that the app exits by itself even if I set it to remain in RAM, probably to force me to relaunch and see more ads. Used to be a nice app.

I got this app for the sole purpose of controlling ring volume and notification volume separately and it doesn't do that. If iy move the volume setting of one it moves the other to match. I had it less than a minute so i can't say anything else about the app.

I am giving two stars instead of five because of two flaws or bug in it. Firstly, it does not show icon on the notification area for easy access. Secondly, all the app screen photos you showed on the play store are not possible in the settings. So please fix this and you will surely get five stars from me.

Thank you for making a great no nonsense app that does not force you to pay for features. Only thing that I would like to see implemented is widget control. This could also be a revenue source as you could pay say 99© to maybe $3 for a "premium" version including different widget styles

Was the best volume control for a long time. New update forces you to watch an add every time you open it. Really delays the ability to change volume quickly. Could have been handled better.
