Awesome app! I have an issue with my Samsung S4 where periodically for some unknown reason the ring tone volume mutes itself causing me to miss calls. I have been unable to discover what's causing this nor stop it from happening. By installing this app I have been able to lock the call volume so it can't mute any more. I tried other apps but this was the only one that worked.
The best volume control and lock app I've found, and I've looked at a number of them. Thus app is steady, predictable, and easy to use. You can set and lock volume for ringtone, notifications, media and alarms individually in one simple screen. No glitches, and virtually no battery usage. Well-done!
I really got sick of websites and apps jacking up my media volume without my permission. This app controlled that. Lately I have noticed some ads can still turn back up the sound and sometimes the sound can turn up for no reason out of nowhere with no ads playing. It's rare, only has happened 2x. On Samsung A20 Galaxy android 9. The last few days I have noted the app muted and locked every volume setting as soon as I minimized the app.
Android has a problem! Of you turn down a You Tube video you also turn down the ring tone, causing missed calls all the time! This app allows you to lock the ring tone volume. Problem solved? Depends which flavour of Google is on your phone, but it works well for me. World give it 5⭐ if it has a widget to show current state of volumes.
Its interface is very basic but at least it works properly. It starts up proper and automatically anytime i start up or reboot my phone and it locks the volume controls i want locked such as notifications and ring tones so i dont find out 3 hrs later i missed 10 calls. Bottom line it does what i need it to do and well. I totally agree with other.. No glitches and small footprint (bat & mem usage) its a a great app that android should automatically have.
this app is fantastic! i use a dexcom g6 app that completely ignores my phone being silenced and will sometimes beep aggressively in the middle of the night (and then continues to beep every 5 minutes. horrible stuff.) this app finally helped me silence the beeping nightmare.. it's very easy to use too!
Its Ok, not great. I use it for monday-friday for the work week. The problem is it's a pain to turn off for the weekend and turn back on for the following Monday. Merely unchecking the check box doesnt disable it. And if I raise my ringtone volume manually . It raises the settings volume and I have to set them all up again on Monday. If I forget to raise the volume on Saturday I end up missing calls because the settings made it low again. Cant you put a day setting in for this app?
I want to be able to set many different on and off times throughout the week that repeat each week. Each alarm should allow it me to choose what turns off and on. I shouldn't have to make the same alarm four different times to turn off the four volume controls.
The best and easiest background app for setting volume strengths of all sound outputs, individually or all together then locking and or muting them. Just a super smooth super simple app. We'll thought out. Thanks
Simple solution for controlling what volume types gets altered when making changes to any one type of volume! So, no more 'accidentally raising the media volume to full' when trying to raise only the ringer volume!! Thanks.
Perfect app to lock individual volume types at a desired level, while the others can be altered. e.g. prevents accidentally increasing media volume while increasing ringtone volume. Easy and simple to use!
Great little app, especially when i forget to turn on my volume missing calls. If you plan to expand on your excellent app i would suggest having individual day settings to be more versatile. Thanks for helping others. Lord Jesus bless you. Stephen
My cheap earbuds kept adjusting the volume on my phone so I installed Volume Control Lock and the issue is resolved! You will have to adjust how much volume you want locked or not.
Fantastic. I had a problem with my note 9 whre it shuts the message alert volume to 0 all the time and Verizon and samsung couldn't figure it out. But this amazing qpp saved the day.
Overall the concept is good but the user interface is confusing. I still do not know how to use it properly after a few months. Either samples have to be provided or the interface needs to be revamped.
Great for left handers on Samsung.phones - forever resetting volume just picking up phone. No more. Works a treat Now just need something that does exactly the opposite (disables) Bixby button 🙂
The app worked great at then began to malfunction, causing a significant lag as well as the media volume randomly turning all the way up. I had to uninstall.
My wake up alarm volume was inadvertently tured down and I was oversleeping. This app runs in the background and solved my issue.
I don't like that I cannot lower the volume. I wanted to stop my child from going above a set point, you have it stuck at that exact 75% volume. So I am constantly taking the tablet to fix the volume
Does what it needs to do, no ads or any bells and whistles. I'd say this is currently the best option out there for locking (alarm) volume. Hasn't failed me yet.
I installed it to stop my partner from turning the volume up to max when he borrows my phone, but it didn't work. Even when set to "Lock" I could still change volumes.
BRILLIANT APP!! I have been after an app for Huawei tablet that can lock media volume and stay working continually. This app does it perfectly and doesn't close like others have. Thank you!!

Basically no features for scheduling. If you need to "lock" volume (whatever that means) maybe fine.
Can't separate Notifications from Ring. Even when locking both. Adjust one, the other follows. I got this app just to separate those two.
A volume locker that works. I've tried several and this one works. It is easy to set.
Overall very good with a minor drawback. My only thought that would make it a 5 star app would be the addition of an override option. I.e. I press the volume up button during its programmed volume down time, a dialog should pop up asking how long do you wish to override the app settings. Have choices in 30 minute increments.
