Volunteer Get Connected
Begin by logging in or creating an account to connect with the agencies in your area.
Once you're in, you can access a schedule of your upcoming and past volunteer shifts. You can check in to each shift to make sure you are helping your favorite programs get the data they need to be successful. You can also add hours without checking in.
Additionally, a dashboard is included, so you can see the impact you are having in your community.
And finally, the app will use your location and push notifications to alert you when you should check in to a response you've created. When you arrive on site, we'll tell you that it's time to start your clock, and we'll let you know to stop the clock when you leave.

I cannot figure out what the intent of this app is beyond tracking hours. It doesn't connect me to volunteer opportunities or organizations... I have to do those tasks online on my computer. My schedule has months old events just stuck in it that I have no way of removing. There are no resources, no events, no settings, no info, no contact. I do not understand the point.
I can't say if its good or bad because I cant get past the loggin. The Website (United Way of NE Florida) I use for volunteering let's me log in through my facebook login and this app only has the option to log in through a username and password. No Facebook log in option. I tried to access my volunteer portal but keeps saying invalid credentials. I had to uninstall and keep using my laptop instead.
I have two counties attached to this. The first (Loudoun County, VA), I can see everything. The second county (Prince William County), it says I don't have anything signed up and to go to the program and sign up. When I click the link that is given, it takes me to a blank page. I also don't see an option to remove Loudoun County. I have moved out of that county.
The app is great - especially since the update!

Convenient for clocking in and out. It doesn't have an unenroll function.
I had to reset my password to be able to login. Now it works just fine. I'll update my review after using it later this week.

This app would be MUCH more useful if volunteers could sign up for events with it.

Nothing to do or see once logged in.
Would be SO useful if you didn't still have to go to the website to sign up for opportunities. The geolocation reminders only worked for me when the organization was trialing the program and now they don't. I have push notifications enabled and allowed the app to track my location when app isn't open but it still doesn't work.
