this app used to be great. hasn't been updated for the recent elections so its essentially useless. the reps have been updated, but not keeping up with what's going on. home shows 16 notifications, but I've responded to all. state legislature is in session but no updates on Bill's that have been voted on.
I love the versatility of this app. I can see how my state's US Congressmen/women are voting on bills, and what bills are up for vote, AND I can contact them directly from the app: by social media, phone, email. It's a time saver. Love this app! Have recommended it often. One suggestion though... Dear Votespotter makers, please consider adding state level information on votes and bills. If you did that, your app couldn't be beat.👍🏻
The app used to tell me how my elected representatives actually voted on issues, so i could send emails thanking them or express my disappointment. In that way, it was useful to me. Now it is not. Also, it should include the Governor of the State. There is no legislative information on my more local Representatives or their voting records. This is NOT HELPFUL. l might as well get rid of the app.
I first got this app about a year ago it was awesome I recommended it to my friends. it told me what the bill was and how my representative voted for the bill. Now it's clunky, innacurate, confusing and just really hard to use. I'm pretty sure I'll be finding a different app soon.
Used to work, but as others noted it has not updated my reps votes since 3/24/2021. Hoping the the developer sees this post as my emails to them have gone unanswered. Pity, they used to have a very useful app and were responsive to problems.
It's a very easy way to see what my senators & representatives are actually doing and whether I agree with what they're doing. Less uninformed fury; more actual data to see how my thinking compares with theirs. Overall a great tool. Could be a little easier to use.
this app was great, but now I only get notifications that my senators have done something, but when I open the app, my feed is the same as it was before the shut down. nothing ever updates. I'll change my rating once this gets fixed.
Good for national legislation - not much more. It's supposed to allow you to agree/disagree with other items but that's not working right for me. I still use it to see my opinions as compared with my national legilators and other users, but it's not a complete view.
Discontinued!!!! Very sorry to have seen this, as being in a grassroots organization, me and my lady have spread the word of your app over the years have kept people up to date with what is going on in our government! Very sad to see this and was wondering what the reason was????
Absolutely love this app! Fantastic way to keep up with all of my representatives. I only wish it updated state representatives and added local and town officials too. Also it says my address is the house next door, and that's in a different voting district (which is not).
It's a great app for keeping up what's going on in Congress, but I no longer see my state lawmakers and/or reps of the house... Please fix... Also it would be nice if it had notifications as well...
Couldn't get beyond signup. Filled in my addresses, app gives me a popup with no message, and then just doesn't allow me to continue or move on
Not kept current. No info on recent votes. No responses to contacts about bugs or other problems.
Great app for Federal legislation. Would give a higher rating, but has no information on state legislation and voting. Just tells you who your reps are. People who use this app most likely already know who they are. Notification of votes no longer shows up since update.
Won't work. It won't let me sign up again. Had this app on my old phone and it worked fine. Now it's junk. Please fix this. Thanks
I got a new phone so had to sign up/in on this app... it has filled in my 2 Senators, but not my U.S. House Rep. Will check from time to time to see if it gets added.
Hasn't been an update to activity since the confirmation vote on HHS Secretary, which occurred on 3/24/21. There have been many votes and confirmations since then. Why are they not showing in the app?
As MANY have said, this used to be a great app. It no longer is. I plan to check it again in a month to see if it has recovered; if not, it will be deleted.
Great tool for connecting with your representatives. I wish all citizens used this app - America would be better for it.
After update new votes aren't showing up. Vote history is there but that's it. I even cleared cache & data. No luck.
Excellent!, good for keeping up on things happening in Virgina Congress and Federal level ,both parties , vote on which one u agree with yea or nea easy and fun same as i felt then been a nice app
Used to be a great app, but no updates since March 24. Pretty frustrating honestly.
Back working. Need to vote on the same thing multiple times even though it's the same issue. Seems silly
I've actually enjoyed this app, makes it easier to understand bills & fun interaction with voting.
STRONGLY DISLIKE the new update. The more you update the worse it gets, more complicated. Ditch this & go back to original version.
NOT WORKING AT ALL. "Connection to the server has failed. Please contact tech support." Is it still functioning? - No. It's not a connection issue from this side. - No VPN. - No connection issues to anything else. It pretty much seems clear your server is just offline. So did you just quit??????
