Voxer Walkie Talkie Messenger

Very good app over all, reason for a 4 start is when connected to a Bluetooth device you still have to hold the phone close to your mouth in order for the person to hear your messeges. I tested it with my friend where I was connected to Bluetooth beats wireless headphones which work great with a phone call, but when replying or sending a messeges it still must be physically holding the phone next to your mouth. Otherwise it's a very good app.

Constantly erroneous! Freezing, not sending voice messages and texts, not receiving replies and have to keep uninstalling over and over, about once a week uninstall, for it to work properly. This is really messing up my client experience, making me look bad as a professional! The faulty nature of this app also has clients doubting the high encryption level the app claims to have! Love the concept, but TOO MANY problems and I'm looking for an alternative.

Overall this is a great app. The issue I have with it is that from time to time, it suddenly stops giving me audio notifications of a new message. I have made sure that my sound is up and that the notification sound is on but it still will only vibrate. The only way to fix it, that I have found, is to uninstall it and then reinstall it. Frustrating. This is my third time to have to do this in over a year.

Need the ability to scrub the message and rewind and fast forward. This is not a feature on the android version of the app even though its possible on iOS this is the most important fix this app needs. Also the norifications dont work well, and sometimes messages do not come through completely and cutoff midway throuh.

Update 3-16-22 On Galaxy S21. All my messages are coming in in a mixed up order. I'm getting messages answering a question someone asked but, the question comes in after the answer. Crazy time delay on alot of the messages. And getting messages repeating themselves. Same message will appear over and over again and sometimes replay withing the same message. Send and receive time-frames are all screwed up. Delayed

I signed up for voxer and somehow was assigned a pro acct. When I realized it, I messaged support to prevent charges. Voxer charged me a subscription fee anyway. I have contacted support/cs thru the available routes asking for my acct to be changed to free & for my cc info to be removed. I have NOT received a response. Everytime I try to cancel I am either sent to Google play & there is no record of the subscr. for me to cancel...OR am told to message support, who doesn't respond... disgusted 😡

Update: they replied, and are working on the issue. Thank you :-) ..When you use this app with a bluetooth device it makes the sound not work so the person you sent the audio clip to cant hear anything. Would leave a higher rating except this was the reason i wanted this app.

Very buggy. Can't scroll back through messages. Can't zoom photos. Messages show as unread after reading. Soft keys disappear off screen when viewing pic so you can't back out. Was good at one time but keeps getting worse and worse!

I had to add it for a team. The messages disappear then reappear then disappear. Its crazy. Whenever I send messages it says "sending for a very very long time them they often disappoear without being sent. Its totally unreliable and I am very frustrated.

I used to use Voxer like 10 years ago, I downloaded it today to have away to communicate with my boys that traveling overseas for few months, created group and by mistake I added someone that shouldn't be in the group with us when I tried to remove that person or # I added Voxer is saying I have to upgrade to PRO to be able to do that. What a shame this app once used to be the best

I have been using this app for work and it has become rather annoying. I have to restart my phone several times throughout my shift because my messages will just keep saying "sending". Once I restart my phone, the messages will send. Sometimes I have to also restart my phone just so I can receive my messages from dispatch.

My Voxer was working well until my latest update. Now one of my contacts whose time zone is 3 hours earlier than mine has a green circle around her profile picture which I can't seem to remove & when she voxes the app turns on automatically & messages are heard via speaker for everyone to hear & I don't know how to stop this from happening. It shouldn't be this hard, & is totally annoying considering I have Voxer Pro which I have to pay for...😪🤦‍♀️😡 Sounds like I need to try WhatsApp?🤷‍♀️

Voxer is acting up. For the last two days it has been going off on its own saying I'm talking to myself. Others that I use it with are having the same issues. Update: response from customer service. Voxer is working well now. Thank you.

Can not hear my messages! I've used this app for months with my coworkers as walkie-talkie. Within the last month I've had so many issues. I can no longer hear messages sent unless I connect my Bluetooth headphones and insert them into my ears. I cannot figure out why I cannot get to play the messages on speakerphone mode. So frustrated. I even paid for the premium subscription. Hoping that would fix the issue and it has not. Super disappointed.

My Voxer was not making the usual notification sounds when a message comes through. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, thinking the issue was my phone, and now see other reviews that it may be an issue in general. Also, for whatever reason, now my chats are not syncing after reinstalling Voxer. I logged in online and can see them, but I cannot see all of the chats on my phone (Android). Please fix the notification sound issue and the syncing issue. Thank you.

The GIFs and photos take forever to load, if they even do at all. It's not bad service either, it is definitely the apps bugs.

It was fine until the last 2 android updates - voxer Pro for years. And I tried unsuccessfully to send in a support ticket through the app as you request - literally skips over a screen I can't read and defaults to choose a communication option. Tried email with the data so you could at least get some detail and got scolded for sending it there instead of through the support ticket in app. Bummer- loved this app & it's not working as it should & did. Please help!

Great app but as off lately none of the messages load anymore. This is critical since I use Voxer for work and it how we keep in touch. Please please, look into this issue, as im sure im not the only one with this problem.

Recently things have gone downhill. When I load a picture that was sent to me, the app freezes completely and I cannot exit that picture. That is when I can actually view the picture because the message comes in that a picture has arrived but the initial view is of a broken stock image. Additionally, messages won't show up for 24 hrs and I know this because my coworker has received said message and confirms that I am in the group message. This occurs for my coworkers as well & I get the message

I am constantly having to Uninstall and reinstall. There have been numerous problems. The most recent is that I can barely hear messages even when my volume is turned all the way up.

Voxer is great when it works, but randomly has issues when messages will not play correctly or at all. I've been using it for several years now, and the issues have never completely gone away. I use other voice messaging apps whenever possible.

I am unable to upload a profile image and I'm not sure if it's because I have an Android phone (Samsung) but it seems a bit annoying if that's the case. Could you guys tell me how to upload a profile image? I've tried everything 🤔

Can't open my chats. Been using this app for work. It stopped suddenly! All apps on my phone is working except for this one.

Have been having problems with my Bluetooth mic connecting. I see there was an update today hopefully this repaired my issue. I've had no problems with support they always answer me back, if it's an issue I continue to have me personally email me let me know it's going straight to engineering... This is still the best and easiest to use app of this type

Dang!!! I cant add my pic nor do my text msgs have the feature to like them or not. Perhaps its cuz I dont have the paid version? That's a bummer!! Normally u can always add ur pic to free apps and have the like feature avail too.
