Voxist: Visual voicemail you can read

App works pretty well. I'm fairly happy with it. I do get notifications from the built in voicemail once or twice a week. Not sure how those messages get around Voxist. Seems to be a bug. More importantly, I'd really like to see a setting added where Voxist auto-deletes and doesn't notify any voicemail that's under X seconds. I get constant spam notifications for voicemails left of 0 seconds or 3 seconds. Clearly junk but I still have to go in and clear notifications and delete the spam messages.

when I switched my phone carrier, I was unable to make my default voicemail work. I found voxist, and it is so much better! it's easy to set up, intuitive to use, and even the free features are excellent! upgrading to one of the paid levels makes me wish I had this back when people made phone calls!

I just recently got an Xfinity cellphone and for some reason the voicemail will not work and no one in their customer service seems to know how to fix it. So, as I was checking online to see if anyone else has this problem, I found out that it's a very common problem and everyone was as unhappy as I was that the voicemail didn't work. Then I heard about this app and downloaded it. Update: With unlimited voicemails, I'm changing my rating to 5⭐! It works great! I recommend!

I never remember to listen to voicemails. Or I'm in a situation where I can't. Having an appt that shows it to me in text format has been so beneficial. It can also read it outloud to you. only downside is the talk to text typos.... but that is with everything. My rating will not reflect this!

I'm back to edit my earlier review. Voxist has informed me that the test call does not leave a voicemail. The issue is still shrouded in mystery because Voxist received a different message than I did (so weird). Voxist promptly refunded my 1 voicemail and we've both agreed to leave it at that. Everything else appears to be ok but I haven't really used the app yet so that's why I left off a star. Don't let this app trick you into receiving a "test voicemail" from them. You only get 10 free VMs a month & the test counts as one VM. I haven't even activated the app yet & I'm starting out with nine. The test VM was one word. You. When I tried to listen to see if I could hear it I heard nothing. I just downloaded this app today so this is my initial rating If things change I will come back & add more stars. 2 Stars for the UI.

Previously used Youmail. Love the UI on Voxist much better - very clean and intuitive. Having some issues with badge notifications - they won't reset after messages are marked heard - number just keeps going up. Also, somehow numbers on my blocked list are able to leave messages which is leading to spam and eating up my transcriptions...

App doesn't work because it keeps telling me I need to turn off my Battery Optimization, but it is Not On/ Optimized? Also the test texts are in French, but I don't read French!? Deleted App but it is still taking my calls!? App has Hijacked my phone!! I ask for help and they say "Contact Support '?! HOW DO I DISABLE CALL FORWARDING?? I just spent 30 minutes on my phone with T-Mobile Support in order to repair my phone's settings so my T-Mobile Voicemail will work! Stay Away from Voxist!

I really love using this app, I got notifications when there's a voicemail that was left for me versus just having a missed call. although I wish it had more transcriptions a month I think you can pay to get more? My phone voicemail has not been working at all I am not receiving messages so I downloaded this app as I have used it previously before and it works even better than my voicemail. It's nice to All the info displayed like a text.

The app functions fairly well overall. My main issue is a bug with the program that causes my microphone volume to be very low. When recording a greeting, the message is incredibly quiet and hard to hear. If the Voxist app is open in the background, it also causes any other programs that use microphone to record at very low volume. If this bug is fixed, I would improve rating to 5/5

This app is completely useless for me. After it had me turn off the optimization(which I had to do one file at at time-the only way my phone would allow) it tells me I can't activatenir because my carrier doesmt accept call forwarding. Why on earth don't theybtell you that first before you go changing things on your phone!

Seems to work well but.. Unfortunately xfinity mobile voice mail is a joke& doesn't work so found this option which seems to work well but it only gives you a few voice mail messages a month then wants you to pay monthly fee. Just not sure it's worth up to 10 bucks a month to receive voice mails that are free for most people

I was having issues with my service providers voicemail service no longer taking messages and constantly getting error messages, so I decided to look for other options. This came recommended to me and I have had the app for a little over a month and am not disappointed.

Easy to install. Worked. That's huge. My AT&T vm was not working. This functions perfectly as my vm. New message notification bubble doesn't go away after I view and even delete messages

I was using another voicemail system and constantly had to check because it would stop notifying me a voicemail on my Pixel phone. Voxist is the best! it is consistent, easy to use, everything about it works.

The transcription is really good and accurate and is super helpful. The transcriptions is actually sometimes able to understand better than I could and is very convenient for phone numbers or reference numbers being dictated

I've used this app for years. I recently did a factory reset of my phone, so I had to install this app. It asks me to enter my mobile number, and I do, then it says it sent me a text. I never received a text. I tried several times. But a browser window does come up, saying it's verifying I'm not a robot. Then an error message is displayed. I tapped the BACK Button , and after a countdown wait, the option to CALL me with my code worked. Text STILL did not. So at least I got the app working

It's a great app but after 10 voicemails you have to pay for the transcript per month. And when you have random numbers that call you and waste them. It sucks lol..wish it was more than 10, unfortunately probably going to uninstall 😢

(Currently using Mint Moblie with a Samsung S10+) Gave it a shot and it's awesome, my biggest concern was that they would sell my work phone number to solicitors, but I needed a visual VM for work. So I went for it anyway, and still not a single spam call! Very happy. I'll update if anything changes.

Finally, an app that works to transfer voice mail to text. This was easy to set up and I have had no issues using it. It's so much faster than dealing with voice mail.

I like the app when it works, but I have had to uninstall uninstall & reinstall it so many times cuz it freezes when I try & open it to check my voice-mail.

Wasn't able to connect to my voicemail with the call back and reject. Also there's no option to keep my voicemail greeting, only options to use voxist greeting or record a new one, not convenient

I love this app. I have consumer cellular and they do not have the option for visual voicemail so this works great for me! I have the free version and when I have used up all my transcriptions I can still get my messages with voice recording. I plan to sign up for more transcriptions though because I really like the transcribed.

I had to download Voxist since my voicemail was not working on phone. I love this app. it does exactly what it should do. Wish it blocked spam even so I would not change anything about this app. I'm happy. lol

was pleasantly surprised by this app, one of the only apps I could find that I could actually get visual voicemail on... and also just be able to play my voicemails. because I have an Android phone and a prepaid plan apparently I can't have that functionality just on my phone and this app is a great replacement

Free version gets eaten up fast with spam calls, I upgraded to next version, but still get too many spam calls using my quota. Tried to deactivate/unsubscribe, good luck finding how to do this because it still will not let me deactivate voxist. I looked up feedback and even followed their step by step direction but it does absolutely nothing. I sent a message and was told to follow the steps to deactivate it, which I did, hence why I contacted support.

Simple to use, cures the lack of visual voicemail on 02 Samsung Fold. Sends email with talk to text translation, as well as a notification in the App. The mobile phone companies should ALL be licensing this functionality from Voxist as its so good. I recently recommended this to one of my customers that has an Android phone on 02, as he was planning to change mobile provider due to the lack of reliable visual voicemail. He has now stayed with 02 - #just saying! How do I update the App please?

Still new to this app, but so far, so good. The transcription accuracy has been very good. I don't get the same laughs that my husband does with the hilarious transcription that his app does, but it's good to be able to know what the caller really said!

I have been trying for months to disconnect my voicemail from this app but I can't get my voicemail in the original way because it is locked into voxist. I have tried over and over again, getting help from my carrier, etc., and no one can get my voicemail back.

Great potential, but recordings simply won't play. They just load and load and load. If this would be fixed, I'd love this app, especially it's feature to leave specific greetings for different contacts.
