It's bad. It's buggy. It's uggly. UI is bad. Whole idea is bad. People ju want to buy train tickets. Most of the ouiSCNF functionalities are gone : no way to find the cheaper price anymore, no way to chose your placement, adding a return is awfully non intuitive... Actually made me go to train station shop to purchase my ticket. Update Got a notification saying they improved. I tried to modify my trip in the app. It's a lie idk what they improved. I'll go to the station shop again if it's open.

Edit: get the original version back!!!!!!!! --------------------------------------- Original review: The UI of this app is so f confusing as well as the website. i found the train, then i tap see price, then you show me again a list, i have to tap again. And there are so many information going on on the ticket card page. Please fire the designer!!!!!

Nothing works properly, my previous data was lost, the UI is worse, the forced dark mode doesn't do it for me at all... I just need train tickets, not whatever this is. Overall a huge downgrade from something that worked really well. If it's not broken don't fix it, remember?

Dark UI is not user friendly, I get what the developers tried to do but it simply doesn't work (at least for me, and I use dark mode on my android phone and macbook). I think it needs a lot of refinement in order to make important information stand out of the rest (of white text) and make some content separation between different blocks. Or maybe just simply add a light mode too, which would make the app more user friendly in broad daylight as well.

Why did you do this? I'm not against a change in design but this is just weird. The previous app was user friendly, clean, etc... Could have done with a few changes, but now it's apaulingly bad. Crucial information is lost in the flashy design, some features I cannot find again (like adding a trip to my calendar), help is buggy and just answers I should go to FAQ even if I ask "gloubiboulga", navigation is flawed on a few counts,.... Please work on this in next iterations, we just want to travel

This app is slow, constantly asks if you need uncalled for help, pollutes with useless notifications, takes forever to load, hangs and is the sort of app only too "clever" people could launch. They read the text book, through any design to make it easier for the user out of the window and went on to praise themselves for a job "well done". We the users have been done.

Turned a clear and in time relatively well-functioning app (oui sncf) into an eye-shattering, counter-intuitive, impractical mess, with useless tabs and disabled buttons, impossible to customise for more clarity. The new version of the app won't have stored your existing tickets, and require you to import them again - note down your booking numbers before updating! And check your privacy settings after.

I don't know how you do it, but you manage to make the app worse than its predecessor for each reinvention. Please start putting yourself in the place of the traveler instead of the company trying to sell tickets. In the end, the traveler has nothing to buy if they can't find what they need. Having a clear overview of each itinerary to be able to compare all options is more important than wasting vertical space with a book/buy button underneath each option. Instead of only offering the option to see later results also provide an option to see earlier results. Show times at intermediate stops. Allow for searching in the past. Etc.

Specifically asked to NOT be seated in a square. Even though the train is empty and we booked way in advance, we were assigned seats in a square. This is the second time ot happens. How ridiculous is this! Now, from a UX perspective, this app is also a joke. Feel like the designers are having a good one — "let's try to maximize the user's clicks; let's require the user to be connected to display the trip—or the ticket"

Too many updates! I would really like to rate this higher, however, you're losing 2 stars because EVERY SINGLE TIME i try to use this app, i have to download and install the latest version. I understand that you're trying to improve things, but honestly, every single time i try to use it?? That's ridiculous. It's worse than iTunes (considering i could at least use an out of date iTunes program without updating)

Probably the worst app experience in shopping. If it's not stuck in the middle, it's always stuck in checkout. Tried with different phones but it takes a few attempts to finally buy a ticket. Sometimes it booked even twice. You can spend a bit more to develop your interface, come on!!!

Ell. M. G. Sep 10, 2019

Having to update it nearly every week!!!! Why?? It is so anoying! It takes the convenience out of having an app to book a train ticket there and then when you are leading a busy life and if you dont have any signal to do the update in question, on a sunday, in station somewhere in the middle of france you end up having to pay extra on the train!!!

Useless app. Can't change the language, can't change the trip settings (direct, connections, etc.). Can't select arrival/departure time. The results are presented in an arse backward way (best result first: along which criteria???) No chronological presentation of the different options... basically useless. The previous one was just so much better, but I guess the "it ain't broke, don't fix it" is just too hard to understand...

The UX is totally incomprehensible. No filters when searching for a ticket (number of stops, hide fully booked trains, etc.) Best price of the day is never showing up. Paying with credit cards will work only if you try at least 3 times. The Chatbot is clueless whatever I ask. The new 'dark mode inspired' colour scheme is barely readable in daylight.. I want to love taking the train but questionable UX and prohibitive ever-changing pricing is not helping.

Jen. Z. Apr 11, 2022

So far, works ok. But cluttered and hard to read. No way to change background color from black to white. EDIT: Thanks for your reply. But you are mistaken. The color scheme makes it very difficult for me (at least) to read. You draw the eye to buttons instead of the important information like date/time of ticket. Perhaps you could give your users a choice of color schemes instead of telling users they are wrong about what is and is not easy for them to read.

Waaaa the previous version was not perfect but it worked as expected. This new UX is just horrible. Please don't reinvent the wheel for basic functionalities. I find the new design also pretty out of tone but that's personal taste.

Aub. Mar 2, 2022

Works pretty well, now that the background services work. Yesterday the website and the application were simply unusable, an error would block me from finishing my purchase or saving my option. What could be improved (at first sight): 1. When I selected a round trip, after clicking the first date I'd like to access the return trip tab automatically. 2. When I'm in the search results and go back to the home search, I'd like to see the search form prefilled. 3. No country field when buying a card

Mar. B. May 22, 2022

make it 15 maximum 30 MB and we talk again (What do you save in here, feature film movies? text and a few images cannot be that big. you have a responsability to debloat) And: please delete the old App if you cannot buy tickets with it anymore! Thanks

Mar. G. May 25, 2022

Authentication and integration with desktop app issues. An order made on the desktop site with email doesn't show in my app. Impossible to reset password, reset password email never comes.

Nik. T. Mar 27, 2022

Horrible! What was wrong with the original app? This new version is confusing. I can't easily find what I'm looking for or the manipulations I want to make. And why the black interface? Horridly off-putting.

Ant. R. Mar 28, 2022

Awful User Experience. I'd rather have the old app... The search and app don't have a good UX and the intinary results don't work properly (ex : from a train station to another, it suggests to take bus and walk).

Ste. M. Apr 13, 2022

Useless. Installed it in order to import tickets I acquired via regular web browser / SNCF site, so that I can have them more easily accessible when traveling, but upon attempting to import them using the reference number and name in the app, the"validate" never completes - just ongoing scrolling line in top.

Sar. P. Apr 8, 2022

I don't know why they changed this app but it no longer works correctly. I bought tickets on the app but then all my trip details and ticket QRCs never appeared. I cannot load my trip details in the app with the confirmation details emailed to me. I have no way to manage my trip. This is terrible. Avoid this app and take the pain of buying tickets in person. :(

Moh. W. Mar 8, 2022

Horrible. Just horrible. Turned an amazing well functioning app into a disaster with this new version. I can't benefit from my TGV MAX subscription it doesn't show me the discounts anymore !! While on my pc everything seems to be working fine.

Cec. Y. Apr 26, 2022

Can't believe the National Railway company can make such an useless app with a terrible UX, and even let it appear on the market. Don't know how many clicks I made to simply get the price and timetable at a glance. There are even trips that are non-reservable, is it a joke? Then why show them? Please don't leave any useless reply on this comment unless you fix your app (or get the old one back and admit that this is a completely wrong decision).

Ari. D. Apr 9, 2022

This could be the worst website and app I've had the displeasure to use. The FAQs are useless and I have no idea how you are supposed to purchase a ticket. It only shows journeys times dates. Even though FAQs say select and purchase.

Mic. B. Jan 29, 2022

The first time I ever go on the play store solely to give a bad rating. Changed the whole app without transfering any of my trips. Old oui.sncf.fr website now also links to the new SNCF connect website with old tickets not being transferred. Had to find the emails from booking the tickets months ago to find the reference code. Still trying to find the old button to add trips to my calendar automatically. Horrible, horrible rollout!

Rob. S. Mar 9, 2022

Can't use my Max jeune card through the new app. I can put it in the app, it does tell me that there is a TGV on at TGVMax price (0€) in the day, but also tells that my card isn't applicable to my trip, so I can't book a trip via the app Also, it does not automatically add the tickets, I have to enter everything manually It is not a hard problem for me, but still is very bothering and Oui SNCF was working fine for that until this SNCF Connect update. Please fix it prontly, it is very bothering.
