VPAR Golf GPS & Scorecard

Hi, When I try and create a game and add players to the game, it takes me back to the VPAR Social Feed without starting the game. I'm on Pixel 5, latest OS. I can workaround it by having someone else create the game, and then take over the scoring etc. but it's not ideal.

Been loving using the app,had a little issue with the 9th May update but the latest update has fixed it and it works perfectly again,if I could give more than 5 stars I would,this is by far the best golf app available.

Best golf app by a long way, great interface, great features without premium (distance to front, middle and back, leaderboards and a variety of formats).

Notes : Had problems today using Vpar. All worked fine on Monday. Could not select course from the list of nearest courses. Had to search for the course to select. Once selected could not add players. Tried different options, e.g. two ball , four ball etc but could not add players. On the course Vpar very slow and kept locking out. Message Vpar stopped working. Had to stop and start again. Had no problems for years now the new features has changed the app completely. Any new instructions in how

Great until you want to use it properly. Looks like a really good app, got to the course and set up my round, nothing but a blank screen. After the 6th attempt to start my round I restarted my phone, to find 6 current games which I could not delete or edit. I gave up, may try some other time but for now I dont think I will give much time to Vpar

It's ok, just a bit cumbersome and a little unintuitive. Most of the features you need are here. I would like to see the ability to add more than 19 gross, more than 4 putts (we all have those days), add your golf bag (suppose I had a 1-iron or something stupid), let multiple VPAR users score on the same scorecard at the same time, and as a cherry on top, maybe some sort of caddy to recommend clubs with the distances added to your golf bag.

After several emails to update my local course the VPAR customer service team were exceptional. They updated my course within 24hrs of receiving the updates. The graphics are simply sublime. Unfortunately its not as user friendly as other apps and will take some getting use to. Fingers crossed they get this sorted out soon as possible.

vpar is a great app but it locked up today and I have had to delete and reinstall also I have tried to do the membership several times again this has failed, when comparing to people working out stableford scores there is always seems to be a discrepancy but the app works a lot better than others, last issue is handicaps seem to jump up and down which does not make sense.

Great app that's very easy to use and is great fun. We used it with seven of my friends in Turkey last week really helped keep the two fourballs up to date with our scores. The only issue we had was one of our guys hcp had changed and he updated his profile but it didn't follow through to the rest of us, but it was an easy workaround

App stopped working. Uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and now I can't log back in as myself. Asked for a password reset but received no email. Totally locked out for the last 3 days

I've been using the app for 3 months. Easy to use and has been very reliable until the last week. My last 2 rounds are staying as existing games and not moving into completed games. Uninstall and then reinstall has no effect.

The Good: - Great customer service - Live scoring - Free Room for improvement: - Relies on website for setting up multiround game with features - Handicap system needs revisited... Can't manage other players handicap, handicap system had bugs and was faulty - Needs help section / could be more user friendly App works as advertised... Initially I couldn't figure it out so I sent them an email, they were very responsive and helpful and even contacted me day off my Ryder cup to make sure everything was ready to go. Everyone within my tournament loved it, and even spectators who weren't playing was able to follow the action. I will definitely use it again. Hoping they improve handicap system for next time.

I'm trying out a number of golf scoring apps and this is easy to use and a nice interface. The only issue is I can't record scores for a 9, it insists I enter a full 18 before it can give me stats, etc. which is disappointing

Great Ap for keeping score with friends on the Stapleford system. Haven't looked too much further into the extras but I have signed up go the VPAR basic so I can record my handicap, too. Not to see the benefits from it yet but generally enjoying the ap. Had one issue with no rounds synching for a few days but all good now.

Awesome app for amateur golfer. The guys helped set up a whole tour competition for myself and friends using our course choices and changeable handicaps. The leader board was brilliant for all of us to see across the groups. A great addition to a golf day or tour rather than being the man doing the adding up when everyone else is enjoying a beer 🍻!! Great ap. Course maps and gps works great. Scorecard is easy to use. The ability to set up tournaments is great. Amazingly powerful for a free app. The customer service from these guys is incredible too. Best golf scoring app out there.

Hi , have settled on Vpar as works easily on the course and a straight forward interface . My only negative is that there doesn't seem a way to email or sent a completed full score card showing each of the 18 holes .. Otherwise great

A good app for keeping scores and for GPS distances it even emails all players the scorecard. The main problem is its failure to end the game. I have 3 active games and no way to end them without deleting them.

THE BEST....A DELIGHT. ...TRY IT. What a delight it is to use this app. It is so far ahead of the other free ones I have tried. Works so well off-line. Easy to use. Accurate. And no constant pop ups or ads. Try it. You'll love it.

Great app with different points scoring methods. It would be great though if the scorecard was viewable on one page. If sharing the scorecard or taking a screenshot, you have to take a number of pictures and not on one page.
