VR Bike
VR Bike is a system that lets you bike through a virtual reality world. The phone app is partnered with a PC game (download at vrbike.ca), and together they let you explore a virtual world while cycling in the comfort of your own home.
You control your speed and direction through the virtual worlds, and terrain adaptive resistance provides an authentic cycling experience (hill climbing never felt so real!).
Multiplayer capabilities allow you to cycle with family or friends or other cycling enthusiasts.
Performance tracking allows you to track your progress.Special equipment is needed for this system in addition to your phone: a Wahoo KICKR® bike trainer, a bicycle, and a PC running the VR Bike game.

Note: VR Bike requests access to a number of Android permissions on your phone, including bluetooth, network, wifi, file storage and location. The location permission is required only because the bike trainer has the capability to use gps, but we are not using it. The file storage access is only for storing log files. No files, pictures or other data stored on your phone are accessed.
