it would be great if i dont have to turn back and forth between the setting screen and my desk of which i need to wrote down all those numbers. Why cant they just generate some sort of text files or image files with all those numbers written down on it? And for some reason, my banking app open itself several times while i use this app.
Really needs to support negative k values. It loads negative k values just fine but touching them makes them instantly leap to 0.
Note 5/Now trying Note 8? Worked Fine on the 5 perfect in fact and keeped my info..No Problems.. easy grab a pen first.
This app is pretty Good...as my experience cause i have VR but I don't know itd brand and even There is nothing written or there is not any QR so i cant open it in Google VR but this app help me to made...and then i am able to use...Google VR...thank u....keep this work Up
Please help me how to usr the app I am having drift problem in vr apps Drift from right to left pleae Recommend an app to resolve drift issue in vr
A must have app for DIY Cardboard makers.
Useless. Warn people that the app does nothing and that you have to visit a site or download something else. Kill yourself.
No clear instructions
Works fine on one z3 compact, weirdly on the other! Just get a weird double cone effect in each sbs image, almost like I'm looking at the display from the side rather than the end, pics available if needed Rating updated as working well on one phone, and great support from dev :)
Seems like a very useful app... if you know what you're doing. Unfortunately I don't feel like I have *all* of the knowledge I need. For example, when centred on the grid, the vertical axis reaches 5 at the top but 6 at the bottom. Is this slight downward bias normal? Or should the number be the same at both ends of the axis? I will spend a little more time researching so I can finish fine-tuning the calibration but I'll give it 4 stars because its usefulness is obvious. I just wish the app went into a bit more depth about the calibration process.
This app does exactly what it is supposed to do. I don't get the low reviews, it works great for my freefly vr beyond.
Very useful. I didn't realise how distorted my view was. After using this and the Google cardboard website, my vr apps look better than ever. Only reason I did not give it full marks is because you can't save the settings directly to cardboard app.
When I start the app, the loading page begins then the app closes. Cleared cache, forced stopped, rebooted phone, uninstalled and redownloaded, still goes to my home screen after loading page. I'm sure it'll be great if I can get it to work.
I set up my values. Put them on the VR settings site. Scanned the code. And opened calibration to check the codes were right. All the codes were right yet my view was still distorted. Please help me out, my dudes. Will give it 5 stars if it's fixed. ;-;
Too many unknowns enough to make it unuseful. Lacks enough description on what and how to use and go about with the app. It would have been better if there's a list of calibration fir different popular vr headset available in the market. Borderline brilliant and a junk app.
You DO NEED to provide more details on how anyone can use all those coordinates to estimate the parameters. PLEASE, add it as soon as possible
Doesn't work on a brand new ZTE Axon 7. Not sure if it's related to the Cardboard app somehow because that app crashes on and off on both this phone and my Galaxy S4.
App is useful for helping to determine your setting requirements. Would be truly awesome if you could download the parameters directly to the software in Cardboard instead of having to generate a QR. Not sure why Google prevents users from tweaking the settings directly.
Not working on my s8+ with standard and updated Os. Cleaning and reinstaling app not helped . It crashes after splash page. Let me know if you want more info.
I made my own vr box with 100 mm convex lens and this app help me to got write calibration vision. But until now l cannot use the right parameters in the google viewer RQ generator web site due to error in this web site. If you have way to sit this parameters direct in the cardboard app from your app will be very great.
This app is amazing. After finding the site to enter the parameters it was a cinch to use cardboard apps on my VR. Not what someone would do if they didnt have a spare smartphone to scan the code with but if you do it's an easy process to setup and generate a code
The best app for VR headset calibration at the moment. This is a must app for all VR users. Sure, you then have to go punch in the numbers in the Google cardboard website to get your personal QR code, but that's fine and you only do it once.
This is nice but the 'sites in VR' app does it much better (although it isn't the main purpose of that app and the calibrator is just an additional feature).
I couldn't get it to work right with a Moto G6, it left a huge weird shaped "X" right in the middle of the screen. Still an improvement over not working at all. Anyone else have better luck?
this app is clear but when i configure my vr to it all apps again become unclear
I don't know.. I set everything to look normal, generated code, scanned it, opened some game to test it, and I'm getting "double vision" and my eyes hurt as f*** after second when I use it on any other game or app
Worked perfectly! I was actually planning to return my headset due to the fuzzy image, but then I found this app and my image is now crisp. Thank you!
App is working but i still can't figure out what i need to observe in this app? Do i need to configure it so i can see all 8 digits or what?
Does not work on Sony z5 premium in 4k
I got this because the cardboard official site doesn't show the settings in the VR viewer. Nor does it show any text which is useful to determine if things are going to be readable. This app does both. Yea it doesn't generate the QR code, but who cares? Take it off your face and type it in. It's like 6 numbers. And you can see them on the screen when you type it.. And the app has a big disclaimer tell you that you have to do that in the description. I could've used: 2 things: A center view action. I had to orient my chair to whatever direction the viewer thought was forward. And maybe an image of a cat or a short video on one of the walls to see how media looks. That's about it.. Nice work. Oh and negative K (distortion) values would've been good.
