No way to change the size of how much the photo gets cropped, no way to change magnification or orientation of the image, very limited navigation that requires taking the vr viewer off.

Installed it on Xperia Z1 and couldn't use Photosphere images as VR. Waste of time

Does it have the option you put in at all?
Good concept. Needs work. Control shape and size of cropped image filter. Gaze control instead of touch. Or even better, use the accelerometer to control navigation. Use file browser as Well as gallery to choose an image/directory. Work on these and I will update my review.
