Using the appropriately named utility "Use Cardboard Apps For GearVR" this app plays quite nicely on my GearVR and S6 Edge. Controls by head movement and TouchPad. Batting the yarn ball makes me wonder though if I am a prowling cat as opposed to the raccoon.
So I didn't realize that Google cardboard viewers had a tab that let you interact with the screen without having to remove them from your face... Needless to say this game is very cute and enjoyable and i like how it navigates.
Menu keeps popping up on screen every few seconds no matter what I do. Using pixel phone with viewmaster deluxe vr
Ok, so the game works properly with my headset and controller, the graphics look good, it's a interesting concept too, but it's irritating to constantly look down towards the ball of wool. And the game is too short more like a showcase or a demo of what can be done. Please do something so that we don't have to keep looking down in order to move ahead
Brilliant concept! If headshake can induce raccoon's hand hitting motion to replace external keypad would be excellent 5 stars.
I see game upside down. I have to rotate my phone to fix it but then it won't fit in VR headset correctly. Please fix it.
Pretty good, but i got motion sickness 5 minutes after started playing it.
I typically dislike being unable to control movement with the analog stick, but this game makes up for it with a cute mechanic that works well. Great concept, good artistic design, and excellent execution.
Ps4 controller is connected to my gs7 and it don't work for these VR games😂✌
Edit: Evidently there already is some limited degree of gamepad support and this is one of those devs who will badger you until they get five stars, so have your five stars.
Great concept but my head hurts because i have a fat headset and I have to Bang it for my phone to get the touch But still great and the rest of the game is perfect😀
These"developers" of shovelware vr games need to understand you can't touch the screen while using a vr headset...
Cute but boring, this game should only last you a minute
Great game for vr. Great use of controller. I want more from this team.
Has potential, but doesn't fully realize it.
But I wish it worked with all Vr viewers
It's not bad, but i don't love it.
Do you need controls or something like that because I can't do anything at all
No way to control with daydream.
It's ok but it kept on gliching
No point to the game
It's ok. Pretty simple. Made me dizzy.
But somehow, I expected more than just pushing a ball around. I also strongly strongly dislike the menu popping up constantly.. It kind of ruined the game for me. Maybe add a button to hover over, possibly in the corner instead? Other than that, the graphics were cute and reminded me of ToonTown. Overall there were no problems or bugs that I could see, and it was adorable. The menu was what made me uninstall.
NICE LITTLE GAME, BIG DESIGN GLITCH - Given the mixed quality/playability of other free casual VR games, VRaccoon looks pretty good, so 4 stars for ease of play, clever interface that somewhat conceals the fixed path you have to take through the rooms, amusing concept/graphics, and useful gamepad support (I wish other Cardboard games did as well). Limited play value, though children might like it - again, typical of the genre. BUT MINUS ONE STAR (3 star final score) for MAJOR Cardboard support glitch - by putting the "Settings" menu in the center-bottom of the screen where some headsets (like mine) put the "toucher", and no way to move it (e.g., some games allow you to rotate the screen to move that button to the top of the screen), the developers have made the game COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE for customers with such headsets and no gamepad (read some negative reviews that complain about menu popping up and ruining the game every time they try to touch/swipe - that's what happens). Back to 4 stars if they fix this, but not sure when I'll be back for another look.
The yarn control was a little tedious. I enjoyed the pictures at first, but then became nauseated after awhile. (Mild motion sickness)
You can't even move freely you hit a peice of yarn and all you do is follow it it's stupid
A very basic and repetitive game. With minimalist gameplay mechanics. You find all the food and the repeat. You follow a specific path and have no freedom to freely move.
More VR Bluetooth Controller GAMES!!! I want more games like this that you can use Bluetooth controller because I bought one and no games involve Bluetooth controller please HELP!!!
It supports my Bluetooth gamepad, the 8bitdo SNES 30, which I don't think any other cardboard game does, so it gets a five stars from me. I know that gamepad wasn't really meant for VR, but I don't really understand why most cardboard games don't support it since most only need one or two buttons. But anyways tl;dr this game has great gamepad support.
