Does not allow payment via debit card or PayPal. The available balance shown in the app is often incorrect. It takes many days for transferred amount to show up in the app.

Its wonderful as you don't have to learn the different ticket options for different zones.

I don't comment on apps, but this one is catastrophic. It requires constant Internet connection to validate the trips. If it ends in a zone with poor connection the maximum amount is charged. Use it outside the city center (where the City-Tarif applies, anyways) and you may be charged 10 times the usual fee. PS.: The FAQ says you have 30 minutes to get a working connection. It is false. PS.2: One can complain by mail and they answer quickly. Still, it is extremely annoying doing that every time.

Terrible. I try to save new payment options, but I always get an error. I have tried different credit cards and Banks, nine of them work. I try to contact them, but get errors via the contact form. When the payment fails, they charge you a fee, even though it's their fault for not handling the payment options appropriately.

Every attempt to add payment methods fails, be it with different cards or with SEPA mandate. So, pretty useless to have a ticket purchasing app where you can't, you know, pay for the tickets. Perhaps pre-payment though bank transfer works, but it takes up to three days according to their email, which makes me not particularly inclined to even try when I have to travel today. Moreover, the error message for the payment methods is in German even if the payment portal is in English. I can understand it, but not exactly user-friendly.

Excellent modern idea of utilizing commute. Hence, It is useful, compatible, therefore, convenient for all travelers...

Concept is good. But sometimes it gives error when buying a ticket and the you are stuck. Also the payment method for credit card or sepa transfer does not work for me (i have a german card). I raised ticket to etarif team with error screenshot, however they ask me to contact their vendor instead of helping me out.

The payment gateway is a mess. Iam being charged hefty penalties in the name of delayed payments while their payment gateway could not resolve credit card payments and neither does it accept a debit card because the German debit cards don't have 3-digit secure pin on them. Once locked out, there is no way to change your card details and they keep on changing huge penalties. I would advise extreme caution while using this app and Iam reducing the rating from what I gave to it in the past.

Awesome app. Easy to use, tells the timetable of the bus/tram precisely. Calculates very nice rates and also sends reminders to finish the trip so that you won't get overcharged. Love it so far. No fuss. Highly recommended.

I like the App more than I expected, reading others' reviews. It wasn't obvious at first that I can buy a ticket *without* first having to select a specific bus, tram, or train. From anywhere, push "buy" and go. I do NOT like the penalty of 12 euro if I forget to end my trip - therefore 4 stars not 5.

Have used this app for quite some time now. I haven't had any issues with adding my payment card and every trip so for worked flawlessly for me. Update: Can't update my Address and the Tarif of the ticket. Have emailed customer service, no response as of yet. Update 2: Customer Service responded after a while and they quickly have found the solution to my problem (Was a Huawei related Issue). Am now satisfied again!

It suddenly stopped working and I had to pay a fine because they didn't process my card (which had worked for years without problem). Now I can no longer buy tickets every time and support does not reply to any emails. What a shame, it used to be great.

There is no way to use the app without giving away your credit card or bank information. Checking the price is not possible.

Payment settings not visible. Payment doesnt go through although changed various possibilites and received bill by email with fine !!? Very frustrating that in 2022 people cant manage simple apps and payment methods. Help link of website in App is not working... Awaiting improvements and updates.

Worked for 2 years, but then we started to have constant troubles with payment gateway regardless of the payment method (SEPA/Credit Card). This makes the app useless.

Terrible app. It will not accept my Mastercard or German IBAN information for payment.

In the journey planning, there's no way to set both the arrival date and the arrival time. When setting the date, it resets the time and vice versa.

Useless. I just couldn't register because the app doesn't accept my phone number (because french numbers are shorter than german) it's said it's not consistent. I'm going to buy a 5-ticket tariff. And I'll get a discount... 4 cents per trip (thank you VRN you're funny, keep doing good job 🖐️🤡

Used first time and charged daily ride and I only requested a short ride ticket (12 Euro instead of 1.80 €) . No chance to stop the trip option.

Payment option just disappeared and not added even though I receive confirmation. Way to go and put people in trouble. 👌

Mostly good. However, only accepts a German phone number, hence useless for tourists.

It is a good app for digital way ticketing system I need to look for change and paying monthly once like bus pass is good

Difficoult to use. The APP did not really know where I was or in which bus. Payment was also difficoult.

It's working well, I'm using this from past one year ,sometimes there will be errors..still scope for lot of developments..

Payment is a mess. The buy ticket always points to an error. Pathetic.

I couldn't even buy the ticket even though I have money in the balance. What's the point of recharging if I can't even buy a ticket.

The app works as expected and really allows you to safe money when you are traveling.

Useful, user friendly and very accurate.
