Great idea. One fatal app flaw. I've purchased two vehicles from their main competitor, Carvana. We attempted to purchase a 3rd, but I think Carvana is broken since they never managed to actually deliver the vehicle. With Vroom, I'm finding one fatal flaw in the app. There's no way to sort by price+shipping. The app doesn't even show you shipping cost until you start your purchase, which can be significant money. EBay does this right & the Vroom app/web developers could learn from them.

worst car buying experience ever. This is supposed to be quick and easy but it is not. I have sent the same documents in 5 or 6 times now and the process still isn't complete. It's been over a week. They are constantly changing my sales representative which makes it even more frustrating. Customer service is horrible. After spending 3 hours on the phone and being hung up on 4 times during the process I thought everything was straightened out. The next day I get an email requesting more documents

Once I submitted the paperwork it took a month before I recieved my car. There were not any delays, they just seem slow every step of the way. Customer service is very good at first during the contract phase but after that it's almost non existent. Now I can't even drive my car because my temporary tag has expired and they have not submitted my registration information and I have just been getting the run around from them on getting an extension on my temp tags. Worst buying experience ever.

App is about as good as their website. If you buy a car they are slow but at least gave me accurate timelines. Don't expect any extra keys or if you're like me, only the emergency trunk key, no fob. Delivery was faster than them so I had an extra week of my 7 day test drive but the car is great.

Very disappointed. Most of my search results didn't show any pictures on the search screen. And the selection is nowhere near what I expected. I find it hard to believe that the overall rating is a 4.3 out of 5. I think people are very generous to vroom in the ratings.

Scam alert! Went to purchase a car filled out everything they needed, got approved and put a 250 deposit on the car. 5 days later they sent me an email saying they relisted the car so I called them for an explanation they transferred me around and no one could tell me what was going on so finally I asked for the deposit back and they said they would have to open a case and that was it. They did 3 hard credit checks dropping my credit score 20 some points

Absolutely one of THE WORST companies I have ever dealt with. Unprofessional, slow, disorganized, disjointed and just all around bad. First of all...their backend is horrid. These people honestly do not know what they're doing. You have to keep uploading the same documents over and over and over again. Then It took FOREVER for the car to be delivered. When it finally was delivered it was FILTHY. Had not been detailed AT ALL Stay far far away from these scum!

This app really isn't great. I suggest that you use the website instead. I will be scrolling through it and suddenly it will refresh which ends up taking me all the way to the top of the feed.I basically have to start all over again. On the app it doesn't show you all the features that the website does. The website tells you EVERYTHING. It tells you if the seats are heated, if it's 4 wheel drive if it has xm radio. The app tells you nothing. Needless to say, the app leaves a lot to be desired.

This app needs lots of improvement. You can look at last search, but I don't belive you can save a search. There is also no way to sort by newest listing so you have to scroll the entire search every time to see if there's anything new, and if you choose to look at a vehicle, there's no telling where you'll end up in the search results when you go back. It also needs more filter options like trim levels,etc

Sold my car and it was great! I tried the so app and in 5 mins got a great quote. I sent my title and they picked up my car. Had the money the next day. If definitely use it again. My car is a good car to sell and I fully owned it and had a clean title. Maybe that makes it easier as I've seen a lot of bad reviews. I had to contact customer service 2x and they were great. The one issue I had was getting contacted by someone for pickup. It took 7 days or so.

Because of people running into me, I had to replace my car 3 times in last year. With the supply scarcity of good used cars getting worse, I had to travel across the state just for a test drive. I'm in a good position to say that Vroom delivers the best car for your money and this app gives you just as much information as a full web browser search. A major time saver. Wish I'd bought all 3 from Vroom.!

Where to start? My temporary plates expired 03/08/22 and today is 04/21/22. I was told twice that my temporary plates were ordered before they had expired, over the phone. I called in a third time and was told that I have to send certain information through the website in order to get my temporary tags. I've been waiting over a month for a call back from a supervisor. Vroom has many registration issues and will not get back to a "valued customer".

These guys are complete clowns, every part of the deal I'm doing is messed up. Every time I have to call them, I'm taking to a different person that has no idea what's going on. They sent the contracts to the wrong address after I got email confirmation that they understood where to send them. I chose to purchase through the app to try to make my vehicle purchase easy, but it's been nothing but a major headache dealing with this company. The app is also broken, can't look at summary of deal.

The nonrefundable holding fee ranging from $50 to $250 is absurd. If the fee was refundable or would be used for the car then it would be fair. Honestly, a company at the brink of collapse you would think would want to sell more cars. Terrible customer service. I would pick Carvana over Vroom.

This, unfortunately, has been the worst experience that I have had. I started the selling process of my vehicle back in January and my car still has not been picked up. I made multiple phone calls, had multiple tickets placed in and probably have been on the phone with this company for at least 36hrs collectively. They continue to send the wrong kind of tow truck to pick up my vehicle and they're not notating it, which keeps causing the problem. I wanted to buy from them but that has changed now

I would only recommend this company to my worst enemy. The buying process is super smooth and easy. However, They sold me a car with a previous lien on it so now i cant get my tag and registration. I've been trying to get my titlework processed for over a month now and my tag has expired. Nobody can transfer me to a manager neither can they help with my issue. ive had multiple people who spoke the bare minimal amount of english and ive had multiple people hang up on me.

I tried to use this service and the support is awful. I tried emailing and calling because they messed up the contract and I get no support. But then I get automatic emails saying they will run with my money if I don't sign in 24 hours. This "service" is basically a scam. The fact that they require a deposit so early should've been a huge red flag to me, but I figured it was acceptable for the sake of convenience. It's not. Save your time, save yourself the stress, and take your money elsewhere.

HORRIBLE experience. Their customer service number is designed to only route you to someone helpful the FIRST time you call. They'll give you their extension and then when you call back, it will never give you the opportunity to input their extension again. (A manager told me this) They relisted the vehicle I spent A MONTH trying to purchase, because they refused to fix the title of their vehicle. Worst experience ever.

Vroom is a scam.. They will take your deposit and not return it after canceling your order on their behalf. After ordering a vehicle and depositing $249 and submitting all documentation required vroom cancels my order and does not refund anything.

They tell you you can have your car in around 14 days, then when call its 14 business days I really needed a car and they had a great deal but it's not worth the wait customer service can literally do nothing they don't have supervisors or managers they don't tell you any more that l than the website. seemed stream lined until you go to complete the purchase and the approvals kept changing constantly and cant navigate the purchase tabs well and consistently has a system error window show up and to just call an 800 number and there is no way to adjust bank offers like you normally could in a purchase.

After I sent the paperwork for my 2015 Mercedes Benz GLK is when the problems and horrible customer service began. I never received a time frame for when they would pick up the vehicle. I had to call and they opened a case and when they could pick up the vehicle. The case would take 72 hours. After that i never receiced a call or email. I called again and now they actually gave me a time and date. Day of the pick up no one called or showed up. I got tired and canceled the deal. Don't use them!

Don't do it! First off, the app itself doesn't stay in snyc with the website, so it basically useless. But beyond that, I've been dealing Vroom's "service" for MONTHS and it has failed to complete my transaction. Total run around. The agents can't actually solve problems. They just file tickets. When I asked for escalation, they never call back when promised, don't deliver documents, and have incorrect mailing addresses in their contracts so you can't easily go after them legally.
