VRV: Anime, game videos & more

Between the "Playback isn't playing back. Try when playback IS playing back" error message that gives you absolutely no information that hasn't been fixed in years despite customers asking for it and now needing to sign in every time you open the app, it feels like this app has been abandoned by the developers. Given the recent merger, I wouldn't be surprised if it has. They still should fix the login bug regardless for customers.

Terrible app. Considering just getting Crunchyroll because that's all that it has anyway. Everytime I close the app and open again, I have to log in again. There are never improvements made. The subscription price needs to be reduced to reflect the loss of streaming services like HiDive that I have to pay another $4 subscription for.

Constant signout.Got some game changing suggestions. 1. Instead of having every language option be a different season that will auto play making your watch next list look ridiculous....drop down menu inside your video to change language. Kind of like how every video app does it. 2. Better organization, for example RE:Zero is a joke. Somehow 24 seasons? Season 3 and 24 are the same movie? 3. Make titles visible, if the show has a long name, good luck seeing all details. On the house suggestions.

Frequently forgets login info. Server connection is laggy even with a strong wifi connection. But, Crunchyroll's everyone in one place option is definitely one of the best realistic anime sources, especially with their acquisition of Funimation.

I love vrv but I hate how you can't buy premium memberships through the app anymore. I've been using it for years and now I can get my premium back. That and it's sad it seems to be losing more and more options like roaster teeth and high dive.

Roku and Android apps constantly log you out. As far as the overall service goes, at this point there is no reason to pay for vrv after losing HDive and other content. Might as well downgrade to just Crunchyroll.

The app worked well before but for the past 2 weeks now I have to log in eversingle time I open it. What's worse is it's starting to happen on the website now as well making the service annoying as a whole.

Was a great app at first then I the playback issues and now you have to pay for season 2 and 3 of anime that has season 1 for free. So I paid for premium and still got ads and still can't watch the next seasons and some shows are missing seasons.

No way to contact support. Must log in every time you open the app. That alone makes it garbage. It also doesn't have newer items like crunchyroll even though it has their tag. Go elsewhere if you can

Recent update now forces login several times a day... S22 ultra long time user definitely an app issue. Close to unsubbing and finding anime elsewhere given the annoyance involved with signing in repeatedly.to view offline content.

This app randomly logs me out in-between using the app. Edit: figured out that every time I log in between my phone, laptop, or tv the app logs out of the other devices. How useless.

Keeps signing me out. Why is there no automatic sign in option and why every time I open the app i have to sign in very annoying. It just signed me out in the middle of an episode.

Every time I get on the app it always signs me out of my account before it does it says "Dang! We couldn't connect to VRV" It's really annoying 😒 Been happening for a while now

Needs a lot of work. Too many times I have had the error that wont let the show load. Either let me watch some dumb anime or give me my money back. 2022 Edit. Also now keeps signing me out. Yay.

Every time i want to use the app it logs me out and i have to sign in again... I dont know why it is doing this but it is very annoying. Other than that it is a great app.

Can you please fix signing in. I have to every dam time I reopen the app it gets annoying especially on the roku please fix this stupid issue

There should be no premium restrictions, I constantly keep being logged out and everytime I use the app an error either the servers occur

App is constantly signing me out. Now it won't even let me log in. You're better off paying for a crunchyroll or funimation subscription.

Allow the ads to be skipped but it is quite good I enjoy the variety like kabeneri of the iron fortress just make it so ads can be skipped

Constantly being logged out. Every single time I open the app I have to log back in. Extremely frustrating. It didn't used to do this, I only started having issues after the Crunchyroll/Funimation merge started. And it has only become worse. The app has to buffer 2 or 3 times if not more during episodes as well. Also did not used to be like this. I have the constant login issue on the Xbox app, but not the buffering.

The app has a varity of titles to choose from. The issue comes from some of the ads being played, particularly one Nintendo switch ad. The video constantly freezes as soon as the logo appears. I have to constantly close and reopen the app to continue watching. This doesn't happen with other commercials. I've also experienced some connection errors when I have decent internet speeds.

They have a good selection of shows to watch but but it has many issues that drop the rating for me. Slow loading times/buffering issues (can even lead to some episodes not playing), an extremely bare search function, and no way to sort or filter shows (which is ridiculous with how many they have) are the three major reasons why I don't use the app very often or maintain a subscription anymore. I have sent a ticket as well. Quite a few lagging subtitle issues recently too

Absolutely terrible the time constant buffering terrible interface. I only use this app to watch certain enemy I can't get anywhere else, that's only because it's the only one. Edit: I have now removed another star. We currently have premium, so we shouldn't be receiving add, however, every video I load up has 3 or 4 ad blocks in it. I've uninstalled and re-installed to try and fix it, no luck.

One problem with this app on OLED TVs is that, when paused, the intense yellow play icon stays on the screen for the duration of the pause causing the triangle image to be burned into my screen permanently. I'd suggest adding a feature to timeout (10 seconds) when displaying controls while paused so as not to cause burn-in on OLED TV pixels during extended pauses. Update: Logs me out of my account every 24 hrs. Switching to Crunchyroll app.

Apparently yall don't want me to be a premium user tried reloading 35 times So I can finish watching my anime and isn't letting me.
