Since the recent app update I can't find anyway to turn the infra red lights off. I record through a window, so now, during darkness hours I just get reflection of the lights. Previously I could leave it on daylight setting which was perfectly adequate. Now, the camera is useless at the times it's most needed, hence the 2 star review.

For whatever reason, the camera doesn't function correctly most of the time. Sometimes the thumbnail will show and update but the camera feed itself will not load/play. Uninstalling the app and re-installing it seems to help on occasion, but who wants to do that every time you check on your camera?

A really good system and the cloud account is great for storing events. I’ve had the system for almost one year and have been impressed. You can set motion zones, and turn on notifications for a single camera or any number of cameras in your system. Camera firmware updates are rare, but easy to update when available.

used to work OK. the camera is great, but the app is now impossible to use. I can't get past the login screen. hitting the help button doesn't do anything, and when I go to request feedback, hitting submit doesn't do anything either. While I'm still able to connect "locally", I don't need to because if I am already at home, I can just see my dog with my eyes. I guess if I wanted to see downstairs at night this would work.

Since the last app update the camera keeps disconnecting randomly and stopped sending alerts. It used to be a decent camera, now it is almost useless. The option to give feedback inside the app doesn't even work anymore. Please fix the app or bring back the app as it was before. Thanks

Keeps forgetting camera and can't log in.

In the beginning it worked great. I did the last update and now I can't get it to work at all! I completely uninstalled it, tried re-installing and now I can NOT get past the configuration! I have recommended this unit to several others and they bought it as well. I wish I wouldn't have done the last update. I guess for the money spent it was worth it, but time to replace it. ugh...

I've use 2 of the cameras in my home. Slow connections and goes offline frequently. I did the latest update & the app does not work right.I bought a 3rd one as a replacement,it only speaks in Japanese. I'm unable to add a new camera, because of the update it says "first use feature preparation" that prompt goes nowhere, there is no option to do so. I uninstalled everything including the app, reinstalled now I cannot add any cameras. Emailed for help, no response, cheap but not worth the headache

On 3-13-21 did an update for this app and now it does not want to open 😡fix it. If I could give it a 0 star right now I would. I just paid for cloud storage for four cameras and now it does not work. 😡 Finally got the app to open. Finally got app to open. People if you have problems there is a blocker on it through the phone. Download from internet and it will pop up to turn on. GOOD LUCK!

No longer works. I moved in July and just now got to reconnecting the cameras but they wouldn't connect and I tried everything. I cleared the cache - nothing I uninstalled and reinstalled and now it won't let me add either camera. The cameras are now as useless as this app. Really disappointed.

Appalling app, the hardware it operates is fine for the price but like many others, find getting the app to connect to the camera is nigh on impossible. And when you do it frequently disconnects itself. Currently have been unable to use the camera for weeks.

If I could rate 0 stars i would. Most of the time it won't connect to camera. When it does connect one in a while, there's no access to settings; web page is unavailable! Useless app. Don't bother installing it.

The key fefeature, notifications when there is activity, does not function. Even with all permissions and notifications on, there is no badge, notification, pop up or sound. This is the main motivation for getting this app and it doesn't work.

I got these cameras because they could record locally to a micro SD card, supported WiFi, and are inexpensive. The app interface is pretty decent. The cloud storage is expensive, but not a concern as I will use the local storage.

Was better before the update. Use to turn with the phone. Now have to click an arrow to turn. Also the words "high definition " are blocking part of the screen. Used to be able to remove with a tap.

Have to uninstall app every so often, it will not connect to my camera. This is unnerving considering I really on the app to see inside my home when I am not there. When it does work, it's great. Please work on correcting this issue.

The camera is brilliant! However, to be able to use the camera you have to be able to use the app. Since the most recent update, the app will not log me in. I uninstalled and the re-installed it and it still doesn't work! So frustrated!

Used to be a solid 5 start app with little to no issues. As with many other apps this one gained in popularity, changed protocol and updates began taking their toll. Can hardly login anymore and devs don't seem to mind. Time to uninstall vsma and find a newer app that hasn't already tossed it's management to the wayside.

I have used this for about a year and I am content. Sometimes the camera feed won't load right away, but if I just hit the back button and then try opening the device again it works fine. More convenient than other apps I have used.

The camera is very good, the application is also a very powerful and easy to use software. However, there is now a problem that greatly affects my experience. I can't quickly find the function I want. After upgrading, the style has changed. I can't accept this.

Idk why my review got deleted. App no longer works. Therefore camera is useless. UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER. So the app works now but now I have an issue with the camera itself. Randomly throughout the day (and unfortunately night) it will make a rain drop sound. I cannot figure out why it is doing it. Went to Amazon page where I originally purchased device only to find it no longer exists. My advice? Don't buy this camera.

Just received my set of four cameras. It was pretty easy to set up. Everything went smoothly. The app walks you through the set up process of each camera. So far everything is in working order. For an inexpensive set of cameras, the picture quality is very good.
