Not able to access anything! The "my benefits" or "find a doctor" buttons are dead links. When clicked it says, "This content may have been moved, no longer exists, or is currently unavailable." Like someone else said in the reviews here, better off bookmarking the webpage on a browser and saving it on your homepage.
It looks like I had the fortune of starting out the app after the update that just happened a little over a week ago. Works as well as the browser version and does feel like just a wrapper. It's a bit slow, but so far it does enough to warrant keeping the app.
Unnecessarily buggy app. Crashes constantly when trying to view certain content. App doesn't remember your login information (is this not 2020?). Giving the app storage and location permissions still doesn't help with crashing. What makes matters worse is their website is just as buggy.
It's a wrApp! But for just a website wrapper, it isn't bad. Main downside, it is slow, since it's loading web content, but it works and provides a degree of convenience.
Once logged in, I can access information also found on the VSP website. So I suppose it meets the barest minimum of functionalities. I also experienced the behavior where your session is logged out immediately after navigating away from the app, which means you get less function than the website. But more importantly you have to ask yourself, does this app have any reason to exist? I log onto the VSP website once a year to confirm. benefits. Does that really need an app?
the app is not something that is typically used every day. that being said, passwords and user names are not saved and i must reset the password every time i use the app. Reset instructions, even when followed to the letter, some times require a few tries.
Terrible!!!! I tried to create an account with no luck. I have active vision insurance with VSP but I cannot create an account. It states that my insurance is not active. So the only way I can access it is through my health insurance app.
App sucks I can't even login reset my password 3 times and retrieved my username several times. I've sent a customer complaint in because I couldn't login by app or online and still have yet to hear back. All i get is a automatic e-mail alert.
Log in, menu options show up for a second then right back to the log in screen.
Verification code issues make it IMPOSSIBLE to sign into the app. Everytime I sign in a verification code is emailed to me. When I complete the verification code, then try to sign into the app, it sends another verification code to my email and it happens infinitely. Help please.
Horrible, the registration took 40 minutes because the app takes you trough a registration link that is loading and loading and loading once I registered the app won't let me log in. Keeps me on a loop after a I put user name and password it just pretends to load and then goes back to the username and password page never actually loads
Would be better if VSP understood how the internet works. Good luck logging in, I think I got through once? Then you'll have to reset your password, then you'll get locked out for trying to get in. You'll get better results by sending in a self-addressed stamped envelope with your question because you're not going to get anything online.
Password reset takes forever. VSP sent codes with ambiguous characters in the Android gmail app font. For instance uppercase I and lowercase L look the same thus had to to do another reset. So they shouldn't use the I. Is only 2 less alphabetic characters out of 52 about 4% fewer. Lame.
Year later, still useless. Useless as others have stated. just opens in a generic browser to the mobile version of their website. no way to save login or use other quick sign in options. With no updates since last year a mobile browser is probably more secure with your personal information.
OK app. Login works fine for me. All links work fine except the Benefit History. When trying to access the history and open a pdf the program crashes.
Due to the correction necessary in the lenses for my glasses, there's no way I would be able to afford to see without my VSP insurance. It took me 3 months to save the money for my cost as it was.
Can't log in - impossible! Belatedly it says you have not done the verification. WHAT verification? Don't know who made this, but it makes VSP look like a teenager's first small business app. Don't waste your time. Go online.
This app is horrible...every time I try to log on, it accuses me of skipping the initial authentication (I've done it THREE TIMES!). So, I STILL can't access my account via mobile. Nice.
Nice, basic app. Gets the job done. I may have left a less than stellar review here as well. I recant that statement- it works just fine. It would be nice to be able to download the member card to my phone, though. Please fix that.
Can only view one dependent on the app due to bug. Full website works but not the app for viewing all dependents' benefits.
Terrible sign up process. Immediately locked the account out as would not take the username/password I just set up.
Trash!! Plain and simple. Can't even login. Just emails saying complete registration over and over. What an utter joke!
Can't access member ID card, get an error and like other reviewers said it's the exact same as the website nothing making it any easier than just going on the site
All I can say is that the app is excellent to have to see your benefits or if you're looking for vision insurance
Unable to log in . I can't log in when I use the app but there is no problem logging into the the actual website.
I could not even create an account. It kept rejecting correct information. I'm done! UNINSTALLING IMMEDIATELY!

As stated already...you simply cannot log in. I'll be happy to change this score if the problem is resolved by the developers.
Useless! I know I have my username and password right but when I login it just brings me right back to the blank login screen.
This 'app' is just a primitive web browser for the vsp website. The website isn't mobile ready where it is designed for mobile screen. Instead it uses the desktop version of the site. Even worse, you can't use pinch-to-zoom feature that comes standard in a mobile browser when viewing a non-compatible site. Save your icon space. This app can be easily replaced by an web browser of your choosing.
