VTech KidiConnect™ (CA English)
With KidiConnect™ kids can share messages using a compatible VTech toy. All contacts must be approved by parents before any communication can take place so parents will have peace of mind knowing their child is in a kid-safe environment.
NOTE: KidiConnect™ is meant for communication with compatible VTech toys. You cannot use it to send messages to adults or children who do not have a compatible device.
Why Use KidiConnect™?
• Stay Connected with Your Child Anytime, Anywhere. KidiConnect™ uses an Internet connection to let you communicate with your child even when you are away from home - anywhere in the world. Parents can also add family members and friends to the child's contact list, so grandparents can stay close too.
• Kid Safe. All contacts must be approved by parents before communication can take place. Users who are not on a child's contact list cannot contact your child.
• Good For All Ages! Even the youngest kids can use KidiConnect™ to share voice messages, photos, drawings, stickers, and pre-recorded messages. And as children grow, they will be able to share text messages too!
• Group Chat. With Group Chat, your child can communicate and share with multiple family members or friends at the same time.
• It's Fun! You can customize your KidiConnect™ avatar with your photo, or choose one of several cartoon designs. There are also fun stickers and pre-recorded messages. Your child can even use the voice changer to record a robot voice or a mouse voice!
USING KIDICONNECT™
Parents:
Please register your child's VTech device before downloading this app. This will create a Learning Lodge® Family Account, which one parent can use to log in to this app. That parent will be in charge of the child's contact list and can use this app to send or approve friend requests on their child's behalf.
The other parent will have to sign up for a separate Learning Lodge® account and be added to the family like any other relative.
Relatives:
You must get parental approval before you can contact a child. Once you've signed up for a Learning Lodge® account, send the child's parents a request to join their family.

So far so all good. It does pause a little when you open it. I do wish they would go just a bit higher on the game levels, thru elementry grades at least. Remember its a fake kid phone not a real phone people Great SAFE way for your kid to have a phone when still to you g to have an actual phone. I as a parent get to monitor all they do which is fantastic in by book
I've tried downloading and installing this app multiple times hoping it would help the issue, but every time I try to open the app literally nothing happens. The app doesn't even try to open, then my phone pops up and says "the app is unresponsive, what would you like to do?" I got my daughter the kidi buzz g2 for her birthday and I don't think she'll be able to use the kidi connect app to message her dad or I... Honest very dissatisfied and disappointed in not being able to open and use the app
Overall the app works okay with the exception of notifications. I am not notified when I receive a message. Disappointing as one of the main reasons I bought the Kidibuzz phone was so that my youngest could "text" me while I'm at work if he were missing me.
Can never sign in. The page stays loading the whole time. uninstalling the app and re-reinstalled it and still didnt work! very frustrating........
Crashes on startup. Yet another gimmicky toy from VTech that falls short. Don't waste your money on the "toy" either.
Worked for a little while. Now I can't sign in, it tells me my email address or password is incorrect but it isn't.
This app is not working I've tried multiple times and it just doesn't want to load.... So frustrating
i have been trying for 3 days to download this app to my phone so my daughter can use it and it will not download. keeps saying download pending!
I have installed and unistalled this app 4 times and I can't even set a password, even following all their stipulations
Works great. No issues. My daughter loves to communicate with me on it.

It's cool but having an error come up and won't allow me to sign in
Installed it on my daughters tablet and it errors out when signing in. Error 99 (i505) or something like that?

Got notification of new messages, but no new messages shows up. When you log out of the app all your chat conversation disappear.
Logged in twice and the third time I recieved a message from my son this Error 99 kept popping up and blocking me from signing in. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still got the same error. Very disappointed.
The app worked fine until I updated it now it won't even open.
I keep getting an error code (99) when I try to login. This is how I communicate with my brother who has special needs and now I'm getting notifications but I can't login. Really difficult to find help on this as well!
